Dust Tribulation paused slightly, his gaze becoming somewhat strange.

He remembered saying he was only in his early twenties, right? Even if it was just his age in this life, had Walter forgotten? That shouldn't be the case.

Suddenly, Walter, who had witnessed the change in Dust's expression, realized what was happening and gave a wry smile.

"Welcome to the Starry Sky Train, Mr. Dust Tribulation."

"Because of your language skills and attitude towards others, it's hard for me to imagine that this is something a young person could have cultivated."

"And what young people have in abundance is a spirit of adventure."

Dust Calamity chuckled, "Mr. Walter, you flatter me. There's not much I can do on the space station. I might as well take advantage of my youth to go out and see more of the world; it will also benefit my experiments."

"I don't like tedious experiments; I prefer the passion and excitement of life."

"I also want to see the scenery from all over the world."

These words made March 7th's eyes widen in astonishment.

"Dust Tribulation, you sound so cultured. Why don't you teach us? So Dan Heng won't keep looking at us with those strange eyes!"

Upon hearing this, the smiles on the faces of Chen Jie and Welt froze slightly.

Chapter 26 A new journey

"Really? Then I'll try my best."

Chen Jie smiled awkwardly but politely; March 7th really did have a somewhat difficult feel to it.

Walter seemed to understand very well what being entangled with March like this meant; it wasn't exactly troublesome, just a bit tedious.

"Since we need to help Himeko upgrade her railgun, I'll take Mr. Chenjie on the train first. In March, you should check with Danheng to see if the necessary supplies have been replenished."

"Alright then, by the way, Chen Jie, could you help us upgrade the camera? With your intelligence, you should be able to upgrade it quickly, right?"

Chen Jie, who had just lifted his foot, paused slightly, then slowly took the camera that March 7th handed him.

"I will. A camera shouldn't take too long; it should be ready today, since I have other things to do."

"Yay! Thanks a lot! I'm going to find Xing now!"

Watching March 7th skip and hop away like a happy child, something seemed to come to mind, and a smile unconsciously appeared on my face.

Walter kept this in mind. "Mr. Dustfall, there are some rules on the train that I'd like to inform you of in advance."

"Everyone on the train has some secrets they don't want to tell anyone. There's no such thing as 'special' on the train; everyone is just an anonymous passenger."

"Secondly, the train conductor is called 'Pam,' a rabbit-like creature who is responsible for the train's operation and the travel experience of the pioneers."

"However, I believe Mr. Dustfall will get along well with Pam."

Dust followed behind, listening silently without uttering a single word, a fact that earned Walter's nod of agreement.

They don't interrupt, and they listen with the attitude of a scholar. Anyone would get along well with someone like that, right?

As the train doors opened and Dust Robber boarded, he saw Pam diligently sweeping the floor, with a mop beside her.

“Walter, passenger, what brings you back? And with someone? Carrying a suitcase? Pa…”

Hearing the noise, Pam turned around and, upon seeing the unfamiliar Dustfall, instinctively asked a question.

"Does he also want to be an anonymous visitor?"

At this moment, Chen Jie suddenly stepped forward, a smile on his face. "Hello, train conductor, Mr. Walter has just explained everything regarding the train."

"I think it's better for me to introduce myself, so I won't trouble Mr. Walter."

"My name is Alph Dust, a researcher from Azure Star. I came to the Black Tower Space Station at the invitation of the authorities, and in the end, wanting to see the wonders of the universe, I chose to board the Star Train."

Pam stopped what she was doing and carefully examined the Dust Calamity.

She lacks the naiveté of Little March and the aloofness of Dan Heng, but possesses a more profound knowledge than Walter and the passion of Himeko.

It seems there's going to be a very interesting passenger on the train.

Pam's expression and tone immediately softened.

"Alright then, since Walter has already explained the train rules to you, I won't go into detail. If you need anything or encounter any difficulties on the train, feel free to come to me, Pa."

"As for the room, there are plenty of empty rooms on the train. Just pick one, and I'll clean it for you afterwards, Pa."

Cleaning for me? What a great deal!

Chen Jie's eyes lit up. "Thank you so much, Mr. Train Conductor."

Pam blushed, turned slightly, coughed lightly, and continued cleaning as if she hadn't heard.

"It seems Mr. Dustfall gets along well with Pam. Then come with me, the train's rooms are this way."

"Since we're all partners from now on, I won't use honorifics anymore. Dust Calamity, do you have any needs for your room?"

Walter didn't look back, continuing to lead the way, seemingly knowing what the answer to the Dust Calamity was.

"Mr. Walter should know very well that I want a large room."

Hearing the laughter behind him, Walter shook his head and sighed slightly.

Sure enough, when researchers were asked about their room size requirements, larger rooms were the obvious priority, which might put Pam in a difficult position next.

Soon, Walter led Dust to a room filled with some miscellaneous items.

According to the memories of Dust Tribulation, this room is four times the size of March 7th's room, but it seems to be mostly used for storing miscellaneous items. There is a plain gray bed in the corner, indicating that it has not been used for a long time.

"I think this room should meet your needs."

After speaking, Walter turned around and subconsciously looked at the briefcase that Dust had been holding.

"I don't know why, but I have a strange feeling of familiarity with your briefcase. May I ask if it contains your usual research materials?"

Hmm? Familiar?

Dust Tribulation showed slight surprise. "Huh? I never needed to bring any experimental data with me; I can easily memorize that kind of thing."

"This box contains a rare artifact that I obtained from the Black Tower. I believe that reforging this artifact might be very suitable for Miss Himeko."

For some reason, alarm bells began to ring in Walter's mind, and that eerie sense of familiarity grew stronger.

"Would Mr. Walter like to take a look?"

Dust's words were like opening Pandora's box, but reason told Walter that he shouldn't look, no matter from any angle.

"No, no, I'll take you to the location where Himeko's railgun is stored."

Seeing Walter's unwavering refusal and his immediate departure from the room, Dustfall felt a slight disappointment.

As he said, he had lived too long and hated immersive, tedious experiments, preferring a lively atmosphere.

"It's alright. As long as I'm still in the vehicle, the brilliance of this weapon will one day shine again."

"Himeko Murata, Walter's student at MIT"

"I wonder if Mr. Walter will be reminded of the past when this familiar scene reappears?"

Silently thinking to himself, Dust followed Walter for quite some time, arriving at the rear of the train, where many things were stored.

It was mostly sealed food, with a few other things as well, but Dust Tribulation didn't examine them closely because Welt was still moving forward.

Soon, the two arrived at a somewhat cramped section of the cabin, where a large, rectangular "iron block" was placed in front of them, so large that it was difficult to even see through the cracks.

Dust Calamity's eyes lit up. "So that's how it is. The railgun is stored at the rear of the Star Train after it retracts, and then released when needed by opening the hatch."

"I was still wondering how this railgun, if it was hovering around the train, managed to keep up with the train that was jumping around. It turns out it's stored there."

At this moment, Walter turned around and looked at Dustfall.

"I suppose you've already figured out what this is."

"All I know is that this is Himeko's railgun; I'll leave the rest of the instructions on how to operate and upgrade it to my own devices."

Upon hearing this, Chen Jie smiled nonchalantly.

"It's no trouble at all, it just might require Walter and the others to bring the materials I need from the space station."

Chapter 27 Godfall Sword

"Finally, finally we're done moving! We're all exhausted!"

On March 7th, her little face was flushed, and she kept fanning herself with her little hands. Xing was doing the same thing, imitating her.

Even Dan Heng was panting heavily from exhaustion, which made Chen Jie chuckle.

"Thank you for your hard work. By the way, have you put my things in my room?"

"The things in the room?" March 7th's face stiffened, as if she had thought of something terrible, and the blush on her face began to fade.

Dan Heng hurriedly spoke up, "Station Master Está has asked Alan and the others to help move it in."

"Alan? Oh, I see. Okay then, is there anything I can help you with? Like upgrading some electronic devices or something?"

"For example, the camera from March 7th."

"Hey! You finally remembered to upgrade our camera! Hurry, is it done yet? The pretty girl can't wait!"

With a shameless grin, Chen Jie pulled out the camera he had asked for earlier. "Not yet, I was just waiting to ask together."

Then he saw a cell phone, an earphone, and looked up to see Xing and Danheng with blank expressions.

Chen Jie was slightly taken aback. "Uh, no, no problem. Just leave it here. I'll get it ready for you before you rest tonight."

"Write down all your upgrade needs, and I will do my best."

Xing and Danheng walked to the side, watching Danheng write and write. Xing scratched his head and said something, and then Chenjie saw Danheng staring at Xing in astonishment.

Having witnessed everything, Chen Jie clearly knew that Xing was just following the trend. She was still too young to even understand how to use a mobile phone properly, so how would she know what to update?

"Hehe, Dust Calamity, I heard from Uncle Yang that this box of yours contains a rare item you got from the Black Tower. What kind of rare item is it? Can you open it and let me see?"

Dust Calamity paused for a moment, then beamed with joy. "This is my return gift to you, Himeko. She shared the data on her molecular chainsaw, small satellite, and this orbital cannon with me without reservation."

"Out of courtesy, I should reciprocate."

As he spoke, Chen Jie opened the silver briefcase.
