Luffy, how can you become the Pirate King if you don't work hard!

However, a scholar can only be separated for three days.

Today's Luffy is not the Luffy of that time.

he knows.

To accurately predict an opponent's next move and position like this requires seeing a glimpse of the future.

"Oh? You actually know how to foresee the future? It seems your Observation Haki has reached the threshold of this field, kid."

The golden lion was slightly out of breath, his tone carrying a hint of surprise, but more so a condescending air of "you're quite knowledgeable, kid."

One must have pride.

Style must be maintained.

We cannot lose face in front of younger challengers.

"Is this something really that difficult?" Luffy grinned.

"If you're so capable, then show me!"

"Then let me show you!"

Before he could finish speaking, the red light in Luffy's eyes flashed intensely. He activated his Observation Haki to its fullest extent, and his figure disappeared again. The next moment, he appeared in front of Shiki, his arms swinging wildly as if they had vanished.

"Rubber Plus - Machine Gun Fires Wildly!"

Countless fist shadows poured towards the golden lion like a metal storm.

In the brief future that the Golden Lion sees, most of these punches will miss, but a few of them will strangely curve after missing, coming from an unbelievable angle, such as his back!

"A trivial skill!"

The Golden Lion snorted coldly, his two swords swirling like wheels as he prepared to defend against attacks from both the front and the back.

however.

Bang bang bang!

This time, all the punches were delivered head-on!

The barrage of attacks, like a violent storm, landed squarely on the Golden Lion's crossed swords and the hastily assembled Armament Haki defense.

"what?!"

The Golden Lion's face showed a hint of surprise; what he saw in the future was clearly not like this!

This brat interfered with my prediction?!

"I told you, you're not the only one who will see the future!"

The red dot in Luffy's pupils flashed with the same light as Shiki's, and because of his speed, it even left two eerie red trails at the corners of his eyes!

"And I might have seen even more than you!"

boom!!!

Seizing the momentary lapse in Golden Lion's judgment caused by a miscalculation, Luffy unleashed a powerful punch, shattering his defenses and striking his chest.

puff!

The golden lion suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood, and its body flew backward like a broken sack, rolling on the ground more than a dozen times before barely coming to a stop.

"Cough cough, you wretched brat."

The golden lion struggled to his feet, leaning on his sword, a sharp pain shooting through his sternum, clearly indicating a serious internal injury.

His eyes were brimming with madness and rage, but also with a hint of disbelief.

This kid's Observation Haki has actually reached this level?

And he seems to be more agile than him.

He looks like an honest kid, but he's actually good at deceiving and misleading!

"This fight will go on forever. Although I hate to admit it, a quick victory is my best option right now."

The golden lion raised his hand, grinned, and said, "I acknowledge you, kid."

"You're not bad either, uncle."

"While you can still be stubborn, if you survive this attack, whatever you say will be right. You've never heard of Conqueror's Haki before, so you've never heard of Devil Fruit Awakening either, have you?!"

The air seemed to freeze.

Immediately afterwards, everything around them began to move. Amidst the swirling wind and howling winds, the islands, hundreds of meters high, merged and overlapped one by one in the air, forming a giant lion's head.

hum!

Awakening Skill!

"I haven't used this move in a long time. Since those two bastards Roger and Rocks died, no one has had the right to force me to this extent."

The golden lion stood before the enormous lion head, grinning and saying, "Feel honored!"

Awakening a Devil Fruit is something not everyone can do!

Why is he called a legendary pirate?

He possesses all the power that top-tier experts have.

Three colors, so powerful!

Conqueror's Haki envelops you!

Fruit Awakening!

But as expected, one can't deny the effects of aging. Before he could even unleash his attack, the Golden Lion's face had already turned pale.

"I also want to thank you, Straw Hat Boy! You've made my long-lost passion boil again!"

"Same here, sir, please don't die!"

Luffy said without any politeness, and the steam around him suddenly turned pure white, swirling and rising like a white cloud of flames. His hair also turned snow-white, and strange patterns appeared on his skin.

Fifth Gear - Nika Mode!

"What is this? Didn't you eat a rubber fruit?"

As Shiki looked at Luffy's drastically changed appearance, his pupils suddenly contracted, wondering if he was hallucinating due to his head injury!

He had never seen this form and aura before!

It is neither a simple development of the Gum-Gum Fruit nor a transformation like any known Zoan-type Devil Fruit.

Anyone who didn't know better would think he had eaten a mythical beast.

Isn't it only Zoan-type users who can transform?

The Golden Lion is called the Golden Lion not because he can transform into a lion, but because his various moves are geared towards that.

Previously, the giant and imposing tattoos on Shiki were somewhat acceptable, but Luffy's appearance clearly shows the flames and clouds that only come from awakened Zoan-type Devil Fruits.

Is your Gum-Gum Fruit really not a Mythical Zoan-type?

Chapter 248 I'll bring you back to reality!

The sky seemed to have been torn in two by two completely different and terrifying forces.

On one side is a gigantic lion's head, forcibly pieced together from several floating islands, ferocious and terrifying, its gaping maw brimming with a chilling power.

The power of the Float-Float Fruit awakens!

Under normal circumstances, Shiki can make non-living objects he touches escape gravity. When developed to the extreme, he can even manipulate and change the shape of the invisible and intangible air itself to a certain extent.

The awakening of Paramecia-type Devil Fruits affects the surrounding terrain. The Float-Float Fruit alters the existence of things, including the air, compressing them together. This is the path taken by the vast majority of Paramecia-type Devil Fruit awakenings.

As far as I can remember, one of Roger's junior crew members had a similar awakening form to him; who knows if he copied it.

but,

"Your awakening seems completely unrelated to our Paramecia-type Devil Fruits; it's just a change in form. You can't withstand this attack."

Below the lion's head, the golden lion hovered and grinned, "Don't let this rare battle end badly for me."

He has squeezed every last drop out of them!

His long, golden hair appeared even more wild against the backdrop of bloodstains seeping through his kimono, and his eyes were an unnatural crimson, a result of excessive consumption of physical strength and domineering aura.

"Uncle, your era is over,"

Entering Nikka form, Luffy was surrounded by white flame clouds. At some point, his body began to be wrapped in tangible, leaping lightning. The white steam flame clouds and the black and red Conqueror's Haki intertwined to form a violent vortex, leaving Luffy in a surging illusion. A pair of reddened eyes could be vaguely seen.

"I'll bring you back to reality!"

"Hahaha, you're still a long way off, kid!"

A torrent of black and red Conqueror's Haki cascaded down Luffy's massive body like a waterfall.

The scene in the sky was drastically altered, resembling hell. Two demons faced off across the void, their mere presence enough to suffocate any creature beneath the sky—a pressure that transcended the level of ordinary life.

In fact, many people can't even look at this level of fighting, let alone get involved.

In the distance, the Sunny Horizon was engaged in fierce combat with the remaining air fleet of the Golden Lion.

Zoro had just cleaved an enemy ship that was trying to ram him with his sword when he was violently hit by the aftershocks of the collision between the two huge torrents in front of him. He groaned and plunged the Wado Ichimonji deep into the deck to steady himself, cold sweat beading on his forehead.

"Is this what a battle at the level of the Four Emperors is like?"

Although not quite, they are not far off.

Zoro gazed at the hellish scene in the sky ahead, his eyes fixed on the center of the battlefield. "We've only gone a little deeper, and some people have already fainted."

Just as he said, the Golden Lion's subordinates around him seemed to have rarely experienced their captain unleashing such a full-force Conqueror's Haki. Many of those who were slightly weaker were directly knocked unconscious by the intertwined aftershocks of the Conqueror's Haki, and fell from the sky along with their ships.

This was merely the aftershock of the confrontation between two powerful figures.

"Isn't the title of 'Legendary Pirate' a bit too much?"

Usopp clung tightly to the mast, his face deathly pale, and screamed as if his heart was about to leap out of his chest.

In the center of the battlefield, two invisible torrents collided once more as their gazes met intensely. After entangled for a moment, they suddenly dispersed, instantly clearing a small patch of the sky that had been gloomy due to the convergence of energy. However, the cleared patch was then swallowed up by an even larger cloud of energy.
