Saiyans in the Naruto world

"Boom."

Naruto summoned a small toad, explained the situation to it, and then dispelled the summoning jutsu. The rest of the time was simply a matter of waiting.

"Naruto, do you want to go to Mount Myōboku?"

Instead of the reverse summoning, Karot and Naruto were greeted by Jiraiya.

"Yes, you lecherous sage. I want to go to Mount Myōboku to learn the arts of the sages."

Naruto made no attempt to hide anything from Jiraiya.

Upon hearing Naruto's answer, Jiraiya looked at Karot, recalling his conversation with the Toad Sage the previous night.

Last night, Jiraiya was looking for writing material when he was summoned by Fukasaku. The toad sage had woken up and had something to tell him.

"Jiraiya, a variable has appeared beside the Child of Destiny. I can no longer see how the ninja world will develop in the future. You must teach the Child of Destiny well, Jiraiya."

After saying that, the Toad Sage fell asleep again. This is why Jiraiya came here immediately after hearing that Naruto was going to Mount Myōboku.

"Carrot, may I talk to you?"

Jiraiya is now eager to speak with Carrot.

"Okay, where to?"

"Let's go to the Hokage Rock! Naruto, you wait here for us."

After giving Naruto some instructions, Jiraiya left first, with Karot following closely behind. Before long, the two arrived at the Hokage Rock.

“Karot, Naruto is my disciple. He will become a reformer of the ninja world and bring peace to it. I don’t want him to stray from the path I have planned for him because of your misguided guidance.”

Jiraiya said to Carrot.

"He just wants to become stronger. Have you ever asked Naruto if the path you've planned is what he wants? Naruto has always wanted other people's approval. Have you ever asked him if he's tired of it?"

Karot's words made Jiraiya fall into deep thought. He had completely ignored Naruto's feelings from beginning to end.

"Isn't it too early for you to have Naruto learn Sage Mode now?"

"Early? You've been through two Shinobi World Wars. Have you lost your mind? Why haven't you taught him Sage Mode all these years?"

"The Akatsuki organization is eyeing the Tailed Beasts, and Naruto has an uncontrollable time bomb inside him. If we don't teach him some trump cards, how many Akatsuki members can you stop?"

Karot then launched into a tirade against Jiraiya. "He's only been traveling the ninja world for years, he hasn't taught him any techniques!"

"This, this."

This is the truth, and Jiraiya could not refute it.

"Then I'll speak with Fukasaku and ask him to let Naruto go to Mount Myōboku."

After saying that, Jiraiya left feeling embarrassed. He had originally wanted to tell Karot not to interfere too much with Naruto, but he was persuaded by Karot instead.

"Boom."

Naruto appeared at Mount Myōboku.

"Naruto, welcome to Mt. Myoboku."

Fukasaku welcomed them. Immediately afterward, Carrot sensed Naruto's aura and teleported over.

"This is Mount Myoboku. The natural energy here is so rich."

"The natural energy of Mount Myōboku is several times, even dozens of times, greater than that of the outside world," Carrot exclaimed. "It truly is a blessed land."

"Naruto, I'll be in charge of your training from now on. As for Carrot, you're free to move around!"

Fukasaku knew that Carrot was the variable that the Toad Sage had mentioned, so he wouldn't interfere too much with Carrot's actions.

Carrot acted like a tourist, looking around and touching everything. He had a great time and even took a bath when he had a spare moment. Naruto, on the other hand, fared much worse, being whipped with a wooden stick by Fukasaku every now and then.

"Pah, pah."

Every sound is a painful memory.

"Honey, Naruto, Carrot, dinner's ready."

"It is Shima who has spoken," Shima called out.

Looking at the densely packed insect feast, both Carrot and Naruto were about to suffer from trypophobia.

"Naruto, Karot, you should eat more."

Since it was rare for someone to visit Mount Myoboku, Master Shima brought out his best dishes to entertain them.

Karot and Naruto swallowed hard; just looking at the still-wriggling worm sent chills down their spines.

"Oh, I just remembered, Lady Tsunade asked me to come see her at noon. Excuse me."

Carrot teleported away from Mount Myōboku.

“Carrot, you…”

Before Naruto could finish speaking, Karot had already vanished. Naruto wasn't angry that Karot had deserted, but rather that Karot hadn't taken him along.

"Naruto, is it possible that my cooking isn't good?"

Shima Sage stared at Naruto with a gloomy expression, as if Naruto would die if he dared to say no.

"No, I love Shima-sensei's cooking the most."

After saying that, he forced the insect in front of him to swallow, not daring to bite it, afraid that he would vomit.

"Eat more if you like."

When Shima saw Naruto eating his food, he quickly helped Naruto pick up more food.

Looking at the huge plate full of food in front of him, Naruto felt an urge to die. His hatred for Karot for not helping him intensified.

Chapter 72 The Showdown with Kai

Kakashi and Might Guy are having a Jonin match, arm wrestling.

"brush."

Carrot suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Startled, Matt Kai screamed, causing him to lose the match.

"Hi, how are you guys?"

When Carrot saw the scene where he appeared, there were quite a few people, including Kakashi, Might Guy, Rock Lee, Neji, and Tenten.

"who are you?"

Might Guy was wary of the person who had suddenly appeared. What were the intentions of this powerful but unknown individual who had come to Konoha?

"I'm just a ninja who was passing by. I saw you guys having a match, so I came over to watch."

Carrot was lying with a straight face.

"Do you think I would believe it?"

Matt Kai gave me a look that said, "Do you think I'm stupid? You actually believe that kind of nonsense?"

"Oh, Kai, you don't believe what I say anymore? I'm so disappointed."

Carrot said with a pained and troubled expression.

"Who are you? How do you know my name?"

Might Guy looked puzzled, which only made Carrot want to tease him even more.

"Alright, Carrot. Stop teasing Kai."

Kakashi spoke up. He couldn't bear to see his best friend being mocked by Karot.

"Kakashi, do you know him?"

"Yes, I recognize him. He's a Konoha ninja."

Kakashi didn't reveal Carrot's identity, as Carrot's agility was terrifying. With Kakashi's assurance, Might Guy also lowered his guard against Carrot.

Seeing that there was nothing left to play, Carrot asked.

"You're going to have an arm wrestling match?"

"Yes. It's very interesting."

Might Guy nodded and said, "You two elite Jonin of Konoha are wasting your time arm wrestling. No wonder people say, 'Konoha Jonin compete with pots and pans, while Genin compete with world-destroying feats.'"

"Then let's have a match, Kai!"

Carrot also wanted to see the strength of the Leaf Village's Blue Wolves.

"Okay."

Matt Kai agreed.

The two stood with their hands on the wooden blocks, clasped together, and at Kakashi's command, they exerted their strength simultaneously.

Kai tried his best to pry Carrot's wrist, but his strength was like a stone sinking into the sea, having no effect whatsoever, while Carrot said with a relaxed expression.

"Push harder!"

Matt Kai had never been treated like this before.
