Harry Potter, the savior of Night City

Chapter 27 can begin now, go ahead, Harry.

The exam day was fast approaching, and the weather was extremely hot and humid. Harry couldn't understand why, since they had magic, they couldn't add a magical air conditioner to the classroom or something? They had time to enchant every quill but not time to build an air conditioner?

The exam was divided into a written test and a practical test. This familiar exam format made Harry think he was attending a vocational school.

Fortunately, the questions weren't too difficult, and Harry had it all figured out. He passed the written test quite happily.

Before the practical exam, Harry met with Ron and Hermione, but didn't mention Quirrell's situation. He planned to tell them after the exam so as not to interrupt their train of thought. In the end, Ron and Harry even made a bet that whoever got the most "O"s on the exam would be the best.

Harry chuckled at Ron's naiveté. Would he be tempted by something like that? He was the youngest mercenary in Heywood. How could he possibly hold a grudge against Ron over a simple "You're something else"?

......

The practical exam began, and Professor Flitwick had them enter the classroom one by one to see if they could make a pineapple tap dance across a desk. Harry hid his wand inside his fingers, creating the illusion of casting a spell without a wand. He was going all out for that "You're amazing" comment.

Harry controlled Pineapple to dance and spin on the table. It not only did a tap dance, but also a ballet that Harry had seen in this world. If he wasn't afraid that Professor Flitwick would deduct points from his score, he would have even made Pineapple do a pole dance.

Professor Flitwick jumped for joy, but accidentally fell off the table. Harry reacted quickly, catching him and gently putting him back on the table. Professor Flitwick excitedly patted Harry on the shoulder and, without hesitation, marked an "O" on Harry's grade.

The second section was Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration test, which required them to transform a mouse into a snuffbox. The more exquisite the snuffbox, the higher the score. Harry used the same trick as before, hiding his wand in his finger and transforming it into a metal snuffbox. On the snuffbox, Harry designed an image of himself riding a flying broomstick with Hedwig dragging her on his shoulder, not missing even the smallest detail of color.

Professor McGonagall was very satisfied with Harry's "Wandless" transformation, and the snuffbox was also very exquisite. After Professor McGonagall's careful examination, unsurprisingly, Harry once again got an "O".

In the practical exam of Potions, Snape asked each of them to prepare a potion of Oblivion. Everyone was very nervous, and they could feel fine beads of sweat seeping from their necks. In reality, Snape was watching Harry's technique closely. Harry had no objections and his movements were fast and precise. Every time he cut the potion, the Pathfinder would indicate the length that should be cut. The precision made Snape nod in approval.

The potion of forgetfulness was prepared quickly, and Harry chose to hand it in first. The perfectly quality potion of forgetfulness shone brightly in the bottle. Snape held it up and looked at it for a long time, even sniffing it, before finally saying, "So-so." But he still wrote an "O" after Harry's grade, despite his words.

The written exam on the history of magic was left until last. To be honest, Harry's review of the history of magic was not thorough, and he hastily handed in a few hastily prepared answers.

"Not a single O..." Ron lay on the Great Hall table, covering his head. When he heard Harry say that he had all "O" grades in his practical classes, Ron covered his face even more, and could only say to Harry, "You're amazing."

Meanwhile, Snape had just arrived at Dumbledore's office when Dumbledore got straight to the point.

"Does the exam end today?"

"Should we send a message to Quirrell now to lure him back?" Snape instantly understood Dumbledore's meaning, but what he didn't quite understand was that now was too opportune; Quirrell might not fall for it.

"No, wait one more day," Dumbledore said. "Tom won't last much longer. In fact, even if you tempt him now, he'll come back. I'm only giving Harry another day so he can rest."

"Are you sure it's him?" Snape asked.

"Yes, it is him, Voldemort," Dumbledore said with certainty, then took a sip of his creamy tea and continued, "He is not completely dead, but now it seems that he has become something like a soul, without a physical body."

"Then why can't it be you who kills him? Why does it have to be...him?" Snape hesitated for a moment before asking Dumbledore, "You already know so much, you have almost everything the Mystic does under your control, why...?"

"He'll have to face him sooner or later, it's his destiny, Severus. And don't worry, you've seen Harry now—violent, disrespectful of the lives of those unrelated to him, ruthless to his enemies, and a justice etched deep within him that shines ever brighter. Don't worry at all, Snape, he'll be fine."

"Phew~" Snape sighed, looked up at Dumbledore, and said, "I hope you keep your word." Then, with a flick of his robe, he walked out of the headmaster's office.

"I'll keep an eye on them, don't worry," Dumbledore muttered to himself. "I believe in him, I've always believed in him."

Harry was sunbathing by the lake with Hermione and Ron, while the Weasley twins and Lee Jordan were petting a large squid sunbathing by the Black Lake. Harry, enjoying the leisure, ran over and started fiddling with the squid's tentacles.

"Harry, did Dumbledore tell you about the Philosopher's Stone?"

Hermione finally remembered the Philosopher's Stone and asked Harry about it.

"We're not involved yet, but that will come later. Be prepared. This time it's not just about finding the Philosopher's Stone; we might also have to contend with the professor's defensive traps and confront Quirrell," Harry replied, fiddling with the giant squid's tentacles.

"Huh? Me?" Ron pointed to himself.

"Not just you, but all of us," Hermione corrected.

"My God." Ron collapsed to the ground. "Why did I have to do such a dangerous thing?" In his eyes, the peaceful and stable life was gone forever.

"Alright, get some rest and go back to prepare," Harry said.

Two days later, while Harry, Dumbledore, and Harry were having dinner in the Great Hall, Hedwig flew in and placed a letter above Harry's head. Harry took it down, opened it, and found it was from Dumbledore, containing only one sentence:

"We can begin tonight. Go, Harry."

After Harry burned the letter with his wand, he found Ron and Hermione.
