Little Goku's Great Adventure Starting from One Piece

Chapter 9 Lanza's Gradually Deranged Psychology

On the open ground, looking at the grinning Wukong in front of him, Lanza pursed his lips and looked up at the sky.

Comparing people is a recipe for disaster; comparing goods is a recipe for discarding them.

Compared to this little monster, he's nothing at all.

But why would he compare himself to a monster?

Having already developed a high psychological threshold after being attacked by Wukong last time, he remained remarkably calm this time.

He even looked around with interest at the shocked expressions on the faces of the muscular men, thinking to himself:

This is nothing. If I told you that Goku could learn three of the six styles of the Navy's Six Powers with just one glance, wouldn't you be scared out of your wits?

Moreover, judging from the current situation, Wukong, this little monster, is not that strong. Are you all surprised by this?

Thinking of this, he forced a 'kind' smile, pointed to a pile of neglected metal blocks on the other side of the open space, and said, "Wukong, let's go over there. The rocks here are too light for you; they can't test your true strength."

Wukong looked in the direction he was pointing, then nodded and said, "Okay."

......

"Hey, hurry to Training Ground 5! There's a kid with ridiculously high strength trying to move those metal blocks!"

"Metal blocks? Aren't those things only officers of colonel rank or higher can move? I've heard some are so heavy that even officers of colonel rank can't move them. Why would a child want to move such a thing?"

"You don't know this, do you? It's said that the little guy has already successfully moved the biggest rock there, so he's going to try moving this metal block."

"Can move rocks? My God, where did this child come from?"

"I don't know, but some people saw him come with Lieutenant General Garp. Some people say he's Lieutenant General Garp's grandson, but I don't know if that's true."

"Vice Admiral Garp's grandson? I definitely have to go check him out!"

At some point, news spread that Goku was preparing to move the metal cube at Training Ground 5, which piqued the interest of many idle Marines who were preparing to go and find out more.

Soon, a large number of Marines who came to watch the excitement poured into Training Ground 5. They pointed and commented on Goku, who was warming up in front of the metal cube:

"That's the little guy who pushes the metal blocks? Is he really that small?"

"Exactly, that's so unreliable. How could such a small child push those things? Who's spreading rumors?"

"Hey! Don't make wild guesses if you haven't seen it for yourself. I was right here just now, and I saw with my own eyes that the kid easily moved that biggest rock."

"real?!"

"How could it be fake! So many people are watching!"

The crowd murmured amongst themselves, but Lanza didn't drive them away. Instead, he crossed his arms, held his head high, and thought to himself:

Just you wait and see! The more you doubt that Wukong can move the metal cube, the more shocked you'll be in a moment!

At some point, he had gone from someone who enjoyed showing off to someone who enjoyed watching Sun Wukong show off.

He felt a secret thrill whenever he saw others looking shocked by Goku's extraordinary actions, as if he wanted to make up for the shock he had received from Goku by taking it out on others.

At this moment, Wukong finally finished his warm-up exercises, walked to the smallest metal cube, clenched his fist, and solemnly said, "Then I'll begin!"

Lanza told him that although this metal block was the smallest, it weighed a full fifty tons, much heavier than the rock he had pushed before.

That's why he warms up so that his body can exert more power.

"It's starting! It's starting! This little guy is about to begin. I want to see if he's really as good as you all say."

"Hmph, I don't believe he can move it. If he could, I'd eat this metal block right now!"

"Hey, hey, hey, are you out of your mind? Didn't you see that guy over there gnawing on a rock? I heard he lost a bet and that's why he's like this. You can at least gnaw on a rock, but if you bite into that metal, you'll lose all your teeth."

"You!! Hmph!!"

The man who had just made the bold statement turned red in the face, opened his mouth, but ultimately did not dare to continue with the bet.

Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Wukong took a deep breath and placed his palm on the metal block.

Then, gathering all his strength, he pushed forward with all his might: "Haaah!!"

Sizzle! Sizzle! Sizzle!

A piercing sound reached everyone's ears; it was the sound of a metal block rubbing against the ground.

Everyone's gaze followed the movement of the metal block, and their jaws gradually dropped to the ground.

"He! He actually made it happen!!"

"My God! I can't believe my eyes! That enormous, heavy thing was pushed by a child?!"

"Pinch me right now, let's see if I'm dreaming!"

The crowd erupted in a frenzy, some rubbing their eyes in disbelief, others shouting excitedly to their companions, and still others, refusing to believe it, ran onto the field to push the metal block that Wukong had been pushing, intending to verify its authenticity, only to be met with despair when they discovered it was indeed the real thing.

As the main character on the field, Goku ignored the crowd's exclamations and looked at the metal block he had pushed with a puzzled expression, saying, "Huh? Why does it seem lighter than the rock I pushed before?"

Lanza, who was closest to him, heard his mutterings and his eyes lit up.

Still light? Does that mean Wukong can move even heavier things!

He was secretly pleased by the shocked expressions of the people around him, and felt his body become even more excited, almost trembling with excitement.

So he quickly said to Wukong, "Wukong, if you think it's too light, try something bigger."

Wukong nodded blankly, "Mhm!"

He then went to the larger metal block next to him and placed his palm on it again.

The noisy crowd fell silent the moment they saw this.

Two seconds later, someone asked timidly, "Could he...could he possibly be able to push something even heavier?"

No one answered him; they just stared intently at Wukong, trying to find the answer in him.

Under everyone's gaze, Wukong mustered his strength once more and then pushed hard against the metal block!

Sizzle! Sizzle! Sizzle!

The familiar, piercing sound rang out again, and Wukong had undoubtedly succeeded in pushing the larger metal block!

"Success again?!"

"Wait! What's he going to do? Is he going to try something even heavier?"

Before everyone could fully recover from their shock, they saw Wukong arrive in front of a metal block that was even larger than before, gather his strength, and push it forward.

Sizzle! Sizzle! Sizzle!

Wukong also successfully pushed this metal block.

But Wukong's movements didn't stop. He arrived at the even larger metal block and used all his strength to push it.

Then, he stopped, wiped the sweat from his face, looked at the much larger metal block next to him, and muttered to himself, "I feel like I can't move this one."

When he pushed the metal block in front of him, he found that its weight was close to that of the stone he had pushed before, which is why he thought that he might not be able to move this much larger metal block.

He approached it, his face flushed red, and exerted all his strength, only to find that, just as he had thought, he couldn't budge it an inch.

So he stopped trying and looked up at the numbers printed on the metal block.

"300 tons?"

Then he looked at the one next to him that he could push.

"150 tons?"

He rubbed his chin and muttered to himself, "It seems my strength is somewhere in between."

Leaving aside his mutterings, the naval soldiers watching were already dumbfounded.

Or rather, they were numb, truly numb.

How can a child be so strong?

They've lived to a ripe old age, have they all wasted their lives like dogs?

Lanza watched as everyone sat there like clay sculptures, and the smugness in his heart reached its peak at that moment.

Ah! That's it! What a beautiful expression!

Awesome! That was so awesome!!
