The scene shifts back to midday, in the hotel room shortly after Mirad and Siolitta left.

“Krinshid, isn’t this a bit inappropriate… I promised Mr. Mirad I would stay in this room…”

Eugene, with a bitter expression, knelt on the ground with his buttocks sticking out so that Klinsid behind him could study the magic that bound his legs.

"You are a hero, yet you know you've been used, and the city is shrouded in gloom. Can you really stay here?"
