Chapter 59 Billy Russell

Billy Russell let Frank into his home, and as he closed the door, his expression shifted several times, filled with suspicion and uncertainty.

Why would the other party suddenly come to his door? This made him unable to help but suspect something.

He then turned around, intending to ask some questions, but when he turned his head, he saw Frank pointing a gun at his head. Billy Russell was certain that the other man knew something.

"Frank..." He was about to speak when he saw an Asian man walk up behind Frank, clearly having entered through the back door.

My chances of winning against two opponents are slim!

Billy Russell kept thinking about how to get out of his predicament.

Link then said, "Frank, let's conduct the interrogation in his bathroom!"

"Then burn this place down and destroy all the evidence."

Frank nodded and said, "Okay!"

Billy Russell panicked, took a step back, and immediately said, "Frank, we're friends."

"Yes, friend!" Frank said in a hoarse voice, "Just because we were friends, I only hit William Rollins, blinding him in one eye, of course, but I left."

"But you still won't let me go. My wife, son, and daughter are all dead, just because I valued brotherhood."

"Bang..." Frank threw a punch, hitting Billy Russell directly in the face, but the latter did not fall down. There was a door behind him, so he leaned against it, then pushed off with his legs and pounced on Frank.

This was his only chance. The unfamiliar Asian man wasn't armed, so Frank's pistol was his opportunity.

However, although he was fast, Link was even faster, "Whoosh~"

Suddenly, a willow-leaf dagger appeared in Link's right hand and pierced Billy Russell's ankle. "Ah..."

Frank paused in his lunge, becoming even angrier, and smashed the other man's head again with the butt of his pistol.

Then he grabbed his collar and dragged him away. Link followed behind, carefully watching his feet to avoid the bloodstains, and casually retrieved his throwing knife.

Once inside the bathroom, Frank went into berserk mode and quickly extracted a wealth of information.

Billy Russell kept begging Frank to let him go, but the hatred of his whole family drove Frank to become the Punisher, but in reality, he was an avenger.

When Frank emerged covered in blood, he glanced at Link and said, "Thank you!"

His voice was extremely hoarse, and his eyes were red-rimmed.

Link looked at Frank and said, "There's a bathroom upstairs. Go wash up and change your clothes. I'll go get ready; this place needs to be blown up."

"Okay!" Frank didn't delay and went upstairs, while Link went to the kitchen, turned on the gas, opened the microwave, took out one of his spare magazines, took out a few bullets and threw them in.

After waiting a while, Frank came down and nodded to Link.

Link turned on the microwave, the two separated, and went out again through the front and back doors, got into the car, and drove away.

Link set a timer for the microwave oven, which started heating an hour later. Then the bullet detonated, and the house, which was already filled with gas, exploded instantly.

"boom……"

Most houses in the United States are made of wood. The explosion tore the house apart, followed by a huge fire that burned rapidly, even though the gas had been turned on.

The fire quickly escalated, engulfing the house and setting everything inside ablaze.

Link and Frank had been gone for a long time, and their next target was William Roslin, who was the mastermind behind the entire crime, while Billy Russell was just a minor character.

The two returned to Link's house for the time being. Frank would stay there today, since he didn't have anywhere to stay and didn't want to go back to his own home.

"Are you going to kill all of these people, or just William Roslyn?" Link poured two glasses of wine and handed one to Frank.

Frank said, "William Roslyn, that's all I need. As for the people and things behind him... we don't seem capable of dealing with them."

Link laughed and said, "You're very rational, that's good. Maybe the CIA is behind you. They can allow you to take revenge, but they won't allow you to ruin their business."

"The CIA needs a lot of money overseas. They manufacture counterfeit money, traffic drugs, and so on. The profit chain of these guys is enormous."

"Even S.H.I.E.L.D. would have a hard time dealing with them. These people are more terrifying than gangsters. If there were a crime rating, they would definitely be higher than Wilson Fisk."

Frank chuckled self-deprecatingly and said, "When I joined the army, I thought I was fighting for my country, but now it seems that's not the case. Weren't those comrades who sacrificed their lives wronged?"

"No!" Link shook his head and said, "At least in terms of the packaging, they died for their country."

Link was unwilling to continue complaining. That's just how Americans are; no matter how much you say, it's useless and won't change anything.

"Alright, I'll take care of tracking William Roslyn. You go find yourself a decent apartment nearby," Link said. "Buy yourself some suits or something; after all, the charitable foundation is my public face."

"The driver's name is Robert McCall. You know where the car is parked. Just come over before nine o'clock every morning."

Link took out his checkbook, wrote a check and handed it to Frank. This was his resettlement fee. "As for weapons, I will apply for a legal Glock 17 for you, as well as a bulletproof vest."

"Okay, I'm leaving now!" Frank didn't intend to stay overnight and got up to say goodbye.

Link didn't try to stop him. He saw him to the door and told him to take the elevator directly to the underground parking lot.

When Jessica came home that night, Link told her about Frank. Jessica had no objections; the bodyguard Link found for her seemed to be quite capable.

Both of them need to conceal their abilities, so having bodyguards to handle the situation is the best option.

Jessica readily accepts Link's arrangements, since they are all for her own good. This kind of boyfriend makes her sister Tracy very jealous. In fact, when Jessica stayed at Tracy's place a few days ago, Jessica claimed that she would try to steal him away from her.

Link used his laptop to search for William Roslin's whereabouts, using S.H.I.E.L.D.'s system, which made it easy to locate him.

This guy is actually in New York, and he just arrived to investigate Billy Russell's death.
