Chapter 643 Doom: Reed got cuckolded, and he should thank me!

In Professor X's account, the plan to create a second generation of mutants was actually proposed many times, but it was never approved until several members of Congress who should have been in the opposition defected.

"I think you and all of you should thoroughly investigate yourselves to see if there are any traitors." Rune sat back down in his chair and casually pulled out a can of cola from the void, ready to drink it down.

"This is a very serious accusation, demon!" Magik frowned as she looked at Rune. She seemed very wary of the mage, but that was not incomprehensible.

Magik's race is indeed mutants, and her ability is only teleportation, which is not a particularly strong ability.

As a child, Magik was kidnapped by the demon Velasco and taken to the frontier, where he was forced to learn dark magic. He eventually killed Velasco and became the Sorcerer Supreme and Dimensional Lord of the frontier.

This is the real reason why Magik is so powerful.

In her eyes, Rune was not a human at all, but a demon with white scales and two horns on his head. The dark magic emanating from him made even Magek feel terrified.

Therefore, Magik was extremely wary of Rune, and was unwilling to believe a single word he said.

Damn it, that damned White Queen is usually so wise, why did she so carelessly bring in a demon now?

Rune shrugged. "Believe it or not, it's up to you. I recently discovered I'm not a mutant, so I'm not going to get involved in your messy affairs."

Scheming, power struggles? Nothing beats my fist!

"And besides, I can still be considered human!" Rune glared at Magik, then looked at Professor X and casually said, "Goodbye."

Startled by Rune's glare, the Mysterious Woman immediately activated her magic armor. Her skin was enveloped in crimson magic, two horns sprouted from her head, her legs bent into hooves, and a long tail grew from the end of her spine.

Rune vanished into the dream as a wisp of smoke, leaving behind only the question, "Now, who looks more like the demon?"

The secret guest immediately turned red with anger.

Opening his eyes again, Rune cast a spell to levitate the still-slumbering Wasteland Logan and White Queen. Upon seeing the Black Emperor's corpse, he showed a look of disgust.

To prevent other mutants from being disturbed by the sight of the corpse, he casually used the Fiendfyre spell to burn it to ashes before returning to the Pure White Palace with the man and woman behind him. The White Queens at the entrance immediately carried the two into the bedroom.

"This is... Wolverine?" A White Queen looked at Logan in surprise. "Why does he look so old?"

"His superpowers have just returned; he'll be young again in a few days," Rune explained simply, then warned the other White Queens, "You're not allowed to do anything bad to Logan, okay?"

As expected, several of the White Queens showed expressions of displeasure on their faces.

Emma Frost is indeed a complex woman. She is pragmatic, cold, and arrogant, but at the same time, she has a strong protective instinct towards her mutant students.

However, when it comes to romance, the White Queen's reputation takes a sharp turn for the worse. Guess if, during her relationship with Cyclops, she ever used telepathy to make Scott kneel down and lick her toes?

Rune bets that this wicked woman has done it!

Still feeling uneasy, Rune emphasized again, "I also have telepathic abilities. I can tell whether you've done anything to Logan, understand?"

After saying that, Rune left the palace and went into the hall to study how to use the Nightmare Orb.

In the following period, Rune had much more free time. He only needed to join the army of God-King Doom with the White Queen and see which Forsaken had the audacity to run wild in the Battle Realm.

Um----

Perhaps I should go find Deathstroke from Earth-3 in the DC Universe and ask him to mobilize his superpowered subordinates? Rune began to ponder this.

A guy who can make even the god-king Doom wary deserves all the attention he deserves.

"Tell me, Strange, why are you stopping me?"

The speaker was covered in terrifying golden flames and bound by numerous red threads. The one who cast the spell to bind him was Doctor Strange—or one of the most trusted men of God-King Doom, the sheriff of the entire Battle Realm.

"I've already said it! Your biggest enemy isn't Doom!"

Doctor Strange broke out in a cold sweat as he said this. Restraining Cyclops, who possessed the power of the Phoenix, was beyond his capabilities, especially considering that he had not gained any benefit from killing the Beyonders.

In reality, Cyclops was mindful of the feelings of the other heroes and admired Doctor Strange's sacrifice. He was worried that he might hurt the Sorcerer Supreme if he used too much force, which is why he didn't use his full strength.

Without Cyclops himself retaliating, Mr. Fantastic, dressed in his blue uniform, angrily questioned, "You found our ship three years ago! You should have released us then, instead of sending us out to clean up that bastard Doom's mess when he was in danger! What do you take us for?"

"This is the choice I had to make after weighing the pros and cons, Reed." Doctor Strange also had his own reasons.

In the world of battle, there are many ambitious individuals like War God Hulk, such as Red Skull in the wasteland world, Kang the Conqueror who is wandering around—not to mention the zombies, the Annihilation Zerg, and Ultron beyond the Southern Wall.

Only Doom possessed sufficient strength, composure, and wisdom to suppress these ambitious individuals and monsters, preventing the Battle Realm from descending into complete chaos.

"Weighing the pros and cons? Your so-called weighing the pros and cons is letting us be buried alive for so many years?" Reed roared angrily.

The heroes, including Black Panther and Captain Marvel, stood by silently, not saying a word. They knew Reed's feelings and what had happened, and their eyes were full of sympathy.

Mr. Fantastic thought he had lost his wife and children in the multiverse crisis, but when he stepped out of the hatch again, his former comrades had become Doom's henchmen, his own children had betrayed him, and even his wife—

Moreover, these heroes were indeed very dissatisfied with Doctor Strange's actions and were happy to see Reed reprimand Strange.

"Yes!" Doctor Strange retorted, "But at least he can keep these guys from the multiverse, who are just as dissatisfied as you! At least Doom knows exactly how to impersonate a god!"

"You're completely unreasonable!" Reed roared.

In response, Doctor Strange sneered, "But at least your wife and son are still alive! The Human Torch and the Thing are still alive! You, too, are a beneficiary!"

This sentence came with armor penetration and silence, and even critical hit, causing Reed, who was attacked, to fall silent.

He really wanted to shout, "Am I supposed to thank Doom for being cheated on?" But looking back, it seemed that Doom had indeed saved his beloved family and friends.

Reed should really thank Doom.

Doctor Strange realized he had gone too far, so he changed the subject, saying, "I'm begging you, I know you see me as a traitor, but at least—at least for the sake of all the innocent people in the Battle World, please help it, okay?"

Reed stared wide-eyed, his breath coming in gasps. Several people gathered around and tried to calm him down.

"For your sake, Strange, for the sake of all these innocent people—" he said through gritted teeth, "Count me in!"

When the other heroes saw that Reed was willing to help Doom fight off the invaders, they all nodded in agreement with Strange, and eventually even Cyclops decided to join in.

"But don't get me wrong, Strange, I don't recognize the legitimacy of Doom's rule!" Reed said coldly. "After defeating the invaders, he'll be next!"
