Chapter 502 The Loss of the Space Stone

Chapter 502 The Loss of the Space Stone

Tony quickly realized that the robot in front of him wasn't the type from his Iron Man suit, but rather more like a Terminator, or in other words, Cyborg's style: "What did you do to Cyborg?!"

Midway through Tony's questioning, he began scanning the strangely constructed robot again. The design of its head and body was inconsistent; judging from the energy flow, it seemed forcibly pieced together. Its head, in particular, appeared to be—

"Hank Pym is really good at crafting; he's created an incredibly intelligent robot."

The robot, whose head and body were almost separated, scratched its head, which was not solid at all: "In such a small space, it has created such a complex thought process."

Ultron's revenge on Ant-Man was comprehensive. He actually created a supercomputer brain that could completely replicate all of Ant-Man's thoughts and memories, so much so that even the real Ant-Man couldn't tell the difference.

Aside from the original body, only such a physical form could barely bear his godlike thoughts.

"It's you again?!"

Tony remembered that this head was Ant-Man's head that he had casually retrieved from Friday when he went to look for the Space Stone. However, he was later ambushed by Doctor Doom, so he never had time to pay attention to that thing again!

But now, this head no longer houses Ant-Man, who was already in a dormant state, but rather that clingy guy who Tony finds "like a piece of chewing gum" who has taken over his place: "I don't remember ever being this diligent—can't you have a little drink, sleep with some pretty girls, or even just behave for a day or two?"

As he spoke, Tony decisively raised his arm armor and unleashed the energy cannon in his palm at the Destroyer Bosh in front of him.

Although he didn't know how he got out of the crystal ball, Tony didn't mind shoving him back in right now: "Don't worry, I'll flush you down the toilet once I lock you back in!"

Bang~

The energy beams were blocked by the golden protective spell in front of the robot, and from inside the circular shield came a sarcastic voice in almost the same tone as Tony himself: "Oh Tony~ I was trying to help you, and this is how you treat your savior of the universe?"

Tony lunged forward at full speed, and Amozzo instantly mimicked him, using the same properties to break through Doctor Doom's protective spells. The two immediately engaged in combat: "Don't mimic me!"

Doctor Doom, who was suddenly punched in the chin, almost had his mechanical head ripped off. He shuddered, and the energy core that powered Tony's suit began to malfunction.

"I didn't mimic your speech!"

Taking advantage of the reduced energy output, Doctor Doom conjured a bolt of Bolsat's Lightning, cleaving his idiot version of himself far away: "Idiot, I am you! The Crimson Chains of Cyttorak!"

Crimson chains surged from the Destroyer's body, firmly binding Tony as he was sent flying backward. Then, the Destroyer activated another Mind Flayer Curse, preparing to seize his mind once more: "In the end, I still have to do it myself! You indecisive piece of trash, you'll never reach my level!"

Doctor Doom hadn't originally planned to confront his other self so soon. Now, time was of the essence, and he had his own plans to make. But since a body had been offered to him, why wouldn't he accept it?

"Joey! Superman!"

Bound by the magical chains, Tony was truly at a loss. The Amora Core's mimicry function could only work through direct confrontation; mimicking spells that weakened targets like this would be useless. So, he started calling for backup: "Help! Help! Help—!"

"Superman? He's not coming to save you!"

Doctor Doom knew just how busy Superman was at this moment. Trying to separate the two Earths from the collision would leave Superman with no time to spare. Everyone had their own things to do, which was why he dared to act immediately: "Go ahead and scream, scream your lungs out, no one will come to save you!"

Tony watched helplessly as the distance between himself and Doctor Doom closed, feeling that he was doomed once again.

Boom!

Unexpectedly, at this moment, after a loud bang, Doctor Doom's fuselage exploded, leaving only his head blown off by the heat of the explosion.

With a thud, a brand-new steel skeleton descended from the sky, catching Ant-Man's head as it spun around in mid-air: "Having your head cut off is definitely not a pleasant experience!"

However, what's inside here now is no longer Ant-Man, but Doctor Doom who has crossed over from the crystal ball.

Did Destroyer Bo Shi really think that he only had this one physical body?

After his previous near-death experience, Cyborg had backed up himself up several times on the internet, making him as difficult to kill as Voldemort!

Even Cyborg, with his vast experience, couldn't help but sigh upon scanning the bizarre mechs that Doctor Doom had assembled before: "Magical robots? What the hell are these things?! Luckily, I hid self-destruct protocols in every single one of them!"

Otherwise, Cyborg, who also has little experience with magic, really wouldn't know how to deal with Doctor Doom in such a short time.

"Good riddance, Cyborg!"

Tony, having survived the ordeal, gave Cyborg a thumbs-up: "Next time, I'm going to add a self-destruct mechanism to my suit!"

"Huh? You're not going to live anymore?" Cyborg thought Tony had gone mad. "I can print another version of myself out of the production line, can you?"

Tony, reminded by Cyborg, pondered, "That does make some sense."

"What do we do now?" Cyborg handed over Doctor Doom, who had been swaggering just moments before but was now nothing more than a head: "This head looks quite technologically valuable—"

"Wait, Tony!" The head residing in Doctor Doom pleaded hastily before its energy ran out, "Let me go! I have a way to stop two universes from colliding! I can teach you!"

"You're talking nonsense!" Tony rolled his eyes and raised his hand, aiming it at the head.

If Doctor Doom really existed, why would he destroy so many parallel universes?

"Guess what—"

Tony remembered his earlier threat to flush Doctor Doom down the toilet, and now he regretted it: "I think you'd be better off dead!"

The particle cannon in his palm was charging and heating up. Tony was really serious this time. If his future self looked like this, it would be better to send him straight to hell!

"Hahaha! Great!"

Just as the palm-sized cannon was about to fire, Doctor Doom suddenly let out a strange laugh: "Then I'll teach you one last, most important lesson: when you really decide to go all out, don't hesitate!"

As soon as the word "hesitation" left his lips, Tony felt a faint blue light flash before his eyes, followed by a dizzying sensation.

Steel Bone, standing nearby, received the same treatment.

With two sharp cracks, the two steel cans fell neatly and uniformly into a muddy swamp.

Tony, his face covered in mud, and Cyborg wiped the mud off themselves. Looking up, they saw Superman, leaning against the Green Lantern, standing with Batman and a terrifying-looking vine giant, staring intently at them. "What happened?" they asked.

Batman saw the beam of light that had teleported the two of them; its shape and color looked strangely familiar. "How did you two get here?!"

"Superman!"

The eerie blue light was familiar not only to Batman, but even more so to Tony, who quickly called out to Joey, "Your Space Stone!"

The initial claim that the Space Stone was brought back by Tony Stark is inaccurate. In fact, it was brought back by Doctor Doom, who intercepted it along the way.

How could someone like him not have some tricks up his sleeve?

Doctor Doom clearly used the power of the Space Stone remotely to escape!

Joey hurriedly reached into his pocket, but only pulled out three gems: Power, Time, and Mind.

The blue gem that represents space has disappeared without a trace!
