"I don't have anyone I dislike."

"You're really... amazing."

The Gods' Fool - The Last Knight: Chapter Thirty-Two, Necessary Violence (Bonus Chapter 4/5)

And so, while grumbling, Constantine led Igris to the vicinity of the police station.

Of course, they didn't go to the police station, but instead went to a small cabin next door and opened the door leading to the basement.

"So secretive?"

"To prevent being targeted and wiped out in one fell swoop... There are many exits below, so if any emergency occurs, we can escape quickly instead of being trapped down there."

He was fairly familiar with this place, having spent quite a bit of time here over the past few days. There was also a road leading directly to the Special Investigations Division from the police station, though it was a bit of a detour, so Constantine simply led Igris through the main entrance.

After descending the steps, they hadn't gone far when an iron gate appeared before them, and a man was sitting by the gate peeling an apple.

Constantine frowned, seemingly having some kind of conflict with the man, and ignored him, pushing open the door to go inside.

But unexpectedly, the iron gate was locked.

"Did you lock the door?"

Constantine turned to look at the man peeling the apple with a helpless expression. The man glanced at Constantine, then looked at Igris following behind and snorted.

"You think just anyone can come here? Take your people and get out of here. You're not welcome here."

“...Alex asked me to bring her here.”

Constantine suppressed his anger and explained to the man that, after all, the key was in his hands, and they would have to get the key to open the door if they wanted to go in.

"You think you can use your older sister to intimidate me?"

The man slammed the apple down, and in an instant, the fruit knife in his hand was pointed at Constantine and pressed against his neck.

"I'm telling you, you guys, I hate this kind of relationship the most! You think you can get in and become an official just because you have some connections? No way!"

Constantine said nothing, but coldly grabbed his wrist and stared intently into his eyes.

"Then kill me. What kind of skill is it to put on airs here?"

Constantine wasn't someone with connections, but his background was indeed questionable. He was a cult leader who should have been in prison, but he was granted special permission to intern at the Special Investigations Department. This made many people dissatisfied with him, and no one believed that he had truly earned recognition through his own abilities.

You think I wouldn't dare?

The man's expression turned fierce, and an undisguised ferocity flashed in his eyes.

But it was interrupted by a crisp sound.

Igris crouched down, picked up a crowbar that shouldn't have been there from a corner, and tried swinging it.

After all, there was a door that couldn't be opened in front of her, so it's reasonable for her to find a crowbar, right?

clang!

Iglesias smashed the lock on the iron gate to pieces, kicked it open, turned to look at the two people who had been attracted by the commotion, and smiled slightly.

"Sorry, I'm a little impatient."

"These are the people you brought?"

The man shoved Constantine aside, the fruit knife in his hand coldly pointing at Igris.

"No matter who you are, once you're here, you'd better behave yourself, or I won't hesitate to slash your face."

Igris touched her face and frowned slightly in displeasure.

What did she do to offend him? Why did he look at her with displeasure from the moment he came up to her?

Constantine pushed the man aside, stood in front of Igris, and separated the two of them.

"I'm warning you, show her some respect."

"Respect? I've never even known how to write that word in my entire life!"

Igris patted Constantine on the shoulder and slowly walked over to his side.

"Has he always been like this?"

Constantine paused for a moment, then nodded slightly.

"Indeed...that's how it is."

"Oh…"

Actually, Igris is quite vengeful.

Therefore, she remembers everyone who speaks ill of her and rarely forgets them.

That includes the person in front of me.

“Alex doesn’t seem to have disciplined you properly, but that’s okay, I’ll teach you what respect is.”

Igris shook the crowbar in her hand and slowly approached the man.

Constantine wanted to say something, but after thinking about it, he remained silent.

No one should die.

"Huh?! What did you say?! Are you looking for death?!"

The man instantly flew into a rage, rushing over and grabbing Igris by the collar, but she countered by pressing down on his wrist and kicking him away.

The man, losing his balance, instinctively leaned backward, but before he could regain his balance, Igris had already raised the crowbar in her hand and brought it down heavily!

Boom!

"Ahhh!"

A terrifying thud was heard, and the man instantly clutched his head, collapsing to the ground and curling up into a ball.

But Igris rushed forward without hesitation, kicking him in the back and mercilessly lashing his body with the crowbar in her hand.

"Weren't you so arrogant just now? Get up! Get up and keep fighting!"

The crowbar struck the man's body again and again, causing his body to tremble uncontrollably, and his wailing echoed throughout the basement.

"Stop fighting! Stop fighting! I was wrong! It was my older sister who told me to cause trouble for you! Stop fighting!"

Seeing the man's miserable appearance, Constantine hesitated for a moment, but still cautiously called out to Igris.

“Hey, Igris, that’s enough. If we keep going, he’ll die.”

"Tsk."

Igris clicked her tongue, threw the crowbar in her hand at him, and even kicked him again, still not satisfied, before finally turning to look at Constantine.

"I hate people who grab other people's collars without permission."

Constantine didn't dare to speak, but just looked at the man curled up on the ground and suddenly felt a chill run down his spine.

"Stop looking (I didn't kill him), didn't he just say something? It was Sister Zero who told him to do this, and the 'Sister Zero' he mentioned is Alex, right?"

Igris thought for a moment, then picked up the crowbar again, casually swinging it around as she turned to Constantine and asked.

"It seems that guy has a lot of opinions about me."

"You probably can't beat her..."

Constantine added "should" because he was also a little unsure.

Igris seems to be a little stronger than before.

"I'm not here to fight her."

Somewhat speechless, Igris hoisted the crowbar onto her shoulder and glanced at the man who still hadn't gotten up.

"What's his name?"

"Di-zai, that's what they all call him, he doesn't have a real name."

"Hey, if you're still alive, make a sound."

In response to Igris's call, Dizi lay on the ground and weakly groaned.

"These three things are to teach you a lesson, so that you'll show him more respect in the future. Otherwise, I don't mind coming back to beat you up again, do you hear me?"

He hummed again, seemingly understanding.

"let's go."

Igris waved to Constantine and then walked forward on her own.

Constantine remained silent for a moment, then obediently followed behind her.

He hadn't originally planned to ask Igris to help her get revenge, but it seems she... did it anyway.

Should I buy her another gift...?

Not far along, the corridor became wider and more lively.

Many people were sitting in their seats chatting or doing their own things, but upon seeing Constantine, they all unconsciously suppressed their smiles.

It's clear that he's very popular.

Where is Alex?

Despite his embarrassment, Constantine still asked the question to the crowd.

No one answered him; everyone pretended not to hear and turned to do their own thing. Not a single person spoke.

This is normal, so Constantine is also going to look for it himself.

But Igris had no intention of doing that.

"Should I ask again? Where is Alex?"

All eyes were drawn to Igris, and many marveled at her beauty, but still no one answered her.

No need to think about it anymore, it's probably Alex's doing again.

Igris' patience is limited.

clang!

Igor slammed the crowbar in her hand onto the table in front of her, causing everyone's hearts to tighten and their eyes to turn to the crowbar in her hand.
