Chapter 25 Wizard's 4 Dimensions

Chapter 25 Wizard's Four Dimensions

The power of wizards lies in their ability to manipulate the rules of the world.

To achieve this goal, they learned to use magic as a constraint and their own spirituality as a vessel to create one magical wizarding formula after another—"contracts".

Controlling nature through "contracts" is what outsiders perceive as witchcraft.

Meditation is an important means for wizards to enhance their spirituality, and it is also the first major hurdle to overcome on the path of a wizard.

Because what puts people into a meditative state—the so-called meditation method—cannot be described in words; rather, it is a rhythm of the soul.

Only souls that can resonate with this rhythm are qualified to embark on the path of a wizard.

Rhodes was able to sense this rhythm from the wizard's manual and, guided by it, perceive nature and enter a meditative state.

But he couldn't describe the rhythm; it was as natural as thinking.

I use my brain to think about problems, but I can't explain why my brain is thinking.

Where does my wisdom come from?

Whenever Rod tries to describe the meditation method, a strong feeling of nausea from brain overload causes him to crash.

This made him realize that trying to describe this mysterious rhythm with reason was not an area he could explore at this stage.

I buried my curiosity deep inside.

With the help of meditation, Rhodes has now become a formal wizard.

But new problems have also arisen.

The environment in this world is too oppressive, and magic is even scarcer.

With his current meditation results, even in another ten or twenty years, he will still be stuck in the early stage of the first level, unable to move.

Fortunately, the manual provides a clear solution to this dilemma.

After becoming a formal wizard, one can solidify the [Soul Anchor] on their body and then elevate their soul from the material world to a higher level.

Meditate in that spiritual dimension that transcends the material world.

After meditation, you return to your physical body under the guidance of the [Anchor of the Soul].

Rhodes carefully recalled the wizarding knowledge; in the wizards' eyes, the world was divided into four dimensions.

Matter, astral spirits, consciousness, ether.

Now he needs to try to break free from the shackles of reality and head to that mysterious dimension called the Star Spirit Heaven.

It is an aggregate of emotions, desires, and spirit; it is the final destination of the soul after the death of all living beings.

It sounds complicated, but it's actually not hard to understand.

Simply put, the world he is currently in is one of the planes of the material world.

When a being in the material world dies, its soul will drift to a spiritual world called the Astral Heaven.

The meditation effect in this plane is too poor, so he now wants to deceive death and sneak his soul to the Celestial Realm to meditate.

Meditation can help him achieve this process.

Rhodes began his attempt, and the [Soul Anchor] solidified in his body.

Filled with a complex mix of trepidation and excitement, he could feel his soul stirring.

Guided by meditation, time seemed to be paused for a moment.

The scene before my eyes transformed into a kaleidoscope of abstract colors, which eventually faded.

"This feeling is like being put back into the womb?" Rhodes asked uncertainly after regaining his senses.

He could sense that he was now in a soul state.

The faint, powerful spiritual fluctuations emanating from the surroundings made him realize that he had arrived at the Star Spirit Heaven.

But he was unable to observe his surroundings.

This is normal; his soul's spirituality is too weak to have reached the stage where he can "open his eyes."

As long as it didn't interfere with his meditation, Rhodes didn't mind after confirming the success.

The rhythm of the meditation was enveloping his soul, preventing it from being digested by the Celestial Spirit.

Under normal circumstances, the soul loses consciousness after the body dies.

Soon after arriving in the Star Spirit Heaven, they will be assimilated into pure spirituality.

The Star Spirit Heaven itself has no function of reincarnation or rebirth; once a soul enters here, it can only wait to be crushed.

But there are exceptions. Rhodes knew that the true God was qualified to establish His Kingdom here.

The souls of believers after death are guided to the Kingdom of God, allowing them to regain consciousness and be reborn.

Besides the divine realm, as long as there is a sufficiently powerful "core" to provide gravity, many special worlds can exist in the Star Spirit Heaven, inhabited by various spirits.

This place is full of secrets and is not safe.

After attempting meditation, Rhode checked his connection with the [Soul Anchor] to ensure he could leave safely.

But he suddenly paused for a moment.

Why are there two lines?

At this moment, his soul was connected by two lines, one of which led back to reality, and the other...

"Is this a bloodline guide? The royal blood of Rothdale, or the barbarian royal blood of the Grand Duke of Northern Frost?"

Rhodes didn't have time to investigate, because he discovered that the world connected by this line was right before his eyes.

The immense attraction instantly drew him in.

The cold wind howled, and the vast expanse of white snow covered the fields, making the world appear as a pure white expanse as far as the eye could see.

Rod stood helplessly on the snow, breathed on his palm, and trembled slightly.

He remained in the Star Spirit Heaven, not returning to reality.

As for this place, it is probably a remnant of some history in the North.

A dark shadow flew overhead, and Rhodes quickly lay down on the snow.

Its wingspan of nearly fifty meters blotted out the sky, and the biological pressure it emitted once suffocated him.

Fortunately, the shadowy figure didn't notice the tiny boy and disappeared in a flash across the sky.

"That's... a dragon?" Rhodes exclaimed. "I didn't realize my mother's bloodline had such a long history. This place must be at least a thousand years old, the Northern Territory, right?"

His own bloodline seemed to resonate with this place for some reason, forcibly pulling him in.

Dragons soar through the skies; it seems the North once had its glory days.

It's good that it's not a divine kingdom. He stood up, brushed the snow off his clothes, and felt relieved.

Entering this spirit world was purely accidental, but Rhodes suddenly realized that it might not be such a bad thing.

He heard the sound of horses' hooves and looked around.

I saw more than a dozen white horses pass by not far away, leaving behind ribbons of ice mist behind them.

That was the Snowfield Steed he had seen at Dragon's Lair, one of the most prized cavalry horses in the North.

It seems that there are quite a few of them in the snowfields of the North during this era.

Rod followed behind the herd of snow steeds, which moved very slowly, even after noticing someone behind them.

Because among them, a young foal was struggling to walk.

He would fall to the ground from time to time, his four legs trembling weakly.

Not long ago, the dragon's might that swept through this area shattered its arteries, and with insufficient blood supply, it couldn't hold on for long.

Finally, the snow steed collapsed, powerless, and never rose again.

After a brief stop, the other snowfield horses chose to continue their journey.

Rhodes approached it. This remnant of history simulated the rules of the material world, and even spirits would bleed.

But after death, no body is left; instead, everything dissipates completely.

This process was interfered with by Rhodes, and the Snowfield Steed, which was about to dissipate, condensed into a crystalline stream of light.

【Name: Snowfield Steed Spiritual Essence】

[Quality: Tier 1 Excellent]

[Effect: The last remnant of a steed that once galloped across the snowy plains; has a 60% chance of evolving the Maned Horse bloodline.]

Spirits can be used as material for evolution and brought back to the material world by him.
