Let's start over, Your Majesty.

Chapter 88 Female President

Chapter 88 Female President
Botanical Garden.

"Hey."

Yumilia moved a large, brightly colored pot of flowers onto the sun stand, adjusted its orientation and spacing, and after feeling satisfied, she breathed a sigh of relief and wiped the sweat from her forehead.

"Phew, finally finished."

After these flowers have grown for a while longer, they can be transplanted to outdoor botanical gardens for people to enjoy.

Yumilia now works in Greenhouse No. 3, where seedlings of rare and exotic flowers are cultivated. When she first arrived, she was just an assistant to the nursery master and could only do odd jobs.

But in less than a month, she was promoted to a permanent position and is now in charge of a greenhouse and manages a small team of three people.

Although she was tired every day, she felt a great sense of satisfaction when she saw the flower buds bloom under her care and the tourists who admired them.

"Teacher Yumilia, I've prepared the fertilizer and left it here."

Her assistant, a college student with braided pigtails, brought in a bag of fertilizer and called out to her.

“Thank you for your help, Shani,” Yumilia said to her.
This graduate of the Royal Capital Agricultural University had actually arrived even earlier than Yumilia, but had never had the chance to be officially hired. Initially, she distrusted this elf girl who looked even younger than her own sister.
However, after seeing Yumilia's expertise in botany, which was on par with her university professors, she was ultimately convinced.

Moreover, Yumilia's understanding of plants is not limited to book knowledge at all. It seems to be an innate sense of symbiosis. In Shani's own words, it's as if she can talk to plants. She can understand the habits, needs and growth process of a plant with just a simple touch.

No wonder she was promoted so quickly; the elf is simply a born botanist.

So Shani went from distrusting her at the beginning to now calling her "teacher" all the time.

Yumilia was initially embarrassed to hear Shani call her that, but now she's gotten used to it.

"Hmm, let me see. I haven't written today's breeding log yet. Sigh, that guy Mellen, he just scribbled something down again." Shani said with a sigh as she flipped through the greenhouse log.

“It’s alright, I’ll fix it in a bit,” Yumilia said. “Shani, you should go home too. All that’s left for today is disinfecting the seedlings, you can leave that to me.”

“No need, I’ll be idle when I get back. Besides, we’re the assistants, Professor Yumilia, but you always take on all the chores. Look, it’s making Mellen slack off every day,” Shani said.
"It's necessary to show some seniority once in a while,"

"The authority of a senior," Yumilia tilted her head.

“Yeah, for example, when Myron tries to slack off again, just go up and slap him across the face. Oh, if you think you can’t hit him, I can do it,” Shani said with a smile.

“This…” Yumilia chuckled awkwardly, “is too violent.”

"Without rules, there can be no order; this is a famous saying of Emperor Rean," Shani said earnestly, arms crossed.

Like many young people, Shani often quotes the emperor's famous sayings, and can be considered a fan of the empire.

Yumilia could only smile helplessly at this, after all, she was really not good at lecturing people.

“My son Caesar used to be very difficult to manage. I often tried to discipline him, but sometimes it backfired,” Yumilia said.

"It's because you're so gentle, teacher. Sigh, if anyone had a mother as gentle and lovely as you, it would be the happiest thing in the world," Shani said, shrugging.

Sometimes she was quite jealous of Yumilia's Caesar, whom she often talked about. Was he adopted by such a perfect elven mother? Did he save the world in his past life?
The two worked together to finish the remaining work. After Shani finished writing in her work log, she said goodbye and left for the day, while Yumilia was still checking the growth of several flower buds. Just as she was squatting in front of a pot of flower buds to observe the branches and leaves, she felt footsteps approaching from behind.

She assumed it was Shani who had returned, and casually asked:
"Shani, is there anything else you forgot to take?"

But there was no response from behind.

She then turned her head and saw that standing behind her was a woman with short black hair, dressed in a smart business suit, standing there staring intently at her.

Seeing Yumilia turn around, the woman's tense face twitched slightly, and then she gave her an embarrassed smile.

"Dude, what did you do to make Xia run away without attending class again?"

On the way home from school, Leon couldn't help but ask him.

"How would I know?" Caesar muttered.

Today's events left him puzzled about the secret behind Sia. What had happened to this girl that made her react as if she had PTSD?

They arrived at the tram stop, and Leon chatted with him casually.

"By the way, how's your Gugu Tea business coming along?" Leon asked.

"I submitted an application to the Youth Patent Fund, but haven't received a reply yet." Caesar shrugged.

“Of course, it’s very difficult for an ordinary person like you to get one without a recommendation letter from someone in the business world,” Leon said. “But you could try asking Tess; she might be able to get you a recommendation letter from her grandfather.”

Just as Caesar was about to answer, a white Volkswagen Foton Motor pulled up in front of them.
In the capital city, cars from the Foton brand are considered luxury cars, with the cheapest model costing over 20 yuan. Their presence here attracted the attention of many passersby.

Caesar hadn't paid much attention and was about to reply to Leon when he was surprised to see the car door open and Yumilia jump out.
“Caesar!” Yumilia ran to his side and took his hand.

"What's wrong with you?" Caesar looked at her in surprise, then at the luxury car in front of him.

“Oh, Caesar, come here, this is Aunt Caroline. She owns the botanical garden where I work,” Yumilia said, pointing into the car.

Caesar looked over and saw a woman with short black hair, wearing a dark red business suit, step out of the car.

From her appearance, Caesar could sense the sophistication of a strong woman. Although she looked well-maintained, the nasolabial folds on both sides of her nose betrayed her true age.

She stepped out of the car and smiled gently at Caesar: "Hello, you must be the Caesar that Yumilia mentioned? What a handsome young man."

"Hello," Caesar greeted her with a slight frown.

Caroline, that name seemed familiar to him.

He quickly remembered that this was the female president of the luxury brand Romaneco that Tess had mentioned before.
