The two chapters released yesterday quickly received unanimous negative reviews from readers, with the main issues being "unreasonable character introductions," "indecisive actions by the protagonist," and "illogical plot points."

Actually, I didn't write these two chapters. I fell asleep while writing that day, and when I woke up, I found they were already finished and posted. I guess Laaste wrote them for me. This has absolutely nothing to do with me; I'm making this statement to let everyone know.

Today I called Kayn out and rewrote these two chapters, fixing as many logic bugs and abrupt character introductions as possible. I hope this will make everyone a little more satisfied.

The following is serious:

Lately, I don't know what's wrong with me, but I feel like there's something wrong with my brain. Every morning when I wake up, it feels like I can't produce dopamine. I have no passion for anything. The first thing I think when I turn on my computer is, "I don't want to write anymore, so let's just quit." All I want to do is play games, but then I feel nauseous while playing games, and I don't know what to do.

Writing requires passion. If I can't muster up my passion when I'm writing, I easily get stuck in a rut and can't write anything good. I can only barely follow the outline I've prepared in advance.

It might be because of my irregular sleep schedule and staying up too late. It could also be because the book's reviews were mixed, affecting my mindset. Or perhaps I've been living alone for too long, causing some mental health issues.

My top priority these past few days has been to rekindle my passion for life so I can continue writing well. First, I've been adjusting my sleep schedule, then trying to exercise more and maintain a regular lifestyle. I've also been considering applying Tiger Balm to my face to activate my Bloodrage ability while I'm writing.

Of course, updates will never stop; that's the benefit of having a habit of saving up drafts.

In short, the job of an online novelist is to create works that readers enjoy, whether it's popular or niche. This has always been my principle.

If readers are dissatisfied, the author must make corrections unless they can provide a self-justifying explanation. I believe this is something that must be done.

In the future, I will do my best to write stories that everyone will enjoy. If readers who like this book are not satisfied and offer reasonable suggestions, I am willing to spend extra time revising or rewriting it, even if it means writing fewer words and earning less money.

Goodnight everyone, I'm going to go to bed early tonight... damn it, it's already 5 AM!

85. Martial arts is the technique of using the weak to defeat the strong.

Upon noticing the arrival of the burly man with the double doors, the gangsters stopped what they were doing and retreated behind him.

"You are... Kazama Gotaro?" Detective Yugami wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and quickly recognized the other person's identity:

"The Kazama-gumi's younger brother, the boss's nephew, used to be a professional wrestler. It's said he fought in tournaments in Siam for a while, but was banned for life for using a weapon to kill his opponent. Later, he recognized the Kazama-gumi boss as his godfather and joined the yakuza... Am I right?"

"Oh ho~ So someone investigated me~" Kazama Gotaro took off his oversized suit jacket, his shirt bulging from his massive muscles, the fabric even tearing:

"They can't even beat four civilians? Is the Kazama Group really that useless?"

The gangsters hiding behind him all showed expressions of shame and embarrassment, while some glared at the four of them resentfully, as if blaming them for making them lose face.

"Bastard..." Hiroyuki Karakawa stood up, covering his mouth, blood trickling from between his fingers: "You're from the Kazama Group? Where's my daughter?!"

"Oh, that crazy girl is your daughter~" Kazama Gotaro seemed to be teasing him on purpose: "Guess~?"

Although Hiroyuki Karasukawa was nearly 1.8 meters tall, he appeared quite frail compared to Gotaro Kazama, who was 1.9 meters tall. Kazama looked down at him as if he were a child.

"You son of a bitch, give me back my daughter!" Hiroyuki Karakawa's eyes were bloodshot and he swung his fist at Gotaro Kazama.

Kazama Gotaro, however, did not dodge or evade, but instead took the blow head-on, followed by a powerful backhand swing punch in return.

"Bang!" The fist slammed straight into Hiroyuki Karakawa's face, causing his nose to bleed profusely, and he stumbled and fell to the ground.

"You look like you're involved in the underworld too. Probably some third-rate thug from the countryside, right?" Kazama Gotaro grabbed Karasukawa Hiroyuki by the neck and slammed him against the wall like trash, not forgetting to make a sarcastic remark.

"Hey, Kazama Gotaro!" Kyushu Makoto stepped forward coldly, wiping the blood from his hands: "Where's that girl? How is he now?!"

"You were the one who was yelling about killing a hundred, weren't you? I heard you all over the place." Kazama Gotaro looked down at Kyushu Makoto with the eyes of someone looking at a chick, his tone utterly contemptuous.

"If you want to find her, then go find her yourself, but you'll have to get past me first."

"She'd better not have lost a single hair, or I'll make you regret ever being born." Kyushu Makoto grinned, his eyes like those of a bloodthirsty, rabid wolf.

"Have you ever heard of the slow slicing method? It involves cutting off pieces of a prisoner's flesh one by one, continuing for three days and nights before finally killing him... If anything happens to her, I'll tear off your flesh piece by piece, slowly crush your limbs into fragments with a wheel, and then cut off your tongue... Hahaha, and finally send you to the hospital for emergency treatment, so you can live like this for the rest of your life!"

"Hmph, what arrogance! That crazy girl is fine for now, but you'll be in trouble soon~" Provoked, Kazama Gotaro sneered menacingly, his veins twisting and bulging like earthworms on his face:

"People in the underworld all care about face. You wrecked my place and then said things like that to me. I can't just pretend I didn't hear it, can I?"

The next moment, he opened his arms and attacked Kyushu Makoto in a grabbing stance.

Kazama Gotaro was like a giant; even the floor trembled with his footsteps, exuding immense pressure. According to the rules of mixed martial arts, this would be a brutal heavyweight vs. featherweight bout!

But reality isn't a fighting exhibition; there are no rules. No matter how strong a human is, they are still human, and they will inevitably have many fatal weaknesses.

Even if he trains all his muscles to be as hard as a rock, hones his will to be as strong as steel, and uses drugs to break through his physical limits... how much damage can his eyes, philtrum, throat, groin, and knees withstand?

Makoto Kyushu lowered his stance and swung his baseball bat at his opponent's kneecap, his target extremely clear.

"Bang!" The baseball bat hit the target, and Kazama Gotaro's expression turned slightly ugly.

Despite the pain, he rushed forward and gave Kyushu Makoto a bear hug, holding him tightly in his arms.

Immediately afterwards, Kazama Gotaro lifted Kyushu Makoto above his head, preparing to slam him to the ground.

Even a layman would know from this scene that Makoto Kyushu would probably be crushed on the spot, suffering broken bones or even paralysis!

"Danger!" Yugami Ken and Ushiwakamaru tried to rush forward to help, but were blocked by other yakuza thugs and had to engage in a fight with them.

Seeing that he was about to be tackled, Makoto Kyushu quickly pulled out pepper spray from his pocket and sprayed it several times in Kazama Gotaro's face.

"Ah...cough cough cough!" Kazama Gotaro decisively flung Kyushu Makoto away, but a little bit of chili mist still entered his eyes and nose, causing his eyes and nasal cavity to start burning.

When Kyushu Makoto landed, he spun and rolled to reduce some of the impact using force-dissipating techniques, but he was still hit hard on the back and felt a sharp pain.

"You despicable brat... using such vile methods!" Kazama Gotaro forced his eyes open, tears streaming down his face, which was contorted into a grimace.

"Does a scoundrel like you have the right to call others despicable?" Kyushu Makoto spat, cautiously observing his enemy. "And is that all you've got?"

"Stop looking down on me!" Kazama Gotaro wiped away his tears and charged at Kyushu Makoto with red eyes.

Pushing his palm, grabbing, swinging his fist, kicking, charging, swinging his weapon repeatedly... Despite his blurred vision, he was still like an unstoppable giant bear, savagely attacking continuously, each move seemingly aimed at crushing the boy into dust.

Kyushu Makoto no longer laughed wildly and roared, but instead, like a nimble and cunning mouse, he blocked and dodged, carefully avoiding its sharp edge.

At the same time, he would take advantage of any gaps in Kazama Gotaro's attacks to sneak a blow to his groin or knee, just like a patient and cunning old hunter.

The continuous sounds of blows echoed down the corridor as the two engaged in a fierce battle for nearly ten rounds.

This behemoth of the underworld completely overwhelmed Kyushu Makoto in physique, and every attack was incredibly powerful. Kyushu Makoto used a force-dissipating technique, but his arms were still aching and numb from blocking, and there must be large bruises under his sleeves.

If he were to take a fatal blow from his opponent head-on, Kyushu Makoto would likely lose his fighting ability on the spot, so he must be extremely cautious.

Even so, he did not believe he had no chance of defeating his opponent.

"Phew—" Kyushu Makoto let out a long sigh, kicked up a fruit knife from the ground, and gripped it tightly in his hand.

Kazama Gotaro roared and threw another punch at his face.

Kyushu Makoto dodged to the side, a fist the size of a bowl grazed his cheek, and shattered the glass door behind him like a cannonball.

Taking this opportunity, Kyushu Makoto leaned in close and stabbed Kazama Gotaro in the thigh, then twisted the blade to tear the wound open.

"Ouch—you stinky rat!" Kazama Gotaro cried out in pain, quickly retracting his stance to defend himself, intending to strike him with his knee.

Kyushu Makoto immediately blocked the knee strike with his elbow, then pulled a fruit knife from his thigh and stabbed Kazama Gotaro in the other thigh.

Immediately afterwards, he punched Kazama Gotaro in the groin, causing the latter to stagger backward and half-kneel on the ground in pain.

"Are you a woman? All you can do is hit places like this!" Kazama Gotaro's legs trembled as he stood with his thighs together, blood kept flowing from his sides, his eyes were so swollen and red that he could barely open them, and his breathing was as heavy as that of an old ox.

Kyushu Makoto was also in poor condition. The previous fierce battle had exhausted most of his strength, and his arms were so sore and numb that they were almost losing sensation. He was only able to keep going by sheer grit.

"I'm going to kill you, you despicable brat!" Kazama Gotaro was in a terrible state, but he was completely enraged, with almost no reason in his eyes. He covered his groin with his hand and limped towards Kyushu Makoto.

"Huff..." Kyushu Makoto breathed heavily, taking out the pepper spray sprayer again.

"It's not over yet, you bastard!" Just then, a figure sprang out from behind Kazama Gotaro, roaring as he lunged at him.

Hiroyuki Karasukawa had regained consciousness at some point and dealt with several yakuza thugs who were harassing him. He wrapped his arms around Gotaro Kazama's thick waist from behind, locking the behemoth in place.

"Damn it... let me go, you third-rate thug!" Kazama Gotaro tried to twist his waist and struggle, repeatedly striking Karasukawa Hiroyuki's head with his elbows.

"Hey bro, take care of him!" Hiroyuki Karasawa held onto Gotaro Kazama tightly, refusing to let go.

"Alright!" Taking this opportunity, Kyushu Makoto sprayed pepper spray forcefully into Kazama Gotaro's face.

Now, Kazama Gotaro had nowhere to hide. The intensely spicy smell, so strong it was almost unbearable, flooded his eyes, nose, and mouth, causing him to clutch his face and writhe in agony as if he were being tortured.

"Wu! Die!"

With a roar, Kyushu Makoto raised his knee and repeatedly rammed it into the opponent's groin. Then, with a flick of his wrist and a powerful step, he delivered a sweeping elbow strike straight at the opponent's chest.

"Pfft—!" Kazama Gotaro could no longer bear the pain, spitting out a mouthful of blood, his eyes rolled back and he fainted.

86. Why would I have such a dream?

After defeating the giant beast, Hiroyuki Karakawa sat down on the ground, exhausted, while Seiya Kyushu leaned against the wall. The two of them breathed a sigh of relief at the same time.

"This big guy can really take it; I almost smashed his crotch." Looking at the unconscious Kazama Gotaro, Kyushu Makoto panted and teased:

"What kind of drug did he inject? It's so potent!"

Having withstood so many fatal attacks without collapsing, Kazama Gotaro's performance can no longer be described as human.

If Wano Country weren't a society governed by the rule of law, where even self-defense makes it difficult to escape punishment for murder, Kyushu Makoto would have loved to stab this behemoth right down the throat to avoid accidentally causing a disaster.

Unfortunately, Kazama Gotaro cannot die now. He must at least be spared half his life until he spills all the information about the Kazama Group.

"Tch, you're on drugs and fighting, and you dare call yourself a third-rate yakuza..." Hiroyuki Karakawa spat at the yakuza behemoth on the ground, huffing, "That bastard's punches were pretty heavy, my head hurts... It's been so long since I've been in a fight..."

Yasukawa Hiroyuki wiped the blood from his nose and forced himself to stand up: "Brother Kyushu, hurry up and go find your daughter!"

The other two also dealt with the gangsters who were entangled with them and rushed over.
