Manor Lord of the Elf World
Chapter 42, the second Pokémon?
Chapter 42: The Second Pokémon?
It was rare to hear the name of someone he knew in this unfamiliar and distant era, which made Raven feel an urge to meet that person.
But after calming down, Raven realized that this was a very difficult thing to achieve.
Leaving aside whether they can find Aaron, the mere fact that they have to cross the sea has already stopped them.
"Your Highness, don't worry. Perhaps the Beastmaster will visit the royal city again in the future," Elif comforted him.
Raven, however, thought it was unlikely. As far as he knew, the Kanto region, where the Kingdom of Ordron was located, was also plagued by constant wars, and Alan would stay there to help Queen Lynn and find a way to stop the war.
But it doesn't matter. He can just secretly ride his Dratini to Ordron City to take a look when it evolves into Dragonite.
Let's see Aaron, and while we're at it, let's check out the Tree of Beginning. Maybe we'll even run into Dream.
"Your Highness Raven! Your Highness Raven!"
Just then, Ryan's voice came from not far away.
Raven turned around and saw him running towards him, carrying an injured and unconscious magical beast in his arms.
When Raven saw the appearance of the monster clearly, he was stunned.
That's... a Snivy?
However, compared to how he had seen it before, the current Snivy was in a very sorry state.
Its eyes were closed, and its body was covered with ferocious claw marks, making it look extremely shocking.
Raven frowned.
Ryan said, "We just found this monster in a thicket while patrolling around the territory. It was lying unconscious on the snow. Bane said you recognized it, so I brought it back!"
Bane, a member of the Knights, was also present when Raven attempted to make contact with Snivy.
Raven nodded, grunted, and said, "Leave it to me."
"Yes!"
Ryan brought over the Snivy.
Raven carefully examined the Snivy's injuries and then took it to the doctor, Lila.
"Your Highness, what is this?" Lila was stunned as she looked at the unconscious little monster.
“Lyra, the magical beast Ryan brought back from outside, I need healing and frostbite medicine.” Raven placed the Snivy on the bed.
"Yes!"
Lila got up and handed over two bottles of medicine from the shelf.
Raven helped the vine snake up, first treating its injuries with healing medicine, and then feeding it frostbite medicine.
This healing potion was made from the Vitality Roots that Anna had collected earlier. The moment the potion was fed into the Vine Serpent's mouth, its wounds began to heal at a visible speed.
The frostbite marks began to fade away slowly.
Before long, Raven saw Snivy's eyelids twitch, as if it were about to wake up.
"Teng Teng..."
The vine snake let out a low murmur.
Its consciousness gradually returned, and at first, the Sniper was unaware of its current situation.
Its memory is still stuck in last night.
At that time, it was looking for a den to shelter from the impending blizzard, but unexpectedly it was attacked and hunted by a group of Slugs on the way.
After a fierce battle with them, the Sniffer was severely injured, but fortunately, it was quite agile and managed to escape using its vine whip and grass knot techniques.
In its attempt to escape, the Snivy paid a heavy price; it was severely injured and unable to find the herbs on its own.
At that moment, for some reason, Snivy suddenly remembered what had happened to the group of bubble squirrels that day.
The humans who had invaded their home and destroyed the trees they depended on for survival did not harm them; instead, they treated them with great friendliness. The sniffer snake, unwilling to die, desperately sought a sliver of hope and struggled through the forest, braving the heavy snow to reach the humans' territory.
But in the end, it collapsed in the snow due to exhaustion.
Now that it's awake, did it get rescued by those humans?
Thinking this, the Snivy slowly opened its eyes.
The next second, it saw a familiar face.
The vine snake was slightly taken aback.
"Awake?" Raven said with a smile, "We meet again, Snivy."
"Teng Teng..."
“I don’t know what happened to you, but judging from your injuries, it must have been something very bad,” Raven said.
"Spirit Snake." The events of last night flashed through the Snake's mind, and its face turned cold.
If those Niraxes hadn't launched a sneak attack on it in a despicable manner, they would have been no match for it, given its strength.
Raven observed the Snivy's reaction and, judging from its expression, figured it must have had a fierce battle with a wild Pokémon the night before.
Although the outcome is unknown, judging from the wounds on Snivy's body, the battle must have been extremely fierce.
Raven felt a pang of guilt, thinking that perhaps it was because of their arrival that the Snivy lost its home, wandered into the territory of other Pokémon, was attacked, and seriously injured.
He looked at the Snivy in front of him, straightened his expression, and said again, "I'm sorry, Snivy."
"Snivy?" Snivy was slightly taken aback, then came to its senses and looked up at the human in front of it.
"I am very sorry that you have lost your homes because of us. A blizzard is coming and the temperature will soon become very cold. It will be difficult to find food outside."
"So, how about you consider my previous suggestion? Spend the winter here with all of us, and the foam squirrels, and I'll provide you with food and shelter."
"Next spring, I will help you rebuild a tree orchard to serve as your new home."
Raven's expression was serious, and his tone was sincere.
Pokémon are known for their keen senses, especially Snivy, a Pokémon with high intelligence and a reputation for calmness.
It stared into Raven's eyes for a long time.
The human in front of me truly felt guilty and wanted to make amends in this way...
A moment later, Snivy turned its head away, refusing to look at Raven.
"Teng Teng."
“Well then, welcome to the team, Snivy,” Raven said with a smile.
At the same time, Raven received a notification that the number of Pokémon in his territory had increased from 18 to 19.
And before his eyes appeared the information about this vine snake.
