Let's start over, Your Majesty.

Chapter 239 "Date" Invitation

Chapter 239 "Date" Invitation

"Crack."

Ita sullenly plunged the knife into the steak on the plate, then gripped the handle and chopped it piece by piece, as if he had a grudge against the tender and juicy steak, the tip of the knife making a grating sound on the plate.

The servants around him were all silent, not daring to utter a single word.

"What's wrong with the head of the family? I've seen her like this ever since she came back yesterday. Has someone offended her?"

At the restaurant entrance, Delina looked at Ita inside and whispered to Doruvan, "What do you mean?"

"Don't you understand the head of the family? If anyone really provokes her, they might be burned to ashes in the next second. Why would she hold onto her resentment until now?" Doruvan said calmly.

"That is."

Dorwan coughed lightly: "Master, you've grown up, it's normal to have some adult worries."

"Ah," Dalina seemed to understand.

"Is that Young Master Caesar?"

Doruvan gestured for her to be quiet, and Delina shut up and stepped back.

At that moment, a sound of shattering porcelain echoed through the restaurant; the plate had finally cracked under Ita's force.
"Tsk." Ita tossed his knife and fork aside in annoyance.
"I have no appetite today, I'm not eating."

She got up and left.

The surrounding servants quickly came forward to tidy up.

“Master, the blueprints for the dye factory in the northern district of Drendin have been delivered and require your approval. Also, the connecting corridor docks…” Doruvan stepped forward and said.

"Okay, okay, just send everything over together." Ita waved her hand impatiently.

"Go tell the next three companies to submit their district administrative analysis reports for the previous quarter by the end of this week. I've already processed them."

"Yes."

Ita returned to her office and saw the mountain of work piled up, her face darkening further.

"These were all left unfinished some time ago."

Although I have much less work now than I did in Durandin, it's all because I've been playing around and focusing more on Caesar that I've accumulated so much.

This was even with Delina and Doruvan doing part of the work for her.

"So annoying, I just want to burn it all down."

Ita muttered to himself, but still obediently sat down and picked up a document to begin reviewing.

A short while later, Delina knocked on the door.

"Master of the house."

"what happened again?"

"Young Master Caesar has arrived."

Ita raised her head, opened her mouth as if to say something, but then turned her head away sharply.

"not see!"

"Huh? Why? That's young master Caesar!" Delina asked in surprise.

Normally, when this young master hears Caesar is coming, he would jump and skip to greet him, but today he is being so forceful.

He seems genuinely angry.

"I said I won't see you, and that means I won't! Humph!"

Ita said forcefully.

Even though she already has someone of her own, she's still so close to Muirna. She wants Caesar to know that she's not a woman who's easily fooled, and that he has to apologize properly!

If I don't coax myself a little, I won't forgive him!
Delina glanced at Ita and tentatively asked, "Then, should I go and tell him?"

"Go!"

Delina is gone.

Ita regretted it almost as soon as she left.

Wait a minute, even if I wanted to apologize, I couldn't just avoid him and never see him, could I?
And what if Caesar misunderstands it as something else?
Only by communicating properly face-to-face can we make things clearer.

Ita hesitated for a moment, then finally put down her pen and ran out.

I slowed down after running a few steps; I had to make myself look really angry.

She made a resentful face, turned her head away, and walked towards the door in a strange manner, refusing to look at where she was going.

As she walked, she pondered her lines. But when she reached the front door, she found it empty; Delina had just returned.

"Master, is there anything I can help you with?" she asked.

Ita walked past her, glancing left and right towards the doorway, then looked at her: "Where's Caesar?"

Delina's lips twitched:
He left when he heard you weren't going anywhere.

"He...he just left?" Ita was stunned.

"Um,"

No, no, even in his condition, didn't Caesar consider what might have happened? And then rushed over anxiously to check on him?

Why did you leave like that?
"Did Caesar leave without saying anything?" Ita asked.

"Well, to be more tactful, I said that you were in a bad mood and didn't want to see anyone for the time being, so he told you to take care of yourself and then left."

"Gone?"

"Oh, and he said he went to the Institute of Ecology to see Professor Muirner. If you need anything, you can go there to find him."

As Dalina spoke, she noticed that her master's expression had worsened.

Caesar slowly walked into the greenhouse and was immediately surrounded by the humid and warm air.

After walking a while, we saw Muirner by the pond, wearing thick gardening clothes, squatting there and digging in the soil with a small shovel.

When Caesar got close, she turned her head and blinked.

"Hmm? Caesar, what brings you here today?" Muirner asked.

“I was running errands for someone and just happened to be passing by when I thought I’d come in and take a look,” Caesar said.

"I'm sorry, I'm still busy right now, working on the soil. I can't entertain you. You can wait for me at the maintenance station for an hour." Muirna said as he turned around and continued shoveling soil.

Caesar stepped forward without a word, picked up a shovel from the bucket next to him, and started working with her.

He worked for a short while, sweating profusely, but with his help, he finished in less than half an hour.

"Alright." Muir wiped the sweat from his neck and untied his headscarf.

"We've finished our work, let's go take a break."

As she spoke, she led Caesar toward the nursing station.

A moment later, two glasses of lemon juice were placed on the wooden table.

"Phew, that really quenched my thirst." Muirner put down the empty cup and wiped his mouth.

"So, Xiao Sa, what brings you here to see me?"

Caesar paused for a moment, then smiled: "As expected, you can't hide it from the professor."

"Hmph, let's not stand on ceremony between us. Speak, what is it?" Muirna said magnanimously.

"Well, Professor, are you free next week? I'd like to invite you out," Caesar said.

"Go out? Where to?" Muirna asked curiously.

"Hmm, shopping, seeing art exhibitions and art fairs? I don't know if you're interested in cultural relic exhibitions, but I managed to get two tickets to the Lunxi Museum," Caesar said.

Muirner opened his mouth slightly upon hearing this.

"Does this count as a date?"

"Would you mind if I told you?" Caesar gave an enigmatic smile.

“That really caught me off guard, being suddenly invited on a date or something,” Muirner said.

"So, do you have time?"

Muirner smiled faintly: "If it's your invitation, I think so. When? I have another vacation this month that I can apply for."

“Then let’s do it this weekend. I’ll pick you up then,” Caesar said.

“Okay.” Muirner had no doubts and readily agreed.

Then, remembering something, she asked, "Won't your Ita be unhappy if you go out with me?"

"Huh? Ita? What happened to her?" Caesar didn't notice.

“Because, that child likes you very much, right?” Muirner said.

Caesar chuckled and waved his hand: "Don't worry, I'll explain the situation to her, and I believe she won't get angry over something like this."
