Harry Potter, the savior of Night City
Chapter 30 Facing Quirrell
Harry and Hermione approached the next door. Hermione was still a little worried about Ron, but time was of the essence, so they couldn't worry about that now. Harry pushed open the wooden door, and with a creaking sound, a nauseating stench hit them. Hermione wrinkled her nose and covered her mouth and nose with her robe, while Harry also frowned at the smell.
In the room behind the door was a giant monster that had long since died. Its body was a size larger than the one they had encountered last time. It lay on the ground with a large, bleeding mass on its head.
"Just died."
Harry frowned and went over to check. He was indeed dead, but the blood hadn't clotted yet and was still relatively fresh, so it seemed Quirrell had only been gone a short time.
"Let's go, we're lucky, we don't have to fight the giant in close combat."
Hermione covered her mouth and nose and stood in front of the next door. Upon hearing Harry's words, she immediately opened the door and went inside. Harry followed closely behind. After entering the next room, they immediately closed the door tightly, and only then did the terrifying stench stop following them.
They paused for a moment, then began to examine the room. The room was small, with only a table in the center and a door in front. On the table were seven bottles of different shapes and sizes.
As Harry and Hermione stepped into the room, black flames suddenly erupted from the doors behind and in front of them, sealing the entrance.
Harry walked up to the flames and put his hand in. It was very hot, but Harry still endured it and continued to probe deeper, eventually only touching a wall.
"No, we can't just walk over there," Harry said to Hermione, pulling his arm back.
"Oh my god, Harry, your arm!" Hermione pointed at Harry's arm, her mouth agape in shock.
Harry looked down and, sure enough, the simulated skin on his forearm that he had put in was charred. It seemed that something must have been added to the fire.
Calmly peeling off the charred imitation leather, revealing the underlying armor, the smart connection module on his palm, and part of the mechanical structure of the retracted Mantis Blade, he said to Hermione, "It's nothing, a minor issue. We can just replace it with a new layer later."
"What do you mean by 'replacing a layer'?!" Hermione couldn't understand. "That's your arm! The skin is burned..."
Hermione suddenly realized something, her eyes widened, and her voice trembled as she spoke, "No, no, those can't be prosthetics... Wait, no, Harry, so many parts of your body are prosthetics!"
"That's called a prosthetic body. Okay, I'll explain the rest to you later. Let's get through this first." Harry didn't say anything more, walked to the table, grabbed a piece of parchment, and began reading before Hermione could ask any more questions.
"Danger is ahead, safety is behind. Two of us can help you. Drink these; one will lead you forward, and the other will take you back to where you started. The other two contain nettle wine, and the three are assassins, lined up and waiting."
- First, no matter how the poison hides, it is actually standing to the left of the large bottle of nettle wine;
- Second, the contents of the bottles on the left and right are different, so neither of them will be of any use to you if you want to move forward;
- Third, you will find that the bottles are all different sizes, and there is no Death hidden in the giants and dwarfs;
Fourth, the second bottle from the left and the second bottle from the right, although they look different, taste the same.
"You do the thinking, and stop asking so many questions, otherwise none of us will get out, let alone me explaining the situation to you," Harry said, handing the parchment to Hermione.
"Okay, I understand." Hermione nodded, took the parchment, suppressed her shock and curiosity, and began to read it carefully.
Seeing Hermione's expression relax and even smile, Harry knew it was all settled. And indeed it was. Hermione put down the parchment and said...
"This is a logic puzzle, too easy," Hermione said with a smile. She walked to the table, looked at the bottles in front of her, and pointed them out one by one.
"Three bottles of poison, two bottles of wine, and the remaining two—one can let us pass, and one can let us go back." She paused, then pointed to the bottles and said, "The largest and smallest ones aren't poisoned..."
Harry watched Hermione mutter to herself for about a minute, then grabbed the smallest bottle and said, "This one."
Harry took the bottle from Hermione; there was only enough left to drink.
"I'll think of something else; we'll definitely get through this together..."
"I'll go, Hermione. You can drink that bottle to get back and ask the professor for help," Harry interrupted Hermione.
"But you... there might still be a mysterious person involved..."
"That's why I sent you back for help. If I can't beat them, I can at least stall until reinforcements arrive," Harry said, drinking his medicine and walking toward the door.
Hermione suddenly rushed over and hugged Harry, then let go, saying, "You have to be careful."
Harry nodded and stepped into the flames.
Hermione watched Harry disappear from sight, then immediately drank another bottle that would allow her to return and ran outside.

On the other side, Harry entered the room, where Quirrell was standing, looking at Harry with a strange smile. His body was tightly wrapped in his robes, and he was trembling uncontrollably, probably still recovering from the explosion.
"Harry, you're surprised it's me, aren't you?" He tilted his head and smiled at Harry. "Did you think that the stuttering, poor, understanding Professor Quirrell wouldn't be here?"
"Oh yeah, yeah, yeah." Harry crossed his arms and looked at Quirrell, speechless. But he was curious to see what other trouble this idiot could cause. Anyway, with Dumbledore backing him up, he could play along.
Quirrell was very dissatisfied with Harry's attitude. He snapped his fingers, and several ropes tied Harry up. Harry tested the strength of the ropes and found them to be very strong, easily broken. He then looked up and continued to watch Quirrell's antics.
Quirrell looked at Harry and said, "You know what, Potter, you're such a busybody. I originally wanted you to help me find the Philosopher's Stone, but who knew you were so useless, you didn't find anything for so long. So I was thinking of taking care of you on the Quidditch pitch, but who knew that Snape would go to such lengths to save you!?"
Quirrell said, pushing the object behind him in front of Harry—the Mirror of Erised.
"Not only do you love to meddle, but your friends do too. That's why I threw the knife to Longbottom, hoping he'd get expelled for killing his classmate. But who knew that old man Dumbledore would still be so indecisive? But now it seems I chose the wrong target. I should have chosen Hermione and Ron."
Harry gave Quirrell a strange look. Did this guy think Neville was a particularly good friend just because he stood up for Neville a few times? Wouldn't he have investigated properly if he hadn't?
"Alright, Harry, look this way."
The Mirror of Erised had been pushed in front of Harry. Harry looked up, and his reflection smiled, holding a red stone in his hand. He then put the stone into his pocket, and at the same time, Harry felt his pocket sink. It seemed that this was the Philosopher's Stone.
"Alright, Harry, my master can't wait any longer." Quirrell looked at Harry, his face also showing anxiety.
"Oh, so the person you were playing alphabet games with in the office the other day was your owner? You two were playing pretty weird games," Harry said casually.
"You wretched brat! Fine, tell me, what did you see?!"
"Wait, can I see what your perverted owner looks like first? I'm curious how twisted a guy could be to do this to you," Harry continued his scathing remarks.
"Don't change the subject, hurry up!" Quirrell practically shouted, it seemed that the so-called master really couldn't wait any longer.
"Okay, stick your ear out here and I'll talk to you then," Harry said. Quirrell believed Harry and actually stuck his ear out. Then he heard Harry say, "I saw you give me a blowjob right now, you idiot."
He then suddenly broke free of the ropes and kicked Quirrell away.
