In fact, when he was in the Hogwarts Library, he did not find any record of the Curved-Horned Snoring Beast in the relevant books.

The Curved-Horned Snoring Beast must be extremely mysterious, no wonder Luna is so obsessed with it.

If the long horns before you truly belong to the Curved-Horned Snoring Beast, one can only imagine how beautiful they must be.

Xenophilius shared the same thought, his gaze softening considerably as he looked at the horned creature, as if it were a precious jewel.

"It might really be left behind by the Curved-Horned Snoring Beast! They are so mysterious and timid, and they make a long, snoring sound—it's definitely a Curved-Horned Snoring Beast! Can you take us there to see it?"

“Of course, no problem. Shall we set off now?” Ominis smiled slightly and took the first step.

……

The four quickly left the village. Orminus stretched out his wand and waved it back and forth, his steps unhurried.

Despite his unhurried pace, Vizette and the others were still very nervous, the three of them forming a triangle to protect him.

Ominis noticed this and smiled slightly, saying, "Please rest assured, three kind travelers, I have been living like this for countless years, and nothing will happen to me."

"My wand is my eye. It helps me see the path ahead, prevents me from being misled, and keeps me on the right track."

“That’s really remarkable. Are you permanent residents here?” Xenophilius started to talk. “I heard from the guide that this is the first time he’s seen you.”

“I came here to reminisce about the past,” Orminis said ramblingly. “But I’m quite familiar with the legends of this island. Shall I tell you about them?”

Seeing the light in Luna and Vizette's eyes, Xenophilius nodded and said, "Of course, we love hearing that."

Orminis chuckled and said, "In the distant past, there once existed a powerful wizard whose talent was unparalleled. He could even command lightning and the ocean with ease..."

"He was also a pioneer. In order to better and more widely pass on magic and allow wizards to give full play to their talents, he rode a bright red horse to this island..."

"There was already a towering tree on this island, and with his arrival, it seems that the tree, stimulated by him, has grown even taller..."

"The wizard's own magical power grew stronger and stronger, even affecting the surrounding area, unleashing terrifying lightning and towering waves, preventing curious wizards from getting close..."

"Until one day, the lightning and the waves disappeared together, and even the towering tree vanished, finally allowing the wizards from the surrounding area to set foot on the island..."

"They came to the wizard's resting place, but could not find the wizard anywhere. They only found the magical artifacts that had been left behind, and a scroll of parchment covered with bright red writing."

"The wizards stayed on this island, developing more magic and spells by studying magical artifacts and parchment. Do you know what the writing on that parchment is?"

Vizette instinctively replied, "Could it be runes? The History of Magic mentions that the earliest runes appeared in Northern Europe and then spread throughout the world."

“That’s right, it’s Runeven.” Orminus nodded.

"Mr. Orminis, may I ask the name of that wizard pioneer? Was it... Odin?"

The towering trees, the wizards who wield lightning, and the fact that the island is named "Midgard" made it hard for him not to associate them with these things.

“Some kind of connection between Muggles and wizards, right?” Orminis laughed. “Back then, the relationship between Muggles and wizards wasn’t bad.”

"It should even be called frequent communication; Muggles weave their own myths based on the legends told by wizards."

He suddenly stopped and pointed to the bushes not far away.

"Time flies, doesn't it? It was under that tree that Annie and I found the Curved-Horned Snork that was shedding its horns."

Xenophius parted the bushes and saw a series of faintly glowing footprints on the ground, shaped like rounded triangles.

He led the way, while Vizet held his wand in his hand, having already cast the Guardian Meditation Technique, cautiously alert to his surroundings.

The jungle was more peaceful than I had imagined; I only encountered a few common small animals along the way.

The magical creatures that occasionally appear are never higher than level XXX.

Following the footprints, we arrived at a shallow pond.

"Is there someone there?" Vizet asked in a low voice.

He saw a figure crouching on the shore on the other side of the lake.

The figure's body heaved violently, as if coughing incessantly, the sound of which was extremely painful, and occasionally a few mouthfuls of blood would be spat out.

The figure opposite was shrouded in a black robe, but Vizette could sense that the figure was counting people.

Vizette narrowed her eyes slightly, a spell flashing through her mind: the Hanging Scream Spell!

He remembered Snape's warning; in the world outside of Hogwarts, he would first consider the worst-case scenario.

Especially with Luna by his side, he cannot afford to be careless and risk harming his family.

Since this figure is shrouded in darkness, it must be up to no good. The headcount is probably a way of assessing the situation and deciding whether there is an opportunity to strike.

Perhaps due to the large number of people, the figure coughed as he retreated, eventually disappearing into the jungle.

“Everything you see with your eyes may not be real.” Ominis murmured, looking in the direction where the figure disappeared, and gently shook his head.

After a brief interlude, Orminis took the lead, guiding everyone along the pond.

"The tracks of the Curved-Horned Snoring Beast disappeared here, and we never encountered it again."

Xenophilius asked tentatively, "Could it be in the pond?"

"That's a good idea. Actually, we checked and didn't find any traces of magic."

Orminus gently waved his wand, and the pond suddenly rippled, rising slowly into the air like a giant bubble.

Just as he said, apart from silt, a few fish and frog skeletons, and aquatic plants, there was nothing different at the bottom of the pond...

Chapter 27 Blood Curse Orc Circus

Sweden has long days, which caused Wizette and his team to lose track of time and search until after 7 p.m. before finally returning to Ominis.

Orminis sat quietly on a wooden chair by the pond, his head slightly lowered, as if listening to everything around him.

Hearing the three people's footsteps, he slowly stood up. "It's getting late. You must be very tired. Why don't we go back first?"

Xenophilius lowered his head, looked at Luna, and asked softly, "Honey, what do you think?"

Luna turned and looked at the pond again, then nodded and said softly, "Okay, Dad."

Vizette deactivated the Eye of Magic. After this journey, apart from collecting a considerable amount of ancient magical power, he had not gained anything else.

The Wizarding Guide to Combat absorbed these ancient magical powers, yet no new pages appeared.

Orminis waved his wand, and the wooden chair behind him turned into a stone. "I'll be back tomorrow."

“We can go to the other side of the jungle and see the wizard’s ruins, the place where Odin once rested.”

They didn't feel it while searching for the Curved Horned Snoring Beast, but when they embarked on their return journey, they felt sore all over.

Vizette used healing magic to help relieve Luna's joint pain.

He then looked at Xenophilius and asked if he needed healing magic.

Xenophilius shook his head, rubbing his lower back as he said, "I'm not old yet! I can stay there until dark without any problem!"

Luna moved closer to Vizette and said softly, "Teacher Vizette, could you teach me how to cast healing magic?"

“Let’s wait until we get back to the hotel!” Vizet nodded with a smile. “I’ll find my notes and summarize them first.”

Luna smiled slightly and said, "Okay!"

Orminis continued to wave his wand, a satisfied smile on his face.

-------------------------------------

The four returned to the hotel. The other guests had already had dinner and went back to rest or to see the magic circus performance; none of them stayed in the lobby.

"Everything's fresh!" Anne Saru waved her wand, brushing the dust off the four of them. "Welcome back. Did you find the Curved Horn Snoring Beast?"

Orminis shook his head slightly. "Just like our initial search, it seems... to have disappeared."

“That’s such a shame!” Anne Saloo sighed regretfully. “Come and sit down, everyone! Dinner is ready.”

Not only was the hotel's decor very similar to Hogwarts, but the food was too; at least, Vizet couldn't tell the difference.

After drizzling the gravy over the mashed potatoes, Xenophilius stirred it as he asked, "Ms. Saru, you must all be English, right? Did you also attend Hogwarts before?"

“We really like Hogwarts…” Anne Saru nodded gently. “Perhaps most English wizards have a deep impression of life at Hogwarts, don’t they?”

"Besides, I've never really gotten used to Swedish food, so naturally I'm trying to recreate the taste of Hogwarts. But I only know a few dishes, so the taste should be... passable, right?"

"It tastes wonderful!" Xenophilius exclaimed. "It's so comforting to be able to eat familiar dishes while traveling in a foreign country!"

“By the way! Ms. Salu, do you know any interesting stories about this village? I happened to see you when I came here by boat today.”

"I remember you were holding white lilies, standing on the lake. You must be a wizard who is skilled in magic, right?"

"The reason I want to know this is mainly because... I'm also very curious about that magic that makes you stand on the lake."

“Oh, is that so?” Anne Salu looked somewhat surprised, but her gaze subtly swept over Vizet.

Seeing that Anne Saloo didn't intend to continue, Xenophilius coughed lightly and introduced himself.

“I’m the editor-in-chief of a newspaper. Since I’m here on vacation, of course I want to gather some material. If Ms. Salu doesn’t want to talk about it, that’s fine too. I’m just curious.”

Anne Saru waved her hand. "It's not that I can't talk about it, but this happened a long time ago, and the wizards in the village probably don't know about it anymore."

Xenophilius put down his spoon. "A long time ago?"

Vizette and Luna did similar things, putting down their cutlery.

“The Wizarding World War…you probably didn’t experience it, did you?” Anne Salu rested her chin on her hand. “Back then, a circus came to the village, a circus made up of blood cursed orcs.”

"Besides the regular magic performances, the most attractive thing is of course the shapeshifting magic. They can transform from human to beast with ease, just like the Animagus."
