Detective Yugami had bloodstains on his brow bone and the corner of his mouth, while Professor Ushiwakamaru was in better condition, though he kept holding his back while walking, probably because he had strained his waist.

"Saki, where are you?" Hiroyuki Karasukawa shouted into each private room as he banged on the door with a baseball bat.

"Senior, I'm here, can you hear me?" Kyushu Seiya shouted loudly, using one hand as a megaphone.

Finally, the group found Karasu Saki in a private room with a door slightly ajar. There were axe marks on the door, and the metal latch of the door lock was deformed and twisted. It was truly a terrifying sight.

The girl in the private room was deathly pale, and she kept the art shears at the throat of a young man.

"Oops, I was careless, I've become your hostage..." Despite the blade being inches from his neck, Adachi Shin remained completely calm, instead confidently urging:

"But how long can you hold out like this? You don't really think someone can save you, do you... Ouch, ouch, ouch, don't poke me! You're so stupid to come here alone and risk your life. That Kyushu Makoto has definitely already abandoned you!"

"Shut up, shut up!" Karasu Saki was clearly wavering, and could only keep telling herself, "I just heard fighting outside, he must be coming to save me!"

"Sakifumi!" Upon hearing his daughter's voice, Hiroyuki Karasukawa immediately perked up.

The four of them worked together to ram the door, and after three minutes they finally managed to open it a crack.

Taking advantage of his small size, Kyushu Makoto was the first to squeeze into the private room through the crack in the door, looking at the two with a cold gaze.

"Are you Adachi Shin?" Kyushu Makoto sized up the young man being held hostage by the girl and asked in a deep voice.

“Kyushu-kun…!” Upon seeing the familiar figure, Karasukawa Sakifumi’s body went limp, and she was so moved that she almost cried.

"Wait, who are you?" Adachi Shin panicked and asked in astonishment, "How did you get in? Where are the Kazama Group members?"

“The Kazama Group is all dead, I’m your bastard father.” Kyushu Makoto swung an iron rod and knocked Adachi Shin unconscious.

Kyushu Makoto then moved all the furniture blocking the doorway and welcomed the other three in.

Hiroyuki Karasukawa impatiently picked up Shin Adachi and slammed him against the wall, then grabbed his daughter's shoulders, repeatedly expressing his concern:

"Are you alright? Are you hurt? I'm so sorry I'm late!"

"Thank goodness..." Karasukawa Saki breathed a weary sigh of relief, and murmured, "You guys were so slow, I thought I was going to die..."

"Can you still walk?" Kyushu Makoto stepped forward and asked with concern.

"No, my legs are too weak..." Karasu Sakifumi said dejectedly.

“Then I’ll carry you out.” Kyushu Makoto squatted down in front of her, gesturing for her to climb onto his back.

"Wait, wait a minute! Why are you carrying her?" Hiroyuki Karakawa hurriedly stepped forward to stop him: "Aren't you classmates? Are you two that close?"

"I simply made the wisest decision." Kyushu Makoto had already half-squatted down, carrying his senior on his back:

"I'm exhausted and can't fight anymore. If there are more enemies, we'll have to rely on the three of you adults."

"It's alright, Dad, let him carry me!" Karasuka Saki playfully stuck out her tongue at her father. "He's very upright, he would never take advantage of me~"

"Hmm... alright." Hiroyuki Karasukawa thought it made sense, so he could only suppress his unease and let Makoto Kyushu carry Karasukawa out of the private room.

At Kyushu Makoto's command, Karasukawa Hiroyuki found a rope, tied Adachi Shin up, and carried him away.

The four left the private room and prepared to go to the lobby to wait for the "acquaintance of a criminal investigator" that Xi Shenjian had mentioned.

Suddenly, a thug in a floral shirt darted out from around the corner of the corridor, glaring angrily at the four men and shouting, "You bastards, don't even think about leaving here alive!"

The thug was holding a black handgun, apparently he had gone to get a weapon, which is why the reinforcements were late.

Seeing this, Professor Ushiwakamaru decisively kicked over a table and hid behind it; Ken Yugami quickly spun around and hid in the next private room; Hiroyuki Karasuka used Shin Adachi as cover; and Makoto Kyushu dragged Karasuka-senpai to a corner.

"You guys..." The four men's quick reaction stunned the gangster, who stood there awkwardly, gun in hand, momentarily losing sight of his target.

At the same time, Makoto Kyushu pulled a Molotov cocktail from his pocket and silently calculated the throwing angle and distance.

Since the other side is going to use guns, there's nothing we can do but set it on fire a little.

Just as the two sides were locked in a stalemate for ten seconds, and Kyushu Makoto was about to throw a Molotov cocktail, a sudden gunshot shattered the tense atmosphere.

"Bang!" "Bang!"

Two more shots followed, and two flowers of blood bloomed on the thug's shoulder as he staggered and fell to the ground.

"Huh?" Everyone was stunned in unison.

Yugami Ken shrugged, stepped out of the cover, and casually joked, "Hey, can the police just shoot anyone now?"

As he made his sarcastic remarks, a handsome man in a suit and tie with short, center-parted hair walked out from around the corner of the corridor, holding a smoking silver pistol in his hand.

"Since the Akihabara massacre, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department has significantly reduced its restrictions on the use of firearms." The man in the suit had a very upright appearance and spoke in a very proper tone, giving people a well-mannered and polite impression.

"Besides, shooting a gangster who is carrying a controlled firearm is theoretically not against the rules."

Seeing that Detective Xishen was chatting with the man in the suit, the others slowly emerged from the cover.

"Is he the detective you were talking about?" Kyushu Makoto asked in a low voice.

“That’s right, you can just call him Officer Takagi.” Kenjiro Yuugami gave the man in the suit a thumbs-up and said casually:

"He's someone I know at the police station; he won't make things difficult for you."

As soon as he finished speaking, Officer Takagi took out a pair of silver bracelets and snapped them onto Yuugami Ken's wrist.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Yushin Ken was startled and tried to pull the handcuffs off.

"Didn't you call the police yourself?" Officer Takagi smiled calmly and patted his shoulder. "You said someone committed trespassing, so I should at least take the suspect to the police station to go through the procedures, right?"

Then, Officer Takagi instructed the other three, "You guys, please go to the police station to give a statement!"

“No problem.” Kyushu Makoto readily agreed.

He had a lot of things he wanted to discuss with the police officers, and he was afraid that the officer wouldn't take him to the station.

Shortly afterward, a group of police officers filed in, began to cordon off and investigate the scene, and sent all the gangsters who had fallen to the ground into ambulances.

The four men were symbolically handcuffed by Detective Takagi, who personally led them into the police car.

Before seeing the four off, Officer Takagi gave Detective Yuugami a wink and whispered an order:

"I will stay here to direct the scene; the rest will be handled by the police."

After saying that, he closed the car door for the four people and signaled the police officer in the driver's seat to drive off.

Yugami Ken then whispered to the other three, "Officer Takagi has already spoken to the police station. When the time comes, say what you should say, and don't say what you shouldn't say."

Meanwhile, Kazama Gotaro in the ambulance also woke up, but he was still not fully conscious.

His hands were handcuffed behind his back, rendering him unable to move an inch, and he felt a continuous, agonizing pain throughout his body.

In a daze, he felt like he had just had a strange dream.

He, a retired professional wrestler and the mainstay of the Kazama Group's fighting faction, was actually defeated by a group of four—a high school student, an izakaya owner, a history teacher, and a detective—who were all old, weak, sick, and disabled. They even destroyed one of the Kazama Group's important hideouts in Kamurocho.

Damn it, why would I have such a dream?

87. Victory Celebration Party

Inside the Kamurocho Police Station, the four individuals were detained in separate interrogation rooms for questioning.

"Officer, you're asking me if I've used violence against those gangsters?"

"I'm just a detective, and I even passed the bar exam. In short, I'm just a refined gentleman, and I absolutely have no ability to take action against the underworld."

“I’m just a high school student, how could I dare to lay a hand on gangsters? I just went in to find my classmates, and they pinned me to the ground and beat me badly. I could only put up a token resistance.”

"How could that be? I'm just a history teacher nearing retirement, I don't have that kind of strength... Ouch, my back hurts! Help me to rest!"

"Officer, don't let my criminal appearance fool you. I'm actually a stay-at-home dad who runs an izakaya (Japanese pub) in my spare time. Asking me to fight with gangsters is asking too much. I just went in to look for my daughter; they probably all got hurt in accidental falls."

The four men had already secretly prepared their statements in the police car. In the interrogation room, they each used their own methods, and after recounting the entire case, they resolutely denied that they had initiated the assault.

The KTV where the crime occurred was a shady establishment that overcharged its customers, so there were no security cameras inside. The four men disposed of all their weapons before leaving, leaving no evidence to prove what actually happened inside.

It seems that Officer Takagi had given them advance notice, because the police officers in the interrogation room didn't make things difficult for them. They just asked them all the questions they needed to know and then let them go. They even treated them to pork cutlet rice – apparently, the police station would stop providing meals to suspects after a month, and these bento boxes were the last remaining stock.

Several hours later, the four of them walked out of the police station together. The sky was already shrouded in darkness, and the brightly lit skyscrapers, arranged like towering peaks, created an artificial starry sky.

Senior student Ya Chuan has already been sent home to rest, and police officers will come to her home later to collect evidence.

As for Adachi Shin, he is currently in detention. At least during the investigation, he is unlikely to be released to continue causing harm.

"Everyone has worked so hard today. Would you like to come over for a simple meal?" Hiroyuki Karakawa stretched, his joints cracking.

"Especially Brother Jiuzhou, I really have to thank you today!"

"No, this is what I should do... On the contrary, I'm the one who feels sorry for you." Kyushu Makoto scratched his head sheepishly.

Karasukawa-senpai was partly responsible for the danger she encountered; Kyushu Makoto was merely trying to salvage the situation after the fact, while Karasukawa-san suffered even more serious injuries.

But who would turn down a free dinner?

"I couldn't very well refuse Mr. Karasawa's kind invitation," Kyushu Makoto readily agreed, "I will come."

"Isn't it only natural for the client to provide meals?" Kenjiro Yuugami's thoughts were clearly in line with Makoto Kyushu's: "I'll come too!"

"I won't stand on ceremony~" Ms. Ushiwakamaru waved her hand sheepishly and joked, "Consider it compensation for not being able to buy my granddaughter a cake~"

......

When the four arrived at Karasawa-ya, it was during the evening rush hour, and the restaurant was already quite full of customers.

Karasu Sakifumi has rested enough and is helping her mother with her work.

"Welcome, four guests!" Saki Karasu, wearing an apron, strode to the door. "Oh, you're back!"
