Hogwarts: Lacus doesn't want to be a witch who destroys nations.

The shack was at the far end of the clearing, and it certainly looked dilapidated. Several roof tiles were missing, vines covered the walls, and the windowpanes were cracked. Dumbledore walked over, pushed open the door, and found the room filled with dust and musty smells. A few withered branches lay scattered on the floor, and there was a worn-out wooden cabinet in the corner.

"Let's clean this up first." Dumbledore waved his wand. "Clean it up!" The dust and twigs were instantly broken down, and the ground became clean.

He then said "Repair it quickly" to the wall, and the hole in the roof was patched up with wooden boards, and the cracked glass was restored to its original state.

The two house-elves immediately got to work, one tidying up the items and the other wiping the wooden cabinet, while Vera helped organize the clutter in the corner, and Amber stood on the windowsill, watching the woods outside warily.

Lux pulled a palm-sized metal device from the system's four-dimensional pocket; it was the Control Guardian she had acquired earlier.

"Professor, can you use Transfiguration to hide this? I want to put it here as a surveillance device." She held up the Control Guardian. "It can monitor the surrounding movements."

Dumbledore leaned closer to examine it, sensed the fluctuations within, and nodded: "Of course, a fine magical device. Where would you like to put it?"

"Let's turn it into wooden flooring; that way it won't be easily noticed."

Dumbledore nodded and raised his wand, instantly shrinking the Control Guardian into a palm-sized wooden floorboard, the same color as the shack floor, so small that it was indistinguishable without close inspection.

The little elf laid the wooden floor behind the door, stepped on it, and found it to be very sturdy.

"That's good!" Lux brought up the system minimap and saw that several people's avatars had appeared at the location of the shed.

Dumbledore then cast several more spells around the shed. He waved his wand, and spells enveloped the shed, even diminishing the sound of the wind outside.

"These spells can keep out outsiders and also prevent sounds from coming out. When Vera comes over on the day of the full moon, I will open the secret passage in advance. Afterwards, I will plant some Whomping Willows on the outskirts of Hogwarts for cover."

Vera walked to the window, looked at the woods outside, and finally smiled: "Thank you, Professor, thank you, Sister Lux, it's safe here."

Lux patted her on the shoulder: "Of course it's safe. We can come here for a picnic after the full moon. I brought all the remaining candy."

As the sun gradually rose overhead, the shed was cleaned up and tidied up, with not only a mattress laid out but also blankets and a heater brought by the house-elves.

Dumbledore glanced at the sky: "We should head back to the castle, Miss Vera. Remember to drink your wolfsbane potion on time. If you have any problems, come to me anytime."

The three followed Dumbledore back to the castle. Before Apparating, Vera whispered to Lux, "Sister Lux, I think Hogwarts is so great. It has you, the professor, and such a safe place."

"Of course!" Lux smiled and ruffled her hair. "From now on, you can stay here and focus on your studies. Once you've learned more magic, you might even be able to help other werewolves."

Back in the Gryffindor common room, Lux sat in an armchair, took out a honey candy and popped it into her mouth, the sweet taste melting in her mouth.

She pulled up the mini-map and looked at the green dot indicating the location of the shack. She felt much more at ease. Although she had set up the screaming shack ahead of time, as long as Vera could safely get through the full moon, it didn't seem like such a bad thing.

The next day, Vera started drinking the wolfsbane potion. Although it was still a bit bitter, it was much better than last time.

Lux accompanied her to the shed every day to check, and the guards were always under control and the spells Dumbledore had cast were working without issue.

The full moon arrived quickly. After school that afternoon, Lux, accompanied by Vera, followed Dumbledore's directions to a burrow outside Hogwarts. Lux tapped the stone in front of the burrow with her wand and chanted, "Unimpeded passage!"

The lawn turned over, revealing a dark entrance to a secret passage, from which a faint smell of earth wafted.

"Let's go, I'll go in with you." Lux took Vera's hand and walked into the secret passage.

The secret passage was narrow. After walking for about ten minutes, we saw the trapdoor at the end. Pushing open the trapdoor revealed the floor of the shed.

The stove in the shed was already lit, a blanket was laid on the mattress, and a glass of warm water was placed next to it, indicating that some house-elves had come beforehand.

Vera sat on the mattress and took a deep breath: "Sister Lux, you go back first, I can manage on my own."

"I'll wait until your transformation is stable before I leave." Lux sat down on the chair next to her, took out a book, and said, "I'll read here and won't bother you."

As the sun gradually set, moonlight streamed through the window into the shed. Vera's body began to tremble as the wolfsbane potion took effect, and a faint blue light emanated from beneath her skin.

Lux put down her book and went to her side: "Don't be afraid, I'm here."

Vera nodded and closed her eyes.

Soon, her body began to change. Silver-black fur grew from under her skin, her ears turned into pointed wolf ears, and her hands and feet lengthened, becoming claws covered in fur. But unlike other werewolves, her eyes remained light gray-blue; she hadn't lost her mind, but lay weakly on the mattress.

"Great, you're awake!" Lux breathed a sigh of relief and handed her some warm water. "Drink some water. I'll be right here. Call me anytime if you need anything."

Vera touched the water glass with her paw, but didn't drink. She just looked at Lux and made a low "woof" sound in her throat, as if she was thanking her.

Lux returned to her chair and continued reading. The shed was quiet, save for the crackling of the burning wood in the fireplace. She occasionally glanced up at Vera, who remained lying on the mattress, not moving, only occasionally looking up at the moon.

Vera's body began to recover as dawn broke. Her hair gradually faded, and she returned to her human form, though her face was somewhat pale.

Lux walked over and handed her a blanket: "How are you feeling? Is anything bothering you?"

"No... I'm just a little tired." Vera, wrapped in a blanket, said weakly, "Thank you, Lux, I'm fine."

"That's good!" Lux smiled as she helped her pack. "Let's go back to the castle now and get a good night's sleep. Dumbledore has already given you a day off."

The two returned to the castle through the secret passage. On the way, Vera whispered, "Sister Lux, I want to come here again for the next full moon."

"Of course!" Lux ruffled her hair. "This will be your own private Full Moon Cottage from now on."

She suddenly realized that even if the purpose of the screaming shack was changed ahead of schedule, it wasn't so bad. At least now, Vera didn't have to hide in a gloomy shack like Lupin, and she had friends and a safe place. That was enough.

The next day in class, Professor Slughorn saw Vera and immediately asked with concern, "Miss Vera, how was the full moon? My wolfsbane potion worked well, didn't it?"

Vera nodded and said with a smile, "Thank you, Professor. It worked very well; I was fully conscious the whole time."

"That's good!" Slughorn stroked his chin with satisfaction. "From now on, I'll take care of your wolfsbane potion at school. As long as you study potion making well, you'll not only be able to brew it yourself, but you might even be able to improve it in the future."

Lux glanced at Tom beside her. He was looking down at his book and seemed oblivious to the conversation, but Lux knew he had definitely heard it, just hadn't said anything.

When get out of class ended, Tom suddenly walked up to Lux and whispered, "That werewolf student, did he have a good time during the full moon?"

"Of course it went smoothly!" Lux raised an eyebrow. "What? You're concerned about the werewolf students too?"

Tom didn't answer, he just glanced at her and turned away.

Lux watched his retreating figure, stroking her chin and tilting her head. Perhaps, this future Voldemort wasn't so hopeless after all.

At least for now, he still cares about his classmates' situation.

As the days went by, Vera gradually adapted to life at Hogwarts. Not only did her grades improve, but she also became good friends with Anna and Phoebe.

During the full moon, Lux would still accompany her to the shed, and sometimes Anna and the others would help cover for her.

Dumbledore would occasionally go to the shed to check on things, and he even added a bookshelf there, placing some books suitable for passing the time. Lux's control guards were always neatly laid out behind the door.

Vera felt that she was being taken care of too much in this life, and she wanted to do something.
