Lord of Mysteries: Taiyi

Chapter 15 Sisters, shall we buy the recipe?

Russell Gustave's Secret Diary?

Emperor Roselle?

Audrey was taken aback at first, but then she thought about it and felt no surprise at all. Only something of this level could arouse the interest of Mr. Fool.

It is said that Emperor Roselle was a legendary figure who saw the Profane Tablets and left behind 22 Profane Cards!

"A diary? That's a diary?" Alger keenly noticed the problem, began to fill in the blanks in his mind, and raised the question.

This was exactly what Klein wanted to hear, and he said with a slight smirk:

"Let's treat it as a diary for now."

Audrey recalled hearing about this from the noblemen, but had never seen it with her own eyes, and asked curiously:

"It's said that those... uh, diaries... are special symbols invented by Emperor Roselle, and no one has been able to decipher them yet?"

Alger, the "Hanged Man," nodded, and seeing that Kurt, the "Lover," had no intention of speaking, he glanced suspiciously at the Fool at the head of the table.

Audrey then asked directly:

"How are we supposed to keep these diaries that we can't understand here...? Should we relay them to you? Or send them somewhere?"

The Fool chuckled, and with a flick of his finger, a pen and parchment appeared on the bronze table in front of Audrey.

"Let's try this: imagine a passage you desperately want to write down, and then start writing it with a pen. This will reflect your inner thoughts."

After Audrey's attempt succeeded, the Tarot Association officially established "Roselle the Great's Diary" as the "currency" for the transaction.

The Fool then explained that the "playing method" was only worth two pages of a diary, and emphasized that he was a person who liked equivalent exchanges.

After a long silence, Kurt, the 'lover,' finally spoke:

"Mr. Fool, I will do my best to help you collect the diaries of Emperor Roselle; there will probably be many at the next gathering."

Cat food? I have as much as you want. Kurt chuckled to himself, but he couldn't give too much or he might arouse suspicion. He had to include some of the Emperor's romantic history in the useful diary entries... But he couldn't be too outrageous either, since Little K wasn't "The Joker" yet, and he was afraid Little K wouldn't be able to hold back.

"The Lovers," or rather, the organization behind him, is indeed extraordinary. They even have a lot of Emperor Roselle's diaries. Of course, this is a good thing... Klein thought to himself.

Following that, Audrey and Alger also expressed their willingness to do their best to collect the information.

Seeing that Mr. Fool remained silent, "Justice" Audrey calmed herself down and looked at "The Hanged Man" Alger opposite her, saying:

"Let's continue. After I 'digest' the 'Audience' potion, how do I obtain a 'Sequence Eight' potion? Do you have any?"

Alger, the "Hanged Man," paused for a moment before continuing:

"I don't have the corresponding potion recipes, but I can tell you their names."

"Sequence 8 'Mind Reader', Sequence 7 'Psychotherapist'. Formerly known as 'Psychoanalyst'."

Upon hearing this, Audrey's eyes lit up, and she excitedly exclaimed:

"This sounds very interesting. Where can I get the potion recipes for these sequences?"

Alger, the "Hanged Man," thought for a moment and replied, "You can try approaching the Psychological Alchemy Society. I obtained my sequence name from their members."

The Psycho-Alchemy Society? Klein recalled the captain's assessment of them: "Evil madmen."

Miss Justice clearly hadn't heard of this organization and was about to ask out of curiosity when she heard Lover Kurt speak up.

This man, who spoke little but was very kind, calmly began to say:

"You can also contact me."

Kut cultivates an image of being knowledgeable and well-connected in the Tarot community.

As for this disrupting the subsequent 300 pounds for Klein, he only needs to slip something into Emperor Roselle's diary beforehand, and then ask him about it... and give Mr. Fool's followers some more money, trying to make Klein as wealthy as possible, but not too wealthy. Kurt is afraid that if Klein slacks off, then the Earth will probably be doomed.

He didn't want to see "The Fool" sleeping on the streets of Backlund, or secretly holding a tarot meeting in a random restroom on the street, and Audrey would say: Mr. Fool would never look at something as vulgar as "golden pounds".

Thinking of this, Kurt's lips curled up slightly, feeling somewhat pleased. He noticed Audrey's bright eyes were instantly drawn to him, and Alger also tilted his head slightly.

"Mr. 'Lover,' do you have the follow-up formula for 'The Audience'?" Audrey asked excitedly.

Kut nodded, his tone becoming a little more serious.

"Miss Justice, I understand your eagerness to advance your rank."

"However, if you swallow the second potion before you have fully digested the previous one, there is a high chance that you will lose control and become a monster! And even if you have fully digested it, there is still a possibility of losing control, especially after you have a higher sequence."

"Justice!" Audrey's body stiffened for a moment, then her breathing calmed down, and she spoke sincerely:

"Thank you for reminding me. I was indeed too excited just now and forgot that this is a very dangerous road."

She had originally wanted to ask how to know if she had fully digested the food, but her "lover's" reminder made her give up on asking. She decided to "play" for a while before asking.

Seeing Miss Justice's obedient demeanor and sensing that the potion within him seemed to have been digested a little, Kurt nodded in satisfaction and continued:

"I hope you will always remember these things and never forget your original aspirations."

"I do have follow-up formula clues, and I'm certain I can get them, but it will take some time. In the meantime, I suggest you try contacting the Psycho-Alchemy Society; they might be able to provide you with ready-made potions and materials."

He guessed that if Miss Justice kept in mind his "lessons" from today, the potion might be further digested, but this would have to wait for further feedback to confirm.

Audrey forcibly suppressed her excitement, expressed her gratitude with restraint, and then continued to look at Alger, the "Hanged Man," noticing that he seemed to be thinking about something.

Audrey reminded her:

"Mr. 'The Hanged Man,' let's continue. I'd like to hear about organizations like the 'Psychological Alchemy Society.'"

Alger, the "Hanged Man," nodded and began to recount the information he knew, which was largely consistent with what he said at the fourth Tarot meeting in the original story. Audrey, due to Kurt's actions, became an Extraordinary a week earlier, causing a shift in the timeline…

The Hanged Man's account is roughly as follows.

The Order of Morse, the earliest secret society, was originally formed by humans who viewed the profane stone tablets. They worshipped an impersonal deity called the Hidden Sage.

The Witch Cult was also known as the Witch Family in the Fourth Age. At that time, they had few members and relied on bloodline reproduction to survive. They would kill the fathers of their children and abandon male infants. All of their members were female.

The Spiritual Church, which believes in death, and the Rose School, which enjoys blood sacrifices, both originated in the Southern Continent. After the arrival of the colonial era, they were nearly wiped out by the Church of the Seven Gods, and thus spread to the Northern Continent.

Psychological Alchemy, similar to the early Morse asceticism, believes in an impersonal existence and that the human spirit can evolve everything;

The Secret Order is the least active of all secret organizations, and therefore the least understood. Every time they appear, they seem to be chasing or searching for something.

After all this was said, the meeting fell into a temporary silence. After a while, Alger, the "Hanged Man," finally spoke:

"We can talk about what's been happening around you lately. What might seem like a small thing to one person could be very important information to another."

The 'Fool' at the head of the table spoke in a low voice:

"Can."

Finally, Kurt, the 'lover' who had been waiting for this moment, spoke slowly:

"Alger's description of 'The Hanged Man' reminded me of a friend of mine, a 'voyeur' friend..."
