Chapter 520, Episode 518: School Starts

Recalling the past, Professor McGonagall's lips trembled, but she ultimately did not speak further.

"I thought...we should be together..."

Snape, his lips moving slightly, finished speaking somewhat awkwardly.

"I'm taking him away today."

Professor McGonagall stopped dwelling on the first topic and instead raised the second request.

"You're making him weak by engaging in pointless interpersonal entanglements..."

Snape didn't look well.

I think quite the opposite.

Professor McGonagall countered.

"Oh--"

Snape stopped talking; he had achieved his goal.

The foolish Green is always accompanied by the truly stupid, physically strong, and simple-minded Porter...

If he's going to Hogsmeade, then that fool had better stay away. Everyone knows that Sirius Black, the fugitive convict, is the Dark Lord's most trusted henchman, and everyone knows what he really wants to do...

"You should know about the safe house."

Professor McGonagall suddenly said something before she left.

"what?"

Snape was somewhat surprised.

"He has a door key that leads to a room with the spell of unwavering loyalty."

Professor McGonagall said calmly.

"...The person in charge of keeping secrets...me?"

Snape was silent for a moment.

"You and me."

Professor McGonagall nodded slowly.

"Ha... what else did you give him? An unregistered door key, a secret safe house... why don't you give him an unrecorded wand as well, so he can easily become a criminal who is extremely difficult for the Ministry of Magic to arrest."

Snape sneered.

Professor McGonagall paused upon hearing this, her expression appearing somewhat unnatural for the first time.

"Don't tell me..."

Snape was shocked; he never imagined that someone would do what he had wanted to do but hadn't yet accomplished.

"Things aren't what you think..."

Professor McGonagall seemed reluctant to speak.

"I'm afraid I don't plan to find out what happens next."

Snape showed no respect for the laws of the Ministry of Magic, but instead became curious about the mysterious members of the McGonagall family.

He thought that group of people were like his old-fashioned teacher.

Interesting, very interesting...

Snape suppressed a smile.

An unregistered Animagus, with an unregistered door key, a safe house, and a wand...

Snape could hardly think of anything that could threaten him unless he willingly walked into danger.

Snape's smile froze.

That idiot seems to love going into danger.

While he looked extremely pale, Sheehan silently stroked the door key and wand in the bag. Grandpa Marcus truly lived up to his reputation as a meritorious Auror of the Ministry of Magic, managing to obtain so many illegal items.

Looking back now, it seems he had a very complete escape route.

……

Sheehan spent the last week of summer vacation at McGonagall.

This means that if he wants to return to Hogwarts, he would have better take the Hogwarts Express.

Professor McGonagall seemed to enjoy his trips on the train with the other young wizards and his friends. Meanwhile, after a week on the farm, Sheehan noticed a significant decrease in the number of animals. If Sheehan's gaze lingered on an animal for more than ten seconds, the next time he saw it, it would be in the farm's large pot.

The farm owner, Grandpa Marcus, is a sprightly old wizard who is happy to teach Sheen the Patronus Charm along with Professor McGonagall.

Surprisingly, all three of them have a cat as their guardian spirit.

Professor McGonagall's Patronus is noble and elegant, Sheen's Patronus is agile and solid, and Marcus's Patronus is quite fat.

It floated there, like a big dog.

Professor McGonagall gave Marcus a mischievous look more than once, and the old wizard would stiffen his neck and say things like, "He was so slim when he was young," "Can't Patronus get old?" and "It's better to be fatter, so he can block spells more effectively."

Naturally, under the tutelage of the professor and the Aurors, Sheen mastered the physical guardian spirit and raised his proficiency to the [Expert] level.

As for Fiend, he only has one-tenth of his proficiency left. Within three days of the start of the school term, Sheen will be able to become a master of dark magic.

"Do you want to go to Hogsmeade?"

On the morning of September 1st, the day they were to depart for Platform 9, Professor McGonagall, while looking at the newspaper, suddenly asked a question.

Sheen looked at the professor's gentle gaze but did not answer. The professor, as if understanding something, smiled and stood up from his chair.

"Let's go, child. It's time to leave. To Hogwarts."

As always, Grandpa Marcus and the Little Wheat Buddies saw him off for a long way. When they arrived at Platform 9, it seemed as if Grandpa Marcus's words of advice were still echoing in Shin's ears.

"Sirius, I know he's escaped—be careful, son, but don't worry too much, we'll catch him."

More importantly, living a joyful and vibrant life is the key…

Recalling the past, in the blink of an eye, Sheen and Professor McGonagall passed through the solid metal wall and arrived at Platform 9.

They looked up and saw the Hogwarts Express—a bright red steam locomotive puffing out smoke, with the platform crowded with wizards, men and women, seeing their children off.

The Weasleys, along with Harry, Hermione, and Justin, also appeared at this time.

"Oh, Professor McGonagall, it's an honor to meet you—are you here to greet new students?"
"Oh! Green! Child, it's you!"

Mrs. Weasley greeted him warmly, somewhat surprised that Sheehan always spent time with Professor McGonagall—even during their last visit to the Burrow—but unable to understand why.

After all, the wizard in front of them was called Sheen Green, not Sheen McGonagall or anything like that.

Mrs. Molly.

Sheen said in a slightly friendly tone.

It's so nice to see you!

Mrs. Weasley gave Sheehan a bear hug.

Professor McGonagall stared at her with a slight frown, which puzzled Mrs. Weasley.

"Sheen!"

Justin, Hermione, and Harry ran over as well, while Ron was the last to arrive, having been staring at Percy who had suddenly appeared.

"Look over there."

Ron winked.

Everyone looked over, and saw Percy say loudly:

"Ah, Penelope!"

As he spoke, he smoothed his hair again, and his face flushed pink.

The young wizards exchanged glances, then turned away to chuckle.

Mrs. Weasley blushed slightly, after all, the professor was there.

Not far away, Percy strode toward a girl with long curly hair, deliberately puffing out his chest so that she could see his gleaming badge.

"Ah, ah... children, the car is about to leave."

Mrs. Weasley quickly said.

She kissed each of her children in turn, then Hermione, Justin, and Harry.

Finally, Professor McGonagall stopped her from approaching Sheehan.

“Excuse me, Ms. Weasley, he needs to get in the car.”

Professor McGonagall said expressionlessly.
