Hermione turned to look at Dolly, her eyes filled with a teasing gaze.

Dolly puffed out her chest and said, "I'm already Luna's senior, why can't I call Luna 'little girl'?"

"Fine, whatever you want, but judging from her appearance, she definitely won't get a share of our Ravenclaw."

Hermione shrugged, not saying the rest of her sentence; she thought Luna didn't seem very bright.

In fact, most people think so too, after all, Luna just looks a bit strange.

The Sorting Ceremony went smoothly, and Dolly soon saw Colin Crevey, the unlucky guy from the original story.

Colin is the young photographer who loves photography and idolizes Harry. In the original book, he was petrified by the Basilisk and almost died as a result.

Of course, that's not the worst of it.

He joined Harry's DA, or Dumbledore's Army, at the age of 14, and was the last to die in the Battle of Hogwarts, becoming one of the few casualties in that battle.

In addition, his younger brother Dennis Crevy will join Hogwarts next year and will join Dumbledore's Army with his brother in the future. He will eventually be killed by the Death Eaters.

Isn't this kind of experience unlucky?

Dolly wasn't particularly familiar with or attached to them, but if possible, she wanted to prevent the brothers from going down the same old path.

In addition, there's Ginny Weasley, who was sorted into Gryffindor along with Colin.

Everyone applauded them, including Dolly.

However, Dolly's attention was still focused on Luna, and because of Dolly's attention, many people were also looking at Luna, waiting for the Sorting Hat's answer.

To everyone's surprise, the Sorting Hat gave its answer the moment it touched Luna.

"Ravenclaw!"

Almost without thinking, Luna is a natural Ravenclaw.

152 Luna, the loner

Ravenclaw erupted in applause, showing no sign that anyone was bullying Luna.

Luna even seemed quite popular; the moment she sat down, the students around her started talking to her.

However, just a few seconds later, everyone's expressions became somewhat strange.

For example, someone asked Luna, "My favorite is the vegetable and meat tart. I had it at the Three Brooms Bar not long ago, and it came with a garden salad."

"And you, what's your favorite food?"

Chicken stew.

Luna answered truthfully that it was her mother's specialty.

Moreover, since her mother left, Luna has never had the chance to taste that familiar flavor again.

Since Luna's father's cooking skills were only enough to keep the two of them from starving, Xenophilius Lovegood would never even consider taking Luna out to eat.

Moreover, given his erratic behavior, whether or not the restaurant would allow him in was a big question.

"I saw you were wearing a ring woven from grass leaves. What is that? Is it some kind of lucky charm?"

Another girl looked at Luna curiously; Luna had just taken off her grass ring to put on the Sorting Hat properly.

When someone asked, Luna took out the grass ring that had been folded into a ball and said happily, "This is a headband woven from valerian, which can fight off trembling maggots."

“I’m worried that the trembling maggots will interfere with my sorting process because I really want to come to Ravenclaw.”

"By the way, do you know what a trembling maggot is?"

Upon seeing the tattered headband that Luna pulled out, the girl next to her already wore an expression of keeping her distance.

When Luna wanted to talk about such a bizarre topic as trembling maggots, he quickly waved his hand, pretending to be hungry, and took the initiative to interrupt the conversation.

Luna was a little disappointed. She had knitted these herself, and she had several more in her suitcase that she had planned to give to her roommates.

They didn't seem very interested.

Seeing that no one was talking to her anymore, Luna lowered her head and started eating.

The Hogwarts meal was incredibly delicious for her, but she had a small appetite and was full after only a few bites.

At that moment, she noticed that the girls around her were looking into the distance in surprise.

It turned out that Dolly was surrounded by a mountain of food, and people from Ravenclaw and neighboring houses were constantly feeding her.

Everyone was chatting and laughing, and this scene was already commonplace for them. Only Hermione took the initiative to help Dolly choose what to feed her.

Because she felt that even if Dolly wanted to eat more, she should pay attention to a balanced diet, rather than eating the whole roasted chicken that the red-haired twins brought over.

"Who is she? Why is she eating so much? Won't she get a stomachache?"

“I know, I know, she seems to be a wizard from a Muggle family, but she is Harry Potter’s sister.”

"That famous Harry Potter?"

"Yes, it's Harry Potter who was absent today!"

The crowd murmured amongst themselves, and the well-informed students shared Dolly's story.

In reality, they didn't know much, because most of what Dolly did was unknown to the older students at Hogwarts, let alone these first-year students who had just enrolled.

Most of the students at Hogwarts basically only know that Dolly was attacked by a troll, then defeated Quirrell to protect Harry, and finally passed several puzzles—somewhat less than her brother.

However, this does not stop them from describing Dolly as a clever, beautiful, frail, and incredibly voracious girl.

"I know her."

Luna couldn't help but speak up at this point, saying, "She was an apprentice at Ollivander's shop, and she learned to make wands by hand. She even personally chose my wand. Aren't you the same?"

The group exchanged bewildered glances. As first-year students, they had naturally seen Dolly when they bought their wands.

Having Dolly personally help her choose a wand was a unique experience.

Some girls even showed expressions of envy and resentment, saying, "Maybe you're just unlucky. We were all chosen with Mr. Ollivander's help."

"Although Miss Dursley is very... excellent, she can't possibly be better than Mr. Ollivander, can she?"

Luna stared blankly at the girl, finding it hard to comprehend the girl's complex emotions.

The girl met Luna's bright silver eyes and felt a moment of panic and shame, but seeing that Luna did not make any further moves or retaliate, she immediately became angry again.

It was as if their fragile exterior had been punctured, revealing their inner jealousy and envy, which made them furious and embarrassed.

This logic is like an ordinary girl saying she knows a big star, only to be instinctively ridiculed by those around her.

"Alright, Miss Lovegood, we already know what you're saying, or do you know some more secrets?"

The girl continued speaking, and Luna could only silently shake her head; she and Dolly were indeed not very familiar with each other.

As for the fact that Luna and Dolly are magically attracted to each other, and that her wand wants to bring the two of them together, Luna isn't one to speak without thinking; she's just straightforward.

So Luna naturally wouldn't reveal such a secret involving Dolly's body and magic, and simply remained silent.

Luna's silence was interpreted as a lie and a sign of disappointment after her attempt to curry favor with celebrities was exposed, leading to her being subtly isolated.

If Dolly could see all this, she would understand that basic social interaction at the very beginning is a very important step.

In just a few words, people can quickly understand each other's personality and preferences, forming an initial impression in the shortest amount of time.

Of course, this impression doesn't last long.

The real test comes after dormitory assignments and classroom performance, and unfortunately, Luna doesn't have much of an advantage in these areas either.

The banquet ended quickly.

Dumbledore continued to order the prefects to lead the new students to their respective dormitories, so they could learn the way and the rules and regulations of Hogwarts.

During this process, the senior students will continue to wait in the auditorium, making way for the freshmen in the walkways and lounges.

Dolly, of course, wouldn't break this rule, especially since she wanted to see Harry.

So Dolly came to Luna's side, smiled, and said, "Long time no see, Luna."

Luna smiled happily. Although she wasn't angry because others were isolating her, the feeling of unhappiness was real.

Seeing her familiar friend, who could even be considered her first friend since childhood, Luna was naturally very happy.

“Yes, it’s been a long time, Dursley… Dolly.”

Luna originally wanted to say Miss Dursley, but after Dolly glared at her with feigned anger, Luna immediately changed her mind.

Dolly then continued, "Next, I'm going to check on my good-for-nothing brother; he's caused quite a bit of trouble."

"If you need any help with your life or studies in the future, just come to me. My name is written on the dormitory door."

"Also, I wish you all a wonderful first year. Goodbye."

Dolly didn't forget to greet everyone; otherwise, only talking to Luna would make Luna seem too special.

Even though Dolly did this, the first-year wizards around Luna were still captivated by Dolly's lively and adorable waving and turning movements.

But even after Dolly left, they remained curious about the relationship between Luna and Dolly, and even began to whisper among themselves.

Some people couldn't help but ask, "Luna, I've called you that too. You really only met her once?"

"Yes, only once," Luna answered honestly.

The girl immediately replied, "Impossible. I've seen her before, and I introduced myself to her. Why didn't she greet me?"

"She greeted us, all of us."

One boy answered with a silly grin, which earned him a few eye rolls from the little witches.

The little witches were clearly better able to understand the difference between Dolly and Luna, while the little wizards were still lost in Dolly's smile.

This led to the other little witches having their own topic of conversation, namely, the relationship between Luna and Dolly.

However, Luna herself could not participate in this topic and could only follow along in silence.

Next came the basic welcoming process for new students at Ravenclaw School. The prefect slightly modified the speech prepared by the previous prefect, adding his own personal touch.

After that, he led Luna and the others into the Ravenclaw common room, and Luna soon found Dory's dormitory.

Their dormitory was located above Dolly and the others; it was a room vacated by previous graduates.
