Chapter 459 officially begins filming.

The first day of filming for "Dragon Soars Across the Seas".

Outside a film studio on the outskirts of Los Angeles, the parking lot was already almost full before dawn.

A row of black vans was parked at the front, followed by several RVs with various logos on their bodies.

There are Jackie Chan's team, Vin Diesel, Chris Hemsworth ———

A cordon was set up at the entrance of the film set.

When Chen arrived, he could hear people laughing from inside the shed from afar.

Upon entering, one could see Jackie Chan standing in the middle of the area, wearing a white training uniform, surrounded by several people.

Jennifer squatted down in front of him, her expression as serious as if she were in class.

"Stand up straight!"

Jackie Chan gently tapped her back with a wooden stick: "Your turn just now, you used enough force, but your center of gravity was off, and you floated as soon as you went out."

Jennifer gritted her teeth and did it again.

Chris Hemsworth sat in a folding chair next to her, holding a bag of potato chips, eating as he watched, and said with schadenfreude: "Jennifer, why don't you just stop practicing? Anyway, your role is mainly to recite lines."

Jennifer turned and glared at him: "Shut up, have you even finished wrapping your dumplings?"

Chris Hemsworth held up the bag of potato chips in his hand: "I give up, I've asked the props team to prepare a hand double!"

"That's cheating," Jennifer said.

"That's called being smart."

"Lazy, but smart too."

The two were bickering, while Jackie Chan stood by, shaking his head with a smile.

Chen Xun didn't disturb them and continued walking inside.

Deep inside the studio, Stephen Chow and Uncle Da sat together, a chessboard in front of them, staring blankly at it.

"Sing-jai, you made a mistake on that move," Uncle Tat said, pointing at the chessboard.

"What's wrong with that? I'll eat your horse."

"If you eat my horse, my cannon will be aimed at your chariot."

Stephen Chow stared at the chessboard for three seconds, then suddenly pushed the chess piece away and said, "I'm not playing anymore. You win this game."

Uncle Da laughed: "That's all you've got in your life. If you can't win, you flip the chessboard."

"This is a strategic retreat for me."

Stephen Chow said seriously, "Save your strength, I'll beat you in the next round."

You'll lose the next game too.

"Then I'll play another round."

Chen Xun walked over and sat down on a chair nearby: "Uncle Da, Master Xing, you two can still play chess?"

Uncle Da chuckled and turned his head: "Since I'm idle anyway, I might as well find something to do. The film crews here are different from those in Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, the first three days of filming are hectic, but here it's slow and leisurely, which I'm not used to."

"Today is mainly for getting used to each other; the action scenes won't start until tomorrow."

Uncle Da nodded: "You've made good arrangements. Let everyone get to know each other first, so that things don't get chaotic right away."

Stephen Chow looked at Chen Xun and suddenly asked, "Are you really alright?"

"It's nothing," Chen Xun smiled. "I just didn't get enough sleep."

"Young man, don't take your good health for granted and do whatever you want."

Uncle Da patted him on the shoulder: "Sing and I developed these health problems from overworking ourselves back then. You don't realize it now, but you'll understand when you're older."

Stephen Chow nodded: "Listen to Uncle Da, he has a lot of experience."

"Don't give me that, you're using me as a shield again."

The two started bickering again, and Chen Xun couldn't help but laugh as he watched them.

Chen Xun got up and continued walking inside.

On the other side of the studio, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker stood together, next to a modified black Dodge, the car the crew had provided for Vin Diesel.

"This car is nice, but not as good as my charger."

"

Vin Diesel patted the hood.

Paul leaned against the car door: "Your charger's been sitting in your garage collecting dust. Can you get it out?"

"No, that's my wife."

"You might as well live off your car."

"A car is more reliable than a person; at least it won't argue with you."

Paul smiled and shook his head. Seeing Chen Xun walking over, he waved and asked, "Chen, where did you get this car?"

'

"Rented!"

Chen Xun walked over and said, "This was specially prepared for the two of you. You'll be driving this car to chase the villains in the movie."

A burst of laughter suddenly came from above. Thor, who had somehow climbed onto the studio scaffolding, was taking a selfie: "Look here, everyone! I'm at the highest point on set! Thor looking down on everyone!"

Chen Xun discovered that this group of people acted like children when they arrived on set.

Hopefully, they won't be so difficult to manage when they're filming.

Jet Li suddenly walked over.

Chen Xun quickly greeted him, "Brother Jie!"

Jet Li nodded and looked at him: "Are you alright?"

"It's alright now."

Jet Li didn't ask any more questions. His gaze swept across the set, looking at the staff coming and going: "I haven't seen this kind of setup in many years."

When was the last time?

"The Forbidden Kingdom".

Jet Li said, "That was the first time I worked with Jackie Chan."

Chen Xun knew that the movie had a mediocre reputation, so he didn't respond.

Jet Li continued, "Back then we were all young, and no one was willing to admit defeat when filming. Every day on set we'd compete to see whose action scenes were better. Looking back now, it seems pretty naive."

"Who won?" Chen asked.

"There are no winners," Jet Li smiled.

"What's the point of winning if the audience doesn't buy it!"

Chen Xun didn't respond to that, but pointed to the center of the field: "Brother Jie, do you want to warm up first? We're going to film a scene between you and Jackie Chan later."

"OK!"

Jet Li took off his jacket, revealing a black training suit, and walked towards Jackie Chan in the middle of the arena.

When Jackie Chan saw him, he smiled and waved: "Come on, let's go through it together first."

"Let's go then."

The two stood facing each other, without any lines or movements, just standing there.

The film set suddenly fell silent.

Everyone was watching the two of them.

Jackie Chan made a move.

His movements were slow but steady. He reached out with his right hand, but Jet Li dodged to the side and then pushed Jackie Chan's chest with a palm strike.

Jackie Chan took a half step back, flipped his hand, and grabbed Jet Li's wrist.

The exchange lasted only two seconds, clean and efficient.

"Not bad!" Jackie Chan released his grip.

"You're too slow!" Jet Li said.

"I'm getting old."

"I'm getting old too."

The two looked at each other and smiled.

Scattered applause broke out around them. Chris Hemsworth clapped the most enthusiastically, shouting, "One more I!"

'

Jackie Chan turned to look at him: "You want to come too?"

Thor shrank back: "No, no, I can't even wrap dumplings properly, let alone fight."

Andy Lau walked over with the script, sat down next to Chen Xun, and glanced at the venue: "It's been a long time since I've seen a scene like this."

Chen Xun turned to look at him: "Brother Hua, did you act like this when you were filming before?"

"almost!"

Andy Lau said with a smile, "But we were all young back then. Now that we're older, we're more relaxed."

Why?

"Because I don't need to prove myself anymore."

"When I was young, I always thought about fighting and winning when filming, and I wanted to make others think I was amazing. Now I don't need to. It's enough to be able to get together and have fun filming a movie."

He paused, then looked at Chen Xun: "You've helped us get this opportunity back."

Chen Xun remained silent.

Andy Lau patted him on the shoulder, stood up, and walked to the center of the field.

A staff member called out, "Ladies and gentlemen, the first scene will begin in ten minutes!"

The venue instantly sprang into action.
