Jiraiya wanted to argue, but Tsunade stopped him.

"Carrot, will you still be able to go back?"

"Yes, but it will take some time."

"Okay, then I'll have Naruto stay with you for a while, since you're more familiar with him."

"Ok."

Carrot knew that Tsunade had placed Naruto by his side to monitor him, but Carrot wouldn't do anything to harm Konoha, and he would return when the time was up.

"Naruto, why don't you go out for a walk with Karot?"

"Yes, Granny Tsunade."

After Karot and Naruto left, only Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Kakashi remained in the room.

"Jiraiya, do you believe it?"

Jiraiya thought for a moment and said.

"If it weren't for Naruto's explanation, I wouldn't believe it either. So how should we deal with him? He's very strong."

"Kakashi, what do you think?"

Tsunade isn't very good at things that require thinking, but she knows how to ask others, which is a good thing.

"Let's focus on monitoring him! As long as he doesn't do anything to harm Konoha, we don't need to impose too many restrictions on him."

Kakashi found it hard to accept this new older brother, yet he also wanted to get closer to him, his emotions fluctuating wildly.

"Alright then! Keep an eye on things."

"Yes, Hokage-sama."

Kakashi was the most suitable person present to carry out this mission.

"Carrot, let's go get some ramen!"

Naruto wandered around the streets with Karot until he got hungry and spoke up.

"Great! I'd also like to try Ichiraku Ramen from your world. Let's see which one tastes better."

Carrot happily agreed to Naruto's suggestion. The two of them cheerfully entered Ichiraku Ramen.

"Uncle Ichiraku, two bowls of ramen."

"Hey, calamus."

The father and daughter looked up and saw Naruto and Karot walk in. However, Ichiro's face was full of wariness as Karot eagerly called out his daughter's name. It was like, "This pig is trying to steal my cabbage."

"Welcome, Naruto. And who is this?"

Ayame greeted Naruto warmly, and then asked a question.

“My friend Carrot, I brought him here to try this most delicious food.”

"Thank you, Naruto, for helping us attract business."

Then two bowls of ramen were placed in front of Carrot and Naruto.

"I'm starting." X2

Two bowls of ramen were emptied in no time.

"one more bowl."

Carrot said, holding up the empty bowl.

"I'll have another bowl, too."

Naruto immediately followed, his incredible competitive spirit erupting at that moment.

By the fifth bowl, Naruto's pace had noticeably slowed, and by the seventh bowl, he was completely unable to eat anymore. Karot, however, seemed unaffected. His eyes narrowed, as if to say something.

"You little karami, you think you can compete with me?"

Twenty bowls, thirty bowls, fifty bowls—this isn't Carrot's limit, but Ichiraku's limit; the ingredients are gone.

"Wow, that's amazing."

As soon as he entered, he saw Carrot and Naruto having a ramen-making contest, and Choji Akimichi exclaimed in admiration. His eyes lit up like a fan seeing their idol. He wanted to ask Carrot why he could eat so much and still not gain weight.

Ino and Shikamaru were simply shocked; how could this child eat so much?

"Naruto, pay up."

Carrot waved his hand and said that he hadn't spent any money since arriving in this timeline; Naruto had always been the boss.

Naruto pulled out his little toad wallet and a wry smile appeared on his face.

"Oh no, I only have enough money for two bowls of noodles."

Naruto now regrets it; he shouldn't have let his competitive spirit get the better of him.

Seeing that Naruto hadn't paid yet, Carrot couldn't help but look at him, winking repeatedly. He thought to himself...

"Are you out of money? Are you going to dine and dash?"

"Naruto, you're here! I've been looking for you for so long."

Jiraiya entered, drawing back the curtain. Naruto's sorrow turned to joy.

"You lecherous immortal, you've come at the right time. I forgot to bring in the laundry at home, and I need to hurry back. Could you pay for my noodles?"

"Uncle Ichiraku, give me change for the noodles, Master Jiraiya."

After Naruto finished speaking, he grabbed Karot's hand and immediately ran away. As he ran, he thanked Jiraiya-sama for his generosity.

When Jiraiya heard Naruto call him "Lord Jiraiya," he knew he was in trouble. Every time Naruto didn't call him "Perverted Sage," he was trying to trick him. He turned to run, but Ichiraku, holding a sword, exuded a strong killing intent. If Jiraiya dared to leave without paying, Ichiraku would chop him up.

"Naruto, you just wait."

Jiraiya's roar echoed throughout the entire street.

Chapter 71 Mount Myōboku

Nighttime, at Naruto Uzumaki's house.

Naruto's house was too small, so Karot had to sleep on the floor. The Third Hokage was really greedy; he replaced Minato and his wife's villa with a slum.

"Carrot, do you know how to train in Sage Mode?"

Unable to sleep, Naruto lay in bed and asked a question. Having experienced time travel, he now knew his own strength was insufficient, and Minato's Sage Mode had shown Naruto a way forward.

"I know!"

"Then can you teach me?"

Naruto turned over and looked at Karot.

"Why go to the far and wide when you already have a great treasure within yourself?"

Carrot asked, puzzled.

"You mean the Nine-Tails?"

Naruto touched his stomach and said.

"Yes, it's the Nine-Tails. It was specially left for you by Minato-senpai. He wanted you to control the Nine-Tails' power."

"But right now, I can't control the Nine-Tails' immense power at all."

"Alright, I'll teach you Sage Mode tomorrow. It's too late tonight, I want to sleep."

Carrot yawned. He then ignored Naruto's excitement.

Before long, the moon set and the sun rose. The next morning, Naruto excitedly got up early and pulled the still-sleeping Carrot out of bed.
