Chapter 242 The Impact Is Imminent

The original history of the Cancer Universe is similar to that of the 616 main universe; the two are almost perfect mirror images of each other. The turning point in their fates occurred with the first Captain Marvel, Mar-Vell. The other heroes remained silent.

The Supreme Intelligence is a living computer composed of the brains of the Great Kree, embodying the highest wisdom of the Kree. If even he acknowledges the truth of this news, then... "I don't understand, why is the world suddenly going to end?" X-Men member Beast frowned deeply. He couldn't accept this reality. What a twisted sight it was! Huge, writhing lumps of flesh, countless mouths closing and closing, tentacles replacing the trees flailing wildly, each topped with enormous mandibles. The heroes could only vaguely discern the outlines of some continents, and thus glean that this thing, resembling the hatching of Ego, was actually Earth.

The first person to break the silence was Peter Parker.

"That's not Earth!" Spider-Man's spider-sense was screaming incessantly, a piercing echo reverberating in his mind. He refused to accept that the twisted mass of flesh was Earth, and struggled to continue, "That's a machine for incubating the apocalypse!"

Meanwhile, the vengeful killers and EX-Men, their faces contorted in fury, looked at the other side with smiles.

"Prepare to conquer!" the fallen Captain Marvel shouted, and the other fallen beings cheered loudly.

"Your prophecy is inaccurate," the serpent said with dissatisfaction, but its voice became muffled and somewhat comical after passing through layers of Urujin.

The dwarves reforged a heavy suit of armor for him, and Odin poured a great deal of divine power into it. Countless inscriptions were engraved on the back of the armor, giving it a great deal of magical and physical defense, while also greatly increasing the serpent's divine power. The handle of the serpent's warhammer was also replaced with a branch of the World Tree.

The giant snake now looks like a heavily armored tank; no creature with a shred of sense would choose to run into it.

Faced with the serpent's displeasure, Odin remained silent while seated on his throne.

Despite being severely injured, he repelled the allied forces of the Ten Realms and expended a great deal of divine power to bring back the Great Serpent and enchant its armor. It wasn't that he didn't want to speak, but rather that he was too exhausted to utter a word.
