I Created a Sanctuary in Marvel

Chapter 35 The Battle for the Little Rascal

However, Logan wasn't the only one who managed to get information about Little Rascal.

One day earlier, inside a secret Brotherhood of Mutants stronghold.

Magneto, Erik Lansher, tapped his fingers lightly on the table, his sharp gaze sweeping over the newly delivered intelligence report. Anna Marie's name was clearly printed on the paper, along with a brief description of her abilities.

"Raven".

"I need this person."

His deep voice echoed in the dimly lit room, carrying an undeniable determination.

Years of experience and intuition told him that this girl's ability was far more complex than simply absorbing life force. If used properly, it might become a key element in achieving his ultimate goal.

Of course, this requires further testing and guidance... but if successful...

A sharp glint flashed in Magneto's eyes, as if he could already see millions of humans transforming into his fellow human beings in this transformation.

"I understand," Mystique Raven replied, secretly relieved.

As the leader and spiritual symbol of the Brotherhood, Magneto cannot afford any mishaps. Now that someone has emerged who might be able to replace him in carrying out that dangerous plan, it couldn't be better.

She quickly turned and left, and the fraternity members sprang into action, heading towards the location where the intelligence indicated the little rascal had last appeared.

……

Logan had just hung up the call with Ye Feng.

"Let's go."

"Ye Feng has agreed to accept you. We'll go to the Vatican now."

He spoke to the girl beside him, and started the SUV, which looked weathered but was in excellent condition.

"Great!" The little rascal's eyes lit up instantly, his excitement almost overflowing.

Even if she couldn't completely eliminate this terrifying ability, she would be content as long as she could control it with Ye Feng's help and live a normal life.

On the way, Logan kept an eye on the road conditions while trying to understand more: "What exactly is your ability? Is it really just absorbing life force?"

The little rascal sat in the passenger seat, unconsciously rubbing her fingers together; she always wore gloves.

"I...I'm not entirely sure either."

Her voice lowered.

"But it's not just vitality, it seems there are other people's memories... and even more. It triggers automatically whenever there's skin contact..." Her tone turned sad as she said this.

"That's interesting."

"Let's set off first. Maybe Ye Feng really has a solution."

Logan seemed thoughtful. It sounded like this ability was far more complex than the intelligence reports suggested.

The vehicle sped along the highway, heading towards the Vatican.

Inside the Ancestral Palace, Ye Feng ended his meditation. He did not open his eyes, but instead directly transmitted his thoughts.

"Clarice..."

A clear yet familiar voice instantly entered her mind, and Clarice Fang, who was training, immediately stopped what she was doing and bowed respectfully: "Your Majesty."

"Go and welcome a new partner. Contact Logan for details."

"Yes, Your Majesty," Clari replied without hesitation.

A sense of curiosity arose in her heart.

A newcomer? She wondered who it was that Ye Feng had personally ordered to accept them without any selection process. Although she knew the Saint Seiya legion wouldn't consist of only the four of them, this situation still surprised her.

She took out her encrypted communicator and dialed Logan's number.

"Hello, this is Logan..."

"Mr. Logan, I am Clarisse, a member of the Saint Seiya Legion. His Majesty has ordered me to greet you. If convenient, please provide coordinates and the cities you may pass through." Her tone was polite yet efficient.

She didn't know much about Logan, but she knew he was an old friend whom Ye Feng trusted implicitly, and in a sense, even Ye Feng's first follower.

Ye Feng had vaguely mentioned that Logan might comprehend the mysteries of the microcosm earlier than them.

The little rascal overheard the conversation and his eyes widened in excitement. Clarice!

That mutant known in the underworld as the Queen of Space, who rose to fame in the battle against the vampires! There are many legends about her; it is said that although she was only Ye Feng's entourage, she was extremely powerful.

Logan was also slightly surprised, not expecting Ye Feng to send Clarice directly. But considering her unpredictable spatial teleportation ability, she was indeed the best choice. He quickly reported their current location and planned route.

Clarice on the other end of the communication quickly calculated the distance.

"Understood. You can stop briefly in XX city ahead. I should be there in an hour at most."

After hanging up the phone, Clarice focused her mind. She slowly moved her arms in front of her, and ripples spread through the air, gradually forming a portal that shimmered with golden light.

Although her abilities have not yet reached the level of her peak, which was enough to open a passage between the Earth and the Moon, crossing thousands of kilometers is no problem for her. In terms of long-distance movement alone, she is even faster than Ye Feng is now.

"Buzz~"

With a slight tremor in the space, the portal stabilized. Clarice stepped inside, her figure instantly disappearing from the Papal Palace.

Logan parked the car next to a relatively secluded motel on the outskirts of XX City, leaving Little Rascal to wait in the room while he leaned against a pillar on the porch and lit a cigar.

However, his cigar was only half-burned when he suddenly stopped. The earth sent him a warning through a subtle tremor: someone was coming, and quickly, with obvious hostility.

"The troublesome one has come," he muttered to himself, his sharp gaze sweeping towards the other side of the city.

He smelled that familiar yet repulsive scent.

His brother, Victor Creed, codenamed Sabretooth.

He didn't believe Victor was after him.

"They're after her?" Logan's eyes darkened. He quickly gestured to the little rascal in the room, signaling her to stay hidden, while he stubbed out his cigar and prepared for battle.

Having received Ye Feng's earth elemental blessing and gained a preliminary understanding of the seed of the microcosm, his current strength is vastly different from before. Moreover, Clarice could arrive at any moment.

"Bang!"

A heavy figure crashed onto the open ground in front of the hotel like a cannonball, sending rubble flying.

"Logan! It's been a long time!" Saber-toothed tiger Victor grinned, revealing his beast-like fangs, his eyes gleaming with a bloodthirsty and excited light, as if he couldn't wait to tear his brother to pieces.

"Long time no see, Victor." Logan straightened up, his tone calm, even tinged with disdain. "I didn't expect you to still be so... wild."

Looking at the other person's pure beastly behavior, and then comparing it to his own more restrained state, the difference in their abilities was immediately apparent.

He gently exhaled a smoke ring, his expression calm.

"Hand over that girl." Another voice rang out, and Mystique Raven emerged from the shadows, her figure elegant, but her eyes equally cold. Behind her followed several elite mutants from the Brotherhood.

"really."

"I'm curious, what special significance does she hold for your Brotherhood? Or does Magneto harbor some grand ambition that requires the sacrifice of others?"

Logan gave a cold laugh.

He took a step forward, an invisible force surging into his body from the earth, his muscles tensing slightly as he assumed a fighting stance.

"I've just contacted Ye Feng. This girl is someone he specifically designated to protect."

"Want to take her away? Let's see if you have the ability."

Logan's voice was firm and resolute, carrying an undeniable force.
