Chapter 635 The Evil of Krakow

Who is so bold as to cause trouble in the land of mutants?

Rune was somewhat surprised. Mutants were indeed always persecuted, but their strength was actually quite outrageous. Without countermeasures, exterminating mutants usually required underhanded tactics. For them to be so blatant, could it be—

Is it Ninglu who has arrived?

"I'll go take a look," Rune said, casually opening a portal. The White Queens here also had grim faces and insisted on going with Rune.

"Hurry up and catch up," Rune said with a shrug.

After crossing the portal, a man in a gray uniform suddenly bumped into Rune, but before he could get close, he was pressed to the ground by a hand-shaped entity constructed from a large amount of dark magic.

But that wasn't the most troubling thing for Rune. His extrasensory perception was screaming: It's Logan, it's the scent of that old wolf!

It was unexpected, but—it was also somewhat within expectations.

"—" Rune sighed, turning to the other White Queens. "I suddenly realized—I think I know the guy who caused this. Could you please go back right now and pretend you didn't see anything?"

"It's Logan, right?" The Wasteland White Queen slapped her forehead hard with her right hand, and seeing Rune nodding, she let out a very unladylike scream, "Ah!!! That damn bastard!"

She turned to the other White Queens, "Go back, leave this to me."

Rune was still maintaining the portal. If the White Queens were unwilling to pretend they hadn't seen it, he would use some forceful means. But to his surprise, the Wasteland White Queens made them obediently walk back into the portal with just one sentence.

Of course, there were complaints, but Rune and the Wasteland White Queen both acted as if they were deaf. The loli version of the White Queen even tried to cling to Rune's leg, wanting to stay and watch the fun.

However, her telepathic abilities were no match for her grown-up self, and before Rune could do anything, the little girl walked into the portal with lifeless eyes.

Rune tacitly approved of the actions left behind by the White Queen of the Wasteland, and casually asked, "They all seem to follow your lead?"

"They're afraid of my husband," the Wasteland White Queen scoffed. She knew her other self all too well. "With my recommendation, Black Bolt, who has completely lost the Terrigen Crystal, has also become a councilor."

The focus, of course, is not on Black Bolt's status as a senator, but on Black Bolt himself. His whispers can level cities, revive dormant volcanoes in the distance, and cause tremors on the other side of a planet; a single ultrasonic shout from him is believed to be enough to destroy a planet.

Black Bolt even had to undergo meditation training to avoid accidentally causing the destruction of Earth by talking in his sleep. Coincidentally, not long ago, Rune killed Black Bolt's brother, the ambitious Maximus.

"We have to save him quickly," the Wasteland White Queen began to focus her attention and search for Logan's whereabouts. "His superpowers were mostly extinguished by God-King Doom long ago. Even if Logan hadn't encountered those powerful senators or the Holy Five, those second-generation mutants would have been enough to give him trouble."

At this point, she sighed again, "Luo Gen himself has a certain self-destructive tendency. After that incident, he—I'm worried he'll deliberately commit suicide."

"You knew all along that he was the one who killed all the mutants at Xavier's Academy of Geniuses?" Rune raised an eyebrow.

"—What do you think is the reason I planted agents in that wasteland?" The White Queen glanced coldly at Rune. "If it weren't for the fact that he was a victim of manipulation at the time, I would have personally killed his will and reduced him to ashes!"

Rune understood, and then shouted, "Logan, come here!"

A vast amount of magic rapidly spread outwards, sweeping across the entire city center of Krakor like an inky sea. A rustling sound arose, speaking a strange language, but everyone could hear and understand it—even the deaf White Queen could tell that these whispers were proclaiming the greatness of darkness to all listeners, gently pulling everyone into the depths of a dream symbolizing despair and darkness!

Under her horrified gaze, Logan, whose body was covered in various wounds, was quickly dragged in front of Rune.

"What the hell are you?"

"You're creating mutants! You're creating my own people and erasing their will! You deserve to die!!!"

The roar completely overwhelmed the White Queen's fearful question. Even though he had just been dragged over and was almost at his limit, Logan's anger was still like a volcanic eruption, burning fiercely as if it would consume everything.

"This is a necessary sacrifice."

A purple, semi-transparent man appeared out of thin air in front of the three of them. He had an arrogant look on his face, but when his gaze fell on the White Queen of the Wasteland, a hint of fear appeared on his face.

"A necessary sacrifice? You beast—cough cough cough—" Logan's eyes were red, but the numerous wounds caused him to vomit a lot of blood.

Wolverine's injuries were far more severe than they appeared. He was facing a terrifying being capable of distorting reality. The only reason Logan was still alive was because this guy was playing a "game".

The joystick is made up of the bodies of other second-generation mutants, and the boss is naturally Wolverine himself.

Now, almost all of Logan's internal organs have shifted or twisted; such injuries would be enough to kill an ordinary person five or six times over.

"So old, and you don't even know how to rest." Rune sighed and laid Logan flat on the ground. He then pulled a test tube filled with pink liquid from his clothes and placed it in Logan's hand. "Drink it."

"What is this—cough cough, what is this thing?" Logan asked through gritted teeth, staring at Rune. The Wasteland White Queen, standing to the side, could no longer hold back.

"Just drink it! Stop arguing!" she yelled. "Don't let me control you, or you'll be my XX for a year!"

That makes sense. The White Queen did have some ambiguous interactions with Wolverine, and she quite admired the beast.

A man like Logan can easily arouse a woman's dependence, while a wicked woman like Emma naturally wants him to show the opposite side.

But her remarks clearly displeased the purple-clad man. "Hey, who are you on? Don't think I'm afraid of you just because you and your husband are both councilors. I'm one of the Holy Five! But if your husband can't satisfy you, you can come to me—"

"If you look at me like that again, I'll gouge your eyes out!" The Wasteland White Queen's face showed anger; she wasn't the kind of person who would gobble someone up indiscriminately.

Rune stood up, turned to look at the man, and asked, "Did you hurt Logan?"
