Saiyans in the Naruto world

After enduring for another half month, Uchiha Shisui finally made his request to Karot.

"Oh, why are you challenging me, Shisui?"

Carrot asked the question, but what he was really thinking was...

"Could it be that I went too far in shirking my responsibilities? Shisui wants to go on strike. Should I tone it down a bit in the future, do some administrative work, and coax him properly? Kids can be coaxed away with a little coaxing."

Carrot also became interested in Shisui's challenge, wanting to witness Shisui's "Kotoamatsukami," hailed as the strongest genjutsu in the ninja world. Most importantly, Carrot was incredibly bored. He wanted to stretch his muscles, and Shisui was the only person in the entire camp he could get his hands dirty.

The two arrived at a deserted open space.

"Let's begin, Shisui."

Carrot fully demonstrated his love for children.

"it is good."

Shisui didn't refuse and immediately took action, forming hand seals to activate the ninjutsu, splitting into several individuals. It wasn't a clone technique, nor a shadow clone technique; the physical entity could switch freely between the individuals. This was Shisui's Body Flicker Technique.

"Watch out, Senior Carrot."

Shisui didn't hesitate either, swarming forward. Their sharp blades relentlessly attacked Carrot's vital points.

Carrot infused the air into his index finger.

"Dang, Dang, Dang."

They continuously blocked Shisui's attacks.

"Is this Carrot-senpai's bloodline limit?"

The fact that Carrot possessed a bloodline limit became widely known when he killed the Eight-Tails. This was also the first time Shisui had seen it, and his glowing index finger blocked all of his killing attacks.

Seeing that he had not harmed Carrot, Shisui jumped backward and formed hand seals in the air.

"Fire Release: The Technique of Fireballs".

A huge fireball came crashing down on Carrot from mid-air.

Carrot opened his palm and fired an energy ball, shattering Shisui's large fireball.

"No hand seals needed. That would make my ninjutsu release a step slower than his."

Shisui fought while simultaneously devising a countermeasure.

Suddenly, the tadpole-like pupils in Shisui's Sharingan began to spin, and the scene before Carrot's eyes began to change. Shisui's figure disappeared, and all sorts of delicious food appeared before him, the aroma constantly tempting Carrot. This was Carrot's first experience with illusion magic, and he wanted to test it out to see what made illusion magic different.

The illusion not only affects his vision and his sense of smell, but also works through a hypnotic brain, making you believe that what you see is real.

"I really don't want to leave here."

Carrot muttered to himself, "Although the genjutsu has affected my vision, it's easy for me to leave if I want to. Disrupting the caster's chakra flow is all I need to break the ninjutsu. And finding the caster is simple, because everyone's aura is different; Carrot can easily locate him."

Chapter 45 The war is over

Having said that, Carrot took a step forward and placed one hand on Uchiha Shisui's shoulder.

"Shisui, that's enough for now!"

Uchiha Shisui couldn't believe the changes before his eyes. He had clearly been under his own genjutsu, so why did the genjutsu suddenly appear behind him?

Uchiha Shisui's sudden kneeling puzzled Karot greatly.

“Still water, what does this mean?”

"Senior, you should be aware of the predicament of the Uchiha clan, right?"

Carlo nodded. The Uchiha clan was ostracized by all the other clans in Konoha, most notably the "Gang of Four" who constantly suppressed their interests. Danzo was particularly active, believing himself to have inherited the Second Hokage's ideology, and he both feared and wanted to eliminate the Uchiha clan.

Having figured out the key to the team's success, Carrot spoke up.

"Then you shouldn't have chosen me. Your clan leader has a close relationship with Minato, and Minato is a strong contender for the next Hokage."

"I suspect that Fugaku has pinned his bets on Minato."

"Yes, our clan chief has no other choice. He can only place his bet on Senior Minato."

"But Minato's foundation is too shallow. His chances of success are not very high."

Shisui's analysis was correct; if Karot hadn't read the script, he would have made the same guess. If Orochimaru hadn't dropped this bombshell, it's uncertain whether Minato would have become Hokage.

"So, why did you choose me?"

Carrot asked, since he had neither shown any desire for the Hokage position nor held any official post or power, and he was unclear why Shisui had chosen him.

“Senior Karot, your father is the White Fang of Konoha, with countless disciples and former subordinates, and a very high reputation. You and your brother Kakashi are also geniuses of Konoha.”

"The most crucial thing is your strength. With your strength, you don't need to worry about the Uchiha clan rebelling. Just like Hashirama Senju never worried about the Uchiha clan rebelling, he could suppress them with one hand."

"I am so sure," Shizuku said. This sudden show of loyalty caught Carrot completely off guard.

The Uchiha clan are the best subordinates; if you can subdue them, they'll be utterly loyal. But the key issue is that Karot has no ambition to become Hokage. He's currently cooperating with Orochimaru to see what changes Orochimaru would bring to the ninja world if he became Hokage. Simply following the original trajectory of the Naruto world no longer satisfies Karot.

"Are you representing the Uchiha clan or Shisui?"

Having one lackey is different from having a whole group of lackeys. Using the Uchiha clan to support Orochimaru's election would greatly increase his chances of success. Karot couldn't help but feel secretly pleased.

"This, this."

Uchiha Shisui found it difficult to say. Could he tell Karot that this was a decision he made on a whim? Wouldn't that give Karot an unreliable impression?

Seeing Shisui's reaction, Carrot knew that Shisui had thought he could attract followers from all sides by displaying his domineering aura. In the end, he could only fool a child.

"Yes."

This means that Shisui and the Uchiha clan will never have anything to do with each other again, and he has abandoned his clan.

And so, Carrot gained his first underling.

One day, news exploded throughout the ninja world: the Third Raikage had died in battle. When Karot learned of this, he knew the Third Shinobi World War was about to end. The Iwakage had paid a heavy price, dragging down the Third Raikage, and would inevitably withdraw from the battlefield to lick its wounds in seclusion. The Kumogakure had lost its strongest fighting force and no longer had the strength to continue fighting. The Kirigakure had lost the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, and their only thought now was how to redeem them. In short, it was a complete mess. However, none of this concerned Karot. He spent his days playing, leaving all the work to his underlings, living a very comfortable life.

However, Karot's good days were numbered. Konoha issued an order for Karot to return to the village. This was because a truce had been reached at the Mist Ninja border, and such a large ninja force had suffered heavy losses; therefore, Karot was ordered to lead his troops back to the village.

When Karot announced the order to the crowd, everyone erupted in cheers. They knew the war was over, Konoha had finally won, and they would no longer have to live in constant fear while guarding the border; they could go back alive and reunite with their families.

As they arrived at the village entrance, they were warmly welcomed by the spontaneously organized villagers. When Karot led them into the village, a loud cheer erupted, celebrating the return of their hero. This was the respect that every Konoha ninja deserved. Villagers searched for their children, husbands, and wives in the crowd.

Carrot saw his father immediately. His father looked at Carrot with a smile, his eyes filled with joy. A young child could finally soar freely in the sky.

"All departments are free to disband. I'll go to the Hokage Building to report the situation."

"Yes, Lord Hatake."

"Lord Carrot, let's have a drink together when you're halfway through your business. It's a pity we couldn't have a drink together on the battlefield. Now that we're back, you can't let us down."

"Yes, yes, Lord Carrot."

Carrot's strength was recognized at the Fog Shadow Border, and they held him in high esteem. Furthermore, Carrot was easy to get along with, so they all got along well. After all, they had fought side-by-side, one of the three ironclad brothers.

"Lord Hokage, I'm back."

Karot addressed the Hokage.

"Well done, Carrot. You did an excellent job capturing the four dead members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and retrieving their swords. Like father, like son."

Yuan Fei's praise came at Carrot in a torrent, leaving him somewhat overwhelmed. If he didn't know the Hokage's true character, he would have been deceived by his kind demeanor.

"Thank you for your praise, Hokage-sama. It is all I should do. I will always remember your teachings, learn the Will of Fire, and protect Konoha."

Anyone can act, so Carrot portrayed himself as a passionate young man, someone who would sacrifice himself for Konoha. This left Hiruzen Sarutobi completely stunned.
