I'm a Master in India

Chapter 133 He is too kind

Aijie was stunned. He never expected to hear Ron's name from the suspect's mouth.

"These medicines were specifically requested by Had Khan. We're only responsible for delivery. How they get shipped out to sea after that is none of our business."

Once someone starts talking, their psychological defenses slowly crumble. Without Aijie needing to interrogate him, the skinny man spilled a lot of information all at once.

"How come I've never heard of this pharmaceutical factory?" Aijie suppressed the shock and suspicion in his heart and continued to demand answers.

"It's a new factory. We have an agreement with Had Khan."

"What kind of agreement?" He picked up the whip, ready to act at any moment.

"The new factory's generic drugs don't have the money for clinical trials, so they can't get certification. But Had Khan doesn't care about that. He buys them from us at a low price and then ships them out. People in other countries will test the drugs for us."

Aijie's expression was serious. "So, your drugs are being given directly to people without any testing or trials?"

"Sir, many pharmaceutical factories in India are like this," the skinny man quickly explained. In his view, this was no big deal at all.

"Does Dr. Sur know about this?" Aijie narrowed his eyes.

"He doesn't know. Had Khan is keeping it from him."

"Hmm?" Aijie frowned.

"Had Khan also wants to find people to test the drugs, and it seems he wants to send these medicines to other places. But he's not sure if they're usable, so he can only ship them out through Dr. Sur first.

If Dr. Sur approves of the medicine, then there's definitely no problem. But he's too kind, so he has to be kept in the dark."

Aijie found it somewhat absurd. Didn't these people know that Ron's medical license was reissued? It was more like a symbol of honor than a cure-all.

However, he also breathed a sigh of relief. At least Ron wasn't deeply involved in this matter.

Although he thought so, Aijie still fiercely whipped the skinny man. "Do you think Had Khan is an idiot? How could Dr. Sur possibly understand so many kinds of medicine?"

"Sir, that's what the newspapers say, and everyone believes he's the reincarnation of the sun god," the skinny man complained. "It's also possible Had Khan had an urgent need and couldn't wait."

The fat man on the ground suddenly started struggling again, gasping and shouting something. But because he was too thirsty, it was hard to hear clearly.

The skinny man was a little scared, and Aijie immediately waved his hand. Everyone rushed forward and punched and kicked the fat man until he completely behaved.

But the real interrogation hadn't even started yet; this was all just child's play.

Aijie picked up a water cup, and under the suspects' eager gazes, he tilted the cup little by little, letting the water slowly drain away.

"You're not being honest, so you need a little punishment." He handed the empty cup to the fat policeman beside him.

The latter immediately showed a lewd smile, then, in front of the two suspects, he unbuckled his belt.

Splish splash, the cup quickly filled up, and it was still warm.

The fat man and the skinny man backed away in horror, but they had no choice. The fat policeman carried the cup and came in front of the fat suspect.

"Kid, I just told you, you're finished."

The fat policeman shoved the cup to the fat suspect's mouth. The latter struggled desperately, but the moment his lips touched the liquid.

His body actually trembled, then his mouth opened uncontrollably, and he swallowed in large gulps.

He was too thirsty, just as Aijie said, people will do anything when they are extremely thirsty.

The skinny man next to him had disbelief, fear, and a hint of desire in his eyes. He couldn't help but swallow.

"Cough cough..." The fat man, who had drunk a bellyful of yellow liquid, lay on the ground dry heaving.

After his physical thirst was relieved, an overwhelming wave of nausea surged over him.

Ding, Aijie took out another cup, which contained clear water.

"Alright, this time let's talk about the explosives." He glanced at the two people on the ground. "Who wants to speak first?"

"Me! Sir, me!" The skinny man scrambled and crawled to Aijie's feet.

The fat man also wanted to go, but he had vomited all over the floor and was exhausted.

"Is your commercial finished?"

"Yes, it will be broadcast on all Indian TV stations soon."

"I heard a Nepalese actress is starring in it, and she's from your hometown?" Mary picked up a steak knife and cut fiercely into the red sausage.

Ding, Ron's sphincter tightened.

"What's wrong?" Mary forked a piece of red sausage and held it to his mouth.

"Nothing, thank you, my dear." Ron looked at her affectionately.

Pfft, Lena couldn't hold back anymore and burst out laughing beside them.

"Stop scaring him, Mary. At least he was fierce with us last night, just like before. That's good, isn't it?"

"He's getting better and better at deceiving women, it works every time. The more women there are, the less we get," Mary gave him a side glance.

"That's true," Lena licked her lips. "He was a little off last night."

Snap, Mary slapped Lena.

"Alright, ladies, don't forget the main business today." Ron quickly changed the subject. "Chandla and the others are still waiting for us."

"That's right," Mary elegantly wiped her mouth. "Today is an important day."

Chandla intended to further strengthen the cooperation with Mary and her team, which was very important to them. It was their first real step into Bollywood.

The meeting place agreed upon by both parties was the Oberoi Hotel, one of the top five-star hotels in South Mumbai.

It wasn't featured on postcards like the Taj Mahal, but its location and surrounding scenery were equally outstanding.

The hotel stood at the handle of the Marine Drive's golden sickle shape, just a five-minute walk from Churchgate Railway Station and the Flora Fountain.

Outside the window was the Arabian Sea. The atmosphere inside the room was relaxed, and the private space was cleverly designed, making it truly unique.

When Ron and the others arrived at the private room, their partner Mina was already waiting at the door. Chandla, Joseph, and two other young girls were together.

"Hope we're not late." Ron stepped forward and shook hands with them one by one.

"I think we're all early," Chandla joked. His low voice filled the entire room.

The girls burst into laughter. One was named Rita, and the other Gita. They were both aspiring actresses who wanted to climb higher and were accompanying them for lunch today.

Their words were exaggerated and overly flattering, and their wide-eyed, eager expressions were almost indistinguishable from panic.

Ron sat between Mary and Lena. Both were wearing knitted sweaters, jackets, and skirts, looking casual and comfortable.

Gita across the table frequently glanced over. She was wearing a silver stretchy top and white jeans that were very form-fitting, revealing her curves.

She was very pretty, about twenty years old. Her long hair was tied into a high ponytail, and she was holding a corner of the tablecloth with both hands, constantly folding and unfolding it, looking very uneasy.

Rita had pretty short hair. The hairstyle suited her delicate face and slightly heroic features.

She wore a yellow crop top with a very low neckline, making it hard to look directly at her. Below, she also wore tight jeans.

The girls' outfits had distinctly different styles. Mary and Lena were casual and relaxed, while Gita and Rita were trying to please, doing their best to show off their curves and youthfulness.

Ron suddenly understood Manisha's flattery towards him. The entertainment industry is indeed a bit cruel to young women, yet they throw themselves into it recklessly.

"Oh, I'm starving," Mary said happily.

Her voice was light and confident, but under the table, she was squeezing Ron's hand hard, her nails almost digging into his flesh.

Ron understood and immediately said some pleasant words, making Chandla and the others burst into laughter in just a few sentences.

Mary wanted to get the formal contract from Chandla, which would make their informal casting work more secure.

What was written down in black and white was not just a contract, but also the future she wanted.

With this piece of paper, she would be able to logically establish a company and then be accepted by Bollywood.

Perhaps soon after, they could participate in the production of a film, which was something they had always dreamed of.

Actually, it didn't need to be that complicated; Ron could arrange everything. However, while they accepted his kindness, they didn't want to rely on him completely.

Women's minds are really hard to guess. Not just them, Kavya, Hela, Vanessa... their ideas are all different.

"Let's eat!" Lena guided the atmosphere at the right time.

"How about I order for everyone?" Chandla suggested.

"Since you're treating, I have no objection." Joseph was chatting animatedly with Rita beside him, so his attention wasn't on this.

"OK, you decide," Ron said indifferently. He had just been fed red sausage by Mary before leaving the house.

Chandla waved his hand and called a waiter. Without even looking at the menu, he directly ordered several familiar dishes.

A white appetizer lamb soup, made by blanching lamb and then cooking it with peeled almonds and milk.

Next, he ordered grilled chicken seasoned with a marinade of red chili, radish, and mango, as well as fruit salad, vegetarian fried dumplings, Indian yogurt...

Alright, Ron finally knew why Chandla's belly was so big.

Listening to him list a long string of dish names, everyone in the room knew this was going to be a long lunch.

Everyone relaxed and let the conversation topics spread freely.

Midway, Chandla gave Ron a look, and the two of them used the excuse of going to the restroom to go out into the corridor.

"Ron, take a look and see if there are any problems?" He handed over a contract.

"Mary should be the one to decide on this matter."

"Stop kidding, everyone knows they're your people," Chandla said with an ambiguous expression.

Ron shrugged. He clearly didn't want to interfere.

The contract content was quite good. Besides the extra's fee being raised from two thousand rupees per person to three thousand, some production work was also outsourced to Mary and her team, including the right to recommend minor supporting actors.

"Thanks, brother." Ron returned the contract to him.

"We've had a pleasant cooperation, haven't we?" Chandla hinted.

They had exchanged a lot of US dollars from Ron. The numerous transactions were hassle-free and effortless, without any surprises.

These Bollywood producers relied on him; Ron knew this very well.

Today's contract was also largely given out of consideration for him.

Otherwise, people outside would be scrambling to do this kind of work, so why would it be Mary and her team's turn?

"By the way, are there any of the two girls inside you like? I can arrange it," Chandla asked thoughtfully.

"No, I still have to deal with Mary and Lena," Ron waved his hand.

Chandla laughed heartily. Even Dr. Sur had his difficult moments.

The two returned to the room. Joseph and the others were gossiping about hot topics in Bollywood.

"Have you heard about Sanjay Dutt? Oh my god! I can't believe it's true!" Gita shrieked excitedly. "He used to be my idol. I liked everything about him."

"Yes! Yes! I heard he's in trouble," Rita's body trembled exaggeratedly. "Yaar, it's related to the March explosions!"

"Joseph, tell us quickly. I'm really looking forward to the gossip you have," Mary urged.

Driven by that fiery curiosity, Joseph used his eloquent tongue to talk at length about Bollywood celebrity gossip.

Chandla interspersed and supplemented with eye-opening inside information. As the lunch progressed, it was clear to anyone with a discerning eye that Joseph was interested in Rita, and Chandla's gaze occasionally fell on Gita.

It was just that those two girls kept glancing over at Ron, making him feel a little guilty.

After all, he was Dr. Sur, handsome and famous, so the girls were all very curious.

Mary knew that the contract matter was very promising; the atmosphere at the dinner table said it all.

She was very happy and wanted to turn and say something to Ron when suddenly there was a knock on the door.

Standing outside the door were Kavya and Aijie.
