The back gate of Xavier's Estate.

Charles and Eric stood at the doorway, watching a black sedan slowly drive away, their expressions contrasting.

Charles's expression was still quite complicated.

Regardless, these were people I had personally recruited and spent so much time with; I never imagined I would have to personally send them away now.

Eric, on the other hand, remained expressionless, showing no change in his demeanor.

“Charles, you’ve erased her memories, haven’t you?”

As the black sedan drove further and further away, Eric suddenly remembered something and asked Charles beside him in a serious tone.

“Good heavens! Eric! She’s a child we’ve known for months, she’s not an enemy!” Charles said to Eric, utterly speechless.

Charles never uses his abilities on his own people, let alone something as heinous as erasing memories.

“No, she’s not like that right now. You’ve seen how she treats Shaw.” Eric shook his head.

"So what? Just because of this, she'll help Shaw against us? Eric, you're worrying too much!"

"I'm just taking precautions."

“Eric, listen to what you’re saying. If we do whatever we want because we’re worried about things that haven’t happened and will never happen, how are we any different from Shaw?”

“Charles, that’s your problem. You always think too highly of things.”

"But you always think the worst!"

A faint smell of gunpowder permeated the air.

Charles and Eric looked at each other, both feeling somewhat helpless and troubled.

In fact, similar arguments had occurred between the two of them more than once, and each time, they were unable to convince each other.

"Rorschach, what do you think?"

Eric didn't bother to waste any more words with Charles; he knew it was pointless. Instead, he looked at Rorschach and asked him a question.

After learning about Rorschach's activities at the CIA base, the two men's attitudes toward him changed once again.

Although Rorschach was still very young, they all regarded him as someone of their own generation.

Some decisions were made in conjunction with Rorschach, turning the original duo into a trio.

As for Charles and Eric's high regard for Rorschach, none of the other mutants questioned it; it was all rightfully Rorschach's.

“Charles, I think Eric is right, you’re too idealistic,” Rorschach said to Charles after thinking for a moment.

Eric couldn't help but smile; he hadn't misjudged Rorschach after all.

“But Eric, I think Charles is right too, you’re being too pessimistic,” Krosha quickly added.

Eric's shark-like smile froze instantly.

"Hahaha!"

Charles couldn't help but burst out laughing. "Eric, you heard that, I didn't say that."

"So, Rorschach, you disagree with neither Charles nor me. If you were in my shoes, what would you do?"

Eric suppressed his shark-like smile and asked Rorschach seriously.

"To put it another way, Charles, I will share your ideals for the world, but at the same time, I will make some necessary preparations to prevent the negative situation that Eric sees."

Simply put, it means hoping for the best while preparing for the worst!

Luo Xia thought for a moment and then truthfully expressed his thoughts.

Charles and Eric both fell into deep thought.

Rorschach could be said to have combined the thinking habits of the two of them, but neither of them could have done it.

After all, putting yourself in someone else's shoes is easier said than done.

It is very difficult to change a person's personality and thoughts.

"So, how exactly do you intend to deal with the angels?"

Eric's voice rang out again, with an air of determination to get to the bottom of things.

“I will erase the angel’s memory, I’m sorry Charles, but this time I’ve made the same choice as Eric.”

Luo Xia replied without hesitation, "Many times, it's not about what the angels do; if someone wants to get information from the angels, they don't even need the angels to speak."

Don't assume that the information angels know is unimportant; in fact, quite the opposite is true.

The angels not only knew the true location of the future mutant academy, but also had a thorough understanding of the abilities of several elders, all of which could be used to their advantage.

Take, for example, the elderly Stryker. He had always heard rumors about the mutant academy but could never find this mysterious place. In the end, he got the information from Magneto.

He immediately led his men to attack the Mutant Academy!

If it weren't for Wolverine guarding the school, Stryker would probably have captured all the mutants there.

Eric's expression softened with relief.

Charles couldn't help but wonder if Eric had led Rorschach astray.

"Alright, it's time to go back. We still have a lot more to work up our sleeves!"

Eric called out to Charles and Rorschach, then returned to Xavier Manor first.

On the extremely spacious playground, Mystique Raven, Beast Hank, Darwin, Siren, and a host of other mutants had already gathered, waiting to begin receiving Charles's "training."

"OK!"

Charles clapped his hands.

He glanced at the young people present and found that their spirits and energy were completely different from before.

I'm still very satisfied.

It seems that everyone has grown to some extent after what happened with the Black Emperor.

"Let me see what each of you is capable of right now. Don't be shy, take turns."

"After I understand your situation, I will create a training plan for you individually. Who wants to go first?"

Charles glanced at the young faces in front of him and asked expectantly.

Among the young mutants, some were eager to try, while others looked embarrassed, but in any case, no one could escape it.

Finally, one by one, they demonstrated their current abilities in front of Charles and the others.

Charles couldn't help but scratch his head in disbelief.

He knew everyone had a terrible grasp of his abilities, but he hadn't expected them to be this bad. This comparison only highlighted Rorschach's uniqueness.

Charles still finds it hard to believe that the other party could control his abilities so perfectly.

Even Eric can't do this now.

"Well, everyone's situation is really... hard to explain."

Charles carefully considered his words and tried to use a more euphemistic term.

Before he could say anything more, Charles suddenly sensed something and clapped his hands. "OK, that's enough for today. Meet here at the same time tomorrow."

The young mutants dispersed, but Eric and Rorschach stayed behind.

Because Charles gave them both a wink.

Chapter 033 The Man Waiting for Rorschach

"Charles, what's wrong?"

Eric walked up to Charles and asked in a questioning tone.

"Mora is here."

Charles told Eric and Rorschach that he had sensed Mora's arrival.

Eric's expression turned serious.

Since Mora has come, it means the CIA has already made a decision.

The group exchanged glances, said nothing more, and went to the door to escort Mora into Charles's room.

"As we expected, the CIA has disbanded our organization, and from now on, you have no further connection with the CIA."

After everyone was seated, Mora spoke to them with a solemn expression.

This result was not unexpected.

The CIA really did abandon everyone.

“Fine!” Eric shrugged. “It doesn’t change anything, and besides, we didn’t need the CIA anyway.”

"how about you?"

Charles looked at Mora and asked.

During his time working with Mora at the CIA, Charles developed feelings for her that went beyond friendship.

"They said it was because of my suggestion that the CIA suffered such losses, so now... I've been suspended."

Mora deliberately spoke in a lighthearted tone, but she couldn't hide the disappointment in her heart.

"When something goes wrong, they always find someone to take the blame. That's exactly how those people are," Charles said, speaking up for Mora.

However, even so, there's not much we can do right now.

"Let's not talk about that anymore. So, what are your plans for the future?"

Mora clapped her hands, changed the subject, and looked at everyone to ask.

“In fact, we’re planning something big. We’re going to give Shaw a surprise,” Charles said with a meaningful smile.

Then he told Mora about everyone's plans.

After hearing this, Mora immediately expressed her desire to join in.

Even though the CIA suspended her from her post, it did nothing to deter Mora from continuing her investigation of Shaw.

She used to worry that she was outnumbered and powerless, but now her worries have become unnecessary.
