"How magnificent, Garcia."

Beside the car, Shen Ye spoke to Garcia.

Garcia looked at the bar engulfed in flames, the flames reflecting on his youthful face.

He remained silent; despite being a descendant of gangsters, he disliked this kind of scene at all.

"Shen, this is not what I want to see."

Gazing at the flames, Garcia spoke with a touch of sadness.

Shen Ye shook his head without speaking, and got into the driver's seat. Just as he was about to drive off, a figure emerged from the flames.

"In any case, as a maid of the Labras family, I must stay by the young master's side."

“Even if the young master doesn’t want to see me right now, a maid has her responsibilities.”

"So, please take me with you."

"Head Maid," Robert said, looking at Shen Ye.

……

"You live here?"

The Yellow Flag Bar wasn't far from where Shen Ye and the others were staying; they arrived in about half an hour.

Looking at the shabby rental room from inside the car, Robert said with dissatisfaction.

“It’s relatively quiet here,” Shen Ye said seriously. “Generally speaking, even if the Roanapur gangs beat you to a pulp, nothing will happen here.”

“But this place is too rudimentary,” Robert said after getting out of the car.

Although the Labras family has declined, its long-standing heritage still made Robert a discerning person.

"Hey, what's with being so picky about a family that's already fallen on hard times, and a gangster family at that? You should be grateful you have a place to stay."

Levi also got off the bus with Shen Ye and the others.

She got out of the car intending to say goodbye to Shen Ye, but upon hearing Robert's words, Levi immediately felt displeased.

Robert looked at Levi with a hint of disdain in his eyes, but his years as a mercenary allowed him to perfectly suppress his inner thoughts.

“I’m just telling the truth,” Robert said.

"Tch!" Levi was quite wary of Robert. She gripped the gun in her hand, but ultimately held back. She waved to Shen Ye and said, "Shen, we're leaving now. If there's anything wrong with this woman, remember to let us know."

"I will," Shen Ye waved and opened the door to the rented room.

Robert frowned as he followed Shen Ye inside.

The living room was a complete mess, with food wrappers, bottles, and cigarette boxes scattered everywhere; it looked like a place no one could live in.

Shen Ye looked at the messy rented room, then glanced at Robert, who was frowning incessantly, and a hint of embarrassment flashed across his face.

This trash was left behind by Revy and Dutch when they came to his place for a gathering. He originally planned to clean it up after this incident, but now it seems it's too late.

So he quickly opened a room that had never been cleaned and said to Garcia, "Garcia, you can stay here for now."

“Okay.” Garcia, who was already exhausted, had no objections. The past few days of wandering had worn him out, and he had no other thoughts.

But Roberta was different; she smelled the rotten odor from the lack of ventilation in the room.

"Please wait a moment, young master, let me tidy up inside first," Robert called out, following behind Garcia, wanting to go in together.

But Garcia had a really bad impression of the maid, so he closed the door as soon as he went in, leaving Robert outside.

“I’m sorry, Roberto, I need to be alone,” Garcia called from behind the door.

A pang of sadness flashed in Robert's eyes again. She stared blankly at the door, standing motionless in the doorway.

"It's just a wooden door. You can get in by simply swinging your fist."

Shen Ye stood at the door of his bedroom, looking at the conflicted Robert, and offered a word of advice.

"Let him calm down," Robert said after thinking for a moment.

"Whatever you want," Shen Ye said, and walked into the bedroom.

Then, not long after, he came out again and asked Robert, who was still standing at the door, "How long are you planning to stand there? Aren't you going to find a place to rest?"

Robert turned to look at Shen Ye and said, "I don't know where to go."

"Then let's use the sofa." Shen Ye pointed to the sofa in the living room. "Although it's a bit messy there, at least you can lie down."

Robert looked at Shen Ye, finally nodded, and walked to the sofa.

……

Not far from Shen Ye's rented apartment, a tall woman breathed a sigh of relief, her complex expression vanishing as she murmured, "Shen, we meet again, even though you didn't see me."

Then, as if remembering something, she took out a miniature microphone from the backpack at her waist.

“I have reached my destination and request further instructions,” she shouted into the microphone.

"Very good. Please continue to observe the target. The company's troops will arrive in a little while..."

(Sorry, I was drinking with friends, so the update is late.)

Although I took a break from updating, I'm still going to update one chapter to show that I'm still alive and at least I won't stop updating.

Chapter 77! The First Peaceful Day

……

Soon, the night passed.

The next day, before dawn, Shen Ye was awakened by the sounds of tables and chairs being moved and glass shattering.

Speechless, Shen Ye got out of bed, dressed, lit a cigarette, and pushed open the bedroom door.

In the living room, Roberta was diligently cleaning up the shards of glass on the floor; she had accidentally broken a water glass.

"You'll be held responsible for damaging personal property, Miss Maid," Shen Ye said after lighting a cigarette and taking a deep drag.

Robert turned to look at him, a hint of embarrassment flashing across his usually aloof face.

"I'll go out and buy it later," she said.

Then he turned back and continued sweeping the floor with a broom he found somewhere.

Then, she accidentally bumped into the water glass on the coffee table again and broke it.

Robert paused, staring at the shards on the ground, and fell silent.

"I'm such a failure!" she thought to herself. "I can't even do something this simple right."

"Let me do it, Miss Maid. If this keeps up, I won't even have a cup to drink from." Seeing Robert standing there dumbfounded, Shen Ye finally couldn't hold back anymore. If she continued cleaning, he would only be able to drink from a bowl.

"No need." Upon hearing Shen Ye's words, Robert suddenly looked up and shouted at him, "I'll pay for the broken cup. I don't need your help."

“But this is my home.” Shen Ye pointed to the room.

“But my young master lives here, and as his maid, I should provide him with a clean environment,” Roberte said coldly, looking at Shen Ye.

Seeing the maid's insistence, Shen Ye sighed inwardly, then shrugged and said, "Then please do as you wish."

After saying that, under Robert's disapproving gaze, he threw the cigarette butt on the ground and then closed the bedroom door.

Then, a snapping sound came in.

He fell again...

……

When Shen Ye came out of the bedroom again, half an hour had passed.

Robert was not in the living room at this time; he had probably gone out.

"That's really... terrible!"

Looking at the only remaining water glass on the coffee table, Shen Ye shook his head with a wry smile, then consoled himself by saying:

"But that's fine too. Now when Levi and the others come again, I have a reason not to pour them water."

Then he walked to the door of Garcia's room and knocked gently.

"Are you awake, Garcia?"

There was no response; the little boy was still sleeping, exhausted from last night's experience.

So Shen Ye went into the bathroom and began to tidy himself up.

After washing up, Shen Ye returned to the living room, sat on the sofa, and watched TV listlessly.

Of course, his mind wasn't on the TV program, but rather on sorting out the thoughts he hadn't finished organizing the night before.

"To be honest, the plot has completely spiraled out of control."

"Who would have thought that Robert would be cleaning my house... Ugh, why am I suddenly thinking about this?"

"However, it's quite interesting. That's Robert, the woman known as the Human Terminator!"
