"Quick, it must be those two Weasley boys! Don't let them get away!" he urged. Mrs. Lorris sniffed the lingering scent on the ground and slowly followed Ginny's departing steps.

Ginny wandered around the medal display room, which must have been enchanted with a seamless stretching spell, because the room was much larger than it appeared from the outside.

"Fred, George?"

These two questions kept echoing in her mind. Ginny felt like a prisoner being led to the execution platform, just waiting for the executioners George and Fred to speak before they would swing their axe to separate her from the diary!

However, neither of them mentioned the diary.

"Sorry I startled you." Fred slowly released her and said with a smile, "I'll explain later. Now come with us!"

Without another word, the two of them grabbed Ginny and rushed out of the medal display room, heading in one direction. As they walked, Ginny heard a sharp sound getting closer and closer.

“It’s Filch—the Hogwarts caretaker, probably the most hated person in the whole school,” Fred whispered in her ear. “Oh, and Snape too.”

“If he catches us, that would be terrible. Professor McGonagall will deduct points from our grades, which isn’t so bad, to be honest. But it would be so boring to put us in detention and make us write apologies,” George said. “Luckily, he hasn’t caught us since freshman year, right, Fred?”

“That’s right!” Fred proudly led Ginny to a witch statue. At that moment, she could hear that the caretaker named Filch seemed to be very close, and perhaps he would catch them around the corner!

"What should we do?" Ginny wasn't as panicked as before. Fred and George had indeed frightened her, but she thought they had discovered her communication with the diary.

"Of course we have a secret weapon!" Fred triumphantly drew his wand and tapped the one-eyed witch twice on the head. "Separate left and right!"

The next moment, to Ginny's astonishment, the stone statue split in the middle, revealing a dark secret passage.

"Get in quickly!"

The three people immediately crawled inside, and then the stone statue slowly closed up.

"Lumos!"

“Let’s wait here for a while.” Neither Fred nor George suggested continuing along the secret passage.

Where does this secret passage lead?

"We can't go anywhere because the road ahead is blocked," Fred lied, trying to sound casual.

“A secret—” Ginny looked at them with a scrutinizing gaze, but neither of the twins yielded. “Fine, I’m used to it anyway. Besides, who doesn’t have secrets?”

As she spoke, she subconsciously hugged the diary she was holding even tighter.

Fred and George, oblivious to her subtle actions, laughed instead: "Come on, Ginny, that's no secret! Almost everyone in the family knows you like Harry."

“Except for Ronnie!” George added.

Upon hearing this, Ginny immediately blushed.

Surprisingly, she wasn't angry at all; instead, she felt fortunate and proud: "I'm afraid you'll never know what my real secret is!"

After a while, Fred took out the Marauder's Map when Ginny wasn't paying attention to him, quickly glanced at it, and then put it away.

"Alright, let's go. Filch has gone to the sixth floor now. Peepi is hanging out with him and might be causing him trouble," he said gloatingly.
