Ultraman Legend of the Light Chaser

That was on the vast ocean, where the ancient continents were connected as one, and the ocean was also connected as one, both of which were unprecedentedly vast and boundless.
The giants who once fought here have long since departed, for those who needed them chose "dreams." Light is always willing to help those with high spirits; the zigzag blooms, its pollen carried by the wind, and a golden mist drifts in, bringing sweet dreams and taking away people's will and vitality.
No one wanted to help their "teammate" who remained stuck in his own world, unwilling to let go. The aliens who were watching the situation thought the same way; they were waiting for the giants to leave so they could grab their share of the spoils first.
But one "monster" didn't come along; it was neither a servant of darkness nor ever accepted by people. Compared to the terrifying creature, who wouldn't prefer to believe in the warm, light-filled giant?
But it remained, and the aliens thought it was probably a monster with intellectual disabilities.
Until they launched their attack and tore through the defenses of the guard regiment, the Earthlings' delusion was finally shattered—the monster had protected the giant's statue and gathered some determined people to guard their former positions, as if the giants had not left and the guard regiment was still a powerful force that silenced the aliens.
That was the final "last gasp," and the Earthlings were even able to push the battle line to the seaside. The stone statues left behind by the giants were revived one after another at the call of their former human hosts. When countless bodies surrounded by light reappeared, at that moment... it seemed that the eternal night was about to end.
Flames burned on the sea, and snowflakes of light drifted from the sky.
The scorching flames swirled with howling winds, and the snow was mixed with thick, gooey blood—blood from monsters and aliens—causing the seawater to boil, but the rising steam was driven away and burned away by the intense heat.
The monster held a piece of fluorite in its mouth, clear and transparent, its radiance weaving feathers beneath its scales. The aliens had never seen such a contradictory entity, a grotesque demon and a sacred god fused together at this moment.
That monster certainly has a name, passed down from the mouths of Earthlings. No one knows its meaning, because the story of its true origin is told in another world, while in this world... it is not yet time for it to be born.
“Samuel,” the Reicuran murmured.
Nanase Makoto had no idea why a religious name would suddenly pop out of his mouth.
Thunder
The Qiulan aliens naturally wouldn't explain to him. He only knew that the monster was coming again, tearing through the thick, dense clouds once more and breaking into the starry sky!
I wonder if it was still holding a "tool" given to it by the giant in its mouth, a shimmering stone?
"Our spaceship, our spaceship!" The first thought of the Reicuran alien was to pilot his spaceship and escape as quickly as possible.
But he forgot that the spaceship he was using as bait and as a prison for Earthlings was currently docked at Delta Space Station. To reach his own spaceship, he would have to traverse long, winding corridors and bridges, and pass through an open deck.
The space station did not lose its vigilance. They reserved the most inconvenient and furthest docking point for the visiting Reicuran aliens. If the situation changed, the skilled ground crew would cut off contact immediately, separating the Reicuran aliens entering the space station from their spaceships.
After losing contact with five researchers and entering a state of emergency, Delta Force did not play the game of "trying to negotiate before taking action." The ground crew, decisive to the point of being somewhat cold-blooded, immediately carried out the evacuation operation.
A spaceship was pushed aside by the space station with a dull metallic clang—the one the researchers hadn't boarded, and it was about to be thrown into the range of the Bakir cannon.
The other spaceship was firmly locked in place by a robotic arm, insulated with netting, and armed with several cannons that pinpointed every vulnerable spot. Since the Reicuran aliens had taken their researchers hostage, they would turn the entire spaceship into a "hostage." Unless the Reicuran aliens chose to blow up the ship and perish together, they would eventually reach their breaking point.
Some of the TPC members come from the former defense forces. Although those who fly, run, and swim don't get along very well and call each other "idiots," they have one thing in common—due to their professional competence as executors, most of them are doing quite well, and a considerable number of them are serving as mid- to high-level cadres in the TPC.
For example, there's Tetsuji Yoshioka, the head of the police department, and the first members of the Delta Force space station to sign life-or-death contracts and go into space. Some say they act too aggressively, but when facing the enemy, they are often the most decisive.
The Raichulan aliens' "Trojan Horse" plan, in the hands of a group of so-called "naive Earthlings" who didn't value their own lives, led to an unknown outcome.
The Reicuran alien running down the corridor, trying to get back to his spaceship, never expected that the problem would ultimately arise at the space station. He initially thought that if the plan failed, it must be because his cowardly wife wasn't determined enough.
They received information about the "unknown life form" from the Kirieloids and unanimously agreed to send a willing and determined Reicuran alien to merge with it. The old logistics ship would give it a skeleton, and the willing Reicuran alien would give it knowledge and the will to attack Earth.
His wife took on the task, and he was happy and gratified.
His wife had always appeared weak, especially since their daughter was born. He once thought she was a burden to the Reicuran aliens, only good for logistical tasks. His wife probably wanted to get rid of this impression, so she mustered up her courage and took on a task that others were reluctant to ask for.
“You care so much about your daughter, aren’t you afraid of her…”
“No, I’m more afraid that she will grow up in the shadow of a weak mother,” she said. “I have always been a Rechulan alien.”
He felt that his wife’s performance was worthy of being recorded in Recuran’s travelogue. He decided to record Ligadron’s heroic act of defeating the giants and, after successfully seizing the Earth’s space station and commanding it to break through the Earth’s defenses, to commemorate his wife’s sacrifice and Recuran’s victory in the grandest way.
Chapter Forty-Seven: The truth remains unseen.
The Reicuran aliens had a good plan, but it all turned out to be a mirage.
Delta Force easily let them in, but didn't let them out easily; and his daughter... no one could have imagined that the little devil would play hide-and-seek with herself until she fell asleep in a pile of junk, only waking up when the spaceship shut down and was about to disengage from the "unknown life form".
So his good-for-nothing wife broke down, and all they heard along the way were "Save me," "I don't want to be a monster," "Save our daughter," and "I won't let you get away with this."
So shameful.
He felt his wife's performance was terrible, but when they arrived on Earth and encountered the giant monster, she became a staunch Reicuran alien... which at least salvaged some of his reputation.
This is probably what they mean by "hatred is the magic cure for turning cowards into warriors," a sentiment deeply shared by the Reicuran aliens. Many times you need a goal. The distance of hundreds of millions of kilometers from Jupiter to Earth is a bit far, but as long as you see your goal, the breakdowns of the journey will quickly be healed.
Although Ligadron did not defeat the Titan, he had done his job. If he could escape successfully, no one would blame his family.
The Raichuran aliens ran headlong down the corridor, while Nanase Makoto, left in the monitoring room, stared blankly at the approaching "monster."
An intense radiance enveloped the field of vision; it was so close, it seemed to pierce through the screen.
He felt as if he were soaking in warm water, followed by a loud bang: the closed hatch had vanished, leaving only the broken edges and a jumble of exposed wires.
The running Rechuran alien was gone; he no longer needed to expend energy opening the series of closed hatches himself. The radiant creature, like a runaway train, pressed against him along the road.
He rushed through the passage to the outer deck, towards the spaceship he so desperately wanted to live, his only hope for survival.
"boom--!"
With a deafening explosion, the "train" crashed into the Reicuran alien's spaceship. The outer shell, made of some unknown material, was easily melted, leaving a large hole with its reddish edges hanging on the outside. The hole led directly to the spaceship's most crucial power reactor.
There is a vital "jump energy" supplier for the Reicurans there, and five comatose researchers.
The entire spaceship emitted a wail of impending destruction, its mechanical arms creaking and groaning. Charred metal fragments flew from the hole, drifting into space, accompanied by bits of body tissue from the back and back of the skull of the Reicuran alien—you couldn't expect his body shell to be as tough as the Ligadron, able to withstand an impact that would render several centimeters of special steel unusable.
In fact, the fact that he can retain some consciousness is already a testament to his exceptional physical condition.
The Reicurans, who were hiding in various places and trying to get their spaceship off the space station, received an alarm that the power unit was damaged. They rushed over in a swarm, but stopped at the "cliff".
Of course, it was a "cliff." The entire structure of the power reactor had vanished. Apart from the monster's corpse, which was used as the power source and was lying in the middle, and the "glass pillar" that wrapped it, five researchers were lying haphazardly on the narrow platform extending outward from the edge of the pillar, enveloped in a faint light membrane.
Their comrades, the "steadfast Rejuran" who "watched their wives sacrifice themselves for Rejuran," were being crushed on a "glass pillar" by a black, steaming mass, their blood staining the pillar.
Considering the need for precise operations, the monster, which could shatter an entire spaceship with a single claw, reverted to the size of a human. It was exhaling scorching gas, as if it had just climbed up from the deepest lava.
“We really didn’t know you were still alive,” the Rechulan aliens said, attempting to negotiate. “We’re sorry for intruding into your territory. If I’m not mistaken, you’re a friend of the ancient humans, right? We can make a deal, for example, to bring your friends back.”
Arriving at the space station from the ground at extremely high speed always generates "some" heat. The claws of the other side, pressing against their compatriots, hiss and emit black smoke, their fine scales opening and closing with the clanging of swords clashing. The heat blowing out from them makes the Reicuran aliens sweat profusely, even through the sparse exosphere—if they have sweat glands.
"She's calling you to save her." Xiangye You didn't even glance at the group of chattering Raichulan aliens; he only stared at the one under his command, a "hero" who was still conscious, righteous, and venturing into the tiger's den.
It took the other person a while to realize he was talking about his good-for-nothing wife who had cried for help. He said in a low voice, "She finally mustered the courage to prove she was a true Reicuran alien, but she broke down when she found out our daughter was there... I should have done it, so that Ligadron could unleash its strongest fighting power. Fortunately, she performed exceptionally well in the end and salvaged the situation..."
"She knew she was dead, and her daughter was dead too. She begged you to save her child! All her pretense was just to deceive her innocent daughter!" The molten gold eyes suddenly drew closer, as if to burn through his head, and the scorching air rushed towards the face of the Reicuran alien: "Whether a person speaks from the heart or is just putting on a brave face... I can hear very clearly!"
The Reicuran alien felt every bone in his body tremble uncontrollably.
"So I want to see... what kind of person is the one who hijacked our space station and sent his wife and daughters to merge with the monster."
……
Rigdron, who was locked in battle with Ultraman Tiga, suddenly went berserk and fled out of the atmosphere.
Ignoring all attacks, it stubbornly withstood them with its tough outer skin. Its desire to "escape" was so urgent that the Zepelion Ray, originally aimed at its chest, ended up only slicing off its lower leg.
The monster, having lost its lower leg, is single-mindedly focused on flying into space.
Finally, a new sentence was added to the signals that were occasionally transmitted from the panlinguistic translator.
My dearest, my dearest... I'm sorry...
There was no one else around, and it sounded like Ligadron was confessing his love to a giant, giving Horii goosebumps.
"What kind of person?" The person held captive to the core of the power reactor by the "monster" at Delta Space Station laughed: "Of course, a qualified Reicuran alien. Not to mention my wife and children, even if my beloved parents and elders were there, I would watch them sacrifice themselves, and when the future is clear, I would offer my most heartfelt gratitude."
"What do you think you're doing? Taking their side?" he sneered. "My wife fused with the monster willingly. Saying these things is defiling her will."
"And what about your daughter?"
“You’re right that she doesn’t understand anything, but she will understand us and our cause in the future,” the Reicuran alien said.
He saw a pale blue dot rising from the Earth, a dot so familiar, so fervent, so impatient, like the flames that surged from the limbs of the Ligadron during flight, just like the propulsion of their spaceship. Because of the missing legs, the pale blue color was more vast than ever before, spreading into a semi-circle, like a soft dome, inverted over the sky.
“Ah,” he sighed, “in the end… I overestimated her.” Why not stay on Earth and fight to the death? He couldn’t understand the thoughts of the “cowardly Reicuran alien.”
"Having someone who loves you is a luxury," the Reicuran alien noticed the "monster's" molten gold eyes darken slightly as it gripped his neck.
The claws tightened: "Some people cherished you but couldn't hold on to you, and you discarded you like worn-out shoes. People of Reichuran, they overestimated you."
Chapter Forty-Eight: The Shooting Star of Longing
My dear, I'm sorry, please forgive my cowardice, but I can't lose you again.
The azure flames and tiny stars traced a curved path. The Rechulan aliens thought of how, as they circled the back of each planet, their parent star illuminated the atmosphere, and the "ignited" night was just as intense—that was the last sight they had ever seen, on the sixth planet of their solar system.
Ligadron has arrived.
It did not understand the feelings of the Reicuran alien inside it, and in an attempt to "learn," it drove its body closer to the Delta Space Station.
When it saw the person its consciousness was focused on being held captive to the core of the power reactor, the consciousness fluctuated, feeling a burning sensation within its internal organs. If it were to acquire more knowledge, it might understand the source of this heat: anger.
Let him go!
The "monster" holding his lover released his grip as instructed. He glanced this way and threw the cold corpse toward Earth. If nothing unexpected happened, it would fall and burn up in the atmosphere.
There are feelings between aliens, perhaps even stronger than between humans. But they are here to take over Earth. When Aiba Yu saw that Tiga had also arrived, he said, "You have lost, Reicuran aliens."
Ligadron let out a shrill screech, and two shadows were projected from the yellow crystal above its head, drifting toward the falling corpse—the wife's lover, the daughter's father, the "persistent" Rechulan alien.
But how can a shadow catch something real? The corpse passed right through them. They were stunned for a moment, and then Ligadron suddenly turned around and extended his grappling hook to pull the falling corpse back.
The energy emanated from the open wound on Ligadron's leg, continuously merging into the azure sparks. Yet it still caught the corpse, and two figures, one large and one small, of the Reicuran aliens surrounded it, seemingly forgetting that the enemy was right in front of them.
As Aiba Yu walked to the edge of the space station, the energy on Ligadron was no longer as overwhelming as when it first arrived on Earth. Its fate was obvious, just like the fate of every spaceship that loses power—to crash and burn.
If it had ignored the obsessions of those two consciousnesses, it might have already bypassed Tiga's defenses and emptied the energy warehouse of the Space Development Center at the Kashima Beach base.
