Warhammer 40: Doom

Chapter 192 Board Jumping Battle Under the Moon

Chapter 192 Board Jumping Battle Under the Moon (Thanks for all the donations)
Outside the Demon Armory, ten Doomsday Warriors stood on either side, guarding the armory's security.

Upon seeing the flashing transmission light, they immediately gripped their weapons, and after recognizing the newcomer, they knelt on one knee: "Father of Genetics!"

"Get up," Doom quickly waved for them to rise.

He had said long ago that there was no need to kneel, but his offspring insisted on doing so as a sign of respect.

"King Norwick." Ten psychic masters in long robes bowed to welcome King Norwick's arrival.

"Thank you for your hard work." Doom greeted them sincerely, expressing his respect.

These selfless psychic masters, their bodies inscribed with golden runes, use psychic barriers to defend against non-material prying eyes.

“Open the door, I need to retrieve some weapons.” Doom nodded, signaling the master to open the door.

“As you command.” The two psychic masters turned their hands, extending palms covered with runes, and chanted incantations to channel psychic energy.

The psionic shield opened a gap, and the door immediately opened a crack.

"I think Blood God has a 30/70 chance against Dark Prince. Blood God can cut Dark Prince seven times in three minutes!"

"No! No! No! The Dark Prince will cry and beg the Blood God to spare Him!"

"So here's the question: was the battle between the Blood God and the Dark Prince orchestrated by the Lord of Changes?"

"Instead of fighting and killing, wouldn't it be better for everyone to sit down and listen to our loving father's teachings, and to love and care for one another?"

"Bloodlustful monsters, the Dark Prince will rip out your blasphemous tongues and brutally violate your throats!"

"This is the realm of the god-slayer. We may be killed by the Dark Prince before he can humiliate us."

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ga..."

The room was filled with smoke and stench, and the occasional howls and mocking laughter of demons could be heard.

The conversation and banter in the weapons room ceased abruptly when the door opened, as if the demons had been choked.

The god-slayer stood at the door, his eyes filled with hostility, looking at me as if I were a corpse.

The hall displays forty jars, each containing ten demons of the Four Gods, imprisoned within rune seals.

The sealing jar was only the height of a mortal, forcibly compressing the enormous bodies of the Four Great Demon Gods and imprisoning them within a small space.

At this moment, the Myriad Transformations Demon Lord folded his wings, shrank his head like a frightened bird, and was as docile as a quail.

The bloodthirsty madman knelt on one knee, expressing his respect to the god-slayer, and dared not do anything rash.

The Great Demon Keeper of Secrets trembled, his long, dark purple tongue twisted together, afraid of making a sound.

The unclean one sat slumped, maggots trembling on his body, his pale green body turning white with fear.

Doom's gaze was almost tangible, burning the demon's skin and emitting a plume of burning white smoke.

The demon trembled in agony, yet dared not utter a sound; no one dared to face the oppressive power of the god-slayer.

Doom wanted nothing more than to tear these filthy creations apart; his fists clenched as he suppressed his surging rage.

The marks of the god-slayers engraved on the walls of the jars seemed to come alive, burning their unclean bodies like branding irons.

"Two bloodthirsty madmen, two great impurities."

Doom remained expressionless, his voice as cold as frost: "Take them and rendezvous with the Imperial Guard."

After he finished speaking, he turned and left, afraid that he would lose control and kill a few demons to vent his anger.

Seeing the god-slayer leave, the demons breathed a sigh of relief, a surge of elation welling up within them.

If it weren't for the wrong location, they would have even cheered.

Once they are killed by this jar, releasing the concept and power of the demons, they can return to the warp to be reborn.

From then on, the sky was high enough for birds to fly freely, and the sea was wide enough for fish to leap freely. I was far away from the threat of the god-killer and never wanted to see Him again!

Four Doomsday Warriors entered the hall, while Bloodlust and the Great Impure One cast hopeful glances, wishing they could be chosen.

Some of the demons even became agitated and pointed at themselves.

"Behave yourself!" Doomsday Warrior shouted, instantly making the Great Demon stand up straight.

In the eyes of the Great Demon, the departing Doom was the boss, while the Doom Slayer in front of him was the underling.

They can all reduce themselves to ashes and completely eliminate their own concepts.

The demons view invading reality as a game, a virtual game with a realistic sense of touch, and take pleasure in trampling on the creatures of the real universe.

The greatest advantage of demons is that they can be reborn in the warp after death, so they act recklessly and have no fear or awe in their hearts.

But the god-killer is different; he possesses the concept of erasure, and his genetic offspring inherit this concept.

To demons, the Doom Slayer is the embodiment of true death; once killed by them, there is no possibility of resurrection.

Even the past and future, their true names and imprints in the subspace, were all erased.

Even more terrifying, his demonic essence was plundered and became the powerful foundation of the Doom Slayer.

How could this not frighten the demon?
Seeing Doom is even more terrifying than seeing the Four Gods. Even when killed by a hostile god, the demon's true name and warp mark do not disappear; only its physical form is scattered by the god.

If the deity they worship is pleased, they can be resurrected and return to receive divine grace once more.

With a low shout, the Doomsday Warrior silenced the demons once more, leaving them to await their selection like cargo.

Without any particular choice, the Doomsday Soldier covered the demon jars at the front of the line with a psionic black cloth to obscure their view from outsiders.

The chosen demon was overjoyed, casting disdainful glances at the other demons, and was momentarily filled with excitement.

Doomsday gripped the top handle of the jar, lifted the demon's sealed container, and left the demon weapons room.

As they left, the gates closed again, and the great demons once more began to clamor and mock the gods.

Here, the gods cannot see, and they can speak freely and criticize the four deities at will.

In the Royal Majesty hangar, six hundred Imperial Guards were divided into two groups, ready to depart.

The Imperial Guards' golden armor had metal wings mounted on their backs, and they also had flight backpacks designed specifically for complex terrain.

Originally designed for the Doom Soldier, the backpack was given to the Imperial Guard due to mission requirements, which also served the Empire's interests.

The Doom Slayer and the Imperial Guard are about the same height and have a high degree of equipment compatibility.

Doom's eyes lit up when he saw it; the golden-armored royal guards with their jet-black wings possessed a magnificent, decadent beauty reminiscent of "fallen angels."

Behind him followed twenty Doom Warriors clad in black armor, escorting forbidden weapons containing demonic energy.

"Company Commander Odysseus, can you achieve the greatest results and destroy Randan's megastructure?"

Doom stood before the Imperial Guards, his tall frame looking down at the Shield Guard captain: "It's all up to you now!"

Odysseus held his halberd in one hand, his fist pressed against his chest: "The Imperial Guard will complete the mission!"

"Put this on." Doom waved his hand, signaling the stone golem to take out the prepared equipment.

"What is this?" Odysseus asked, puzzled. What was the ring in the technician's hand?

"A precious teleportation lasso," the stone man explained to the shield guard captain, holding up the round bracelet in his hand.

"Once your lives are in danger or your mission is complete, you will be taken away from the alien ship and returned to the transport ship."

Doom's gaze swept over the Imperial Guards on the tarmac, and he slowly said, "The Emperor entrusted you to me, and I must be responsible for your lives."

“Thank you for your concern.” Odysseus spoke sincerely; he was truly grateful to the Primarch.

These advanced equipment not only enhanced the combat effectiveness of the Imperial Guards, but also ensured the safety of every member of the Imperial Guards.

Odysseus thought to himself that the Primarch before him was more thoughtful than his brother.

"Let's go." Doom gestured for the distribution of teleportation lassos, ensuring that all the Imperial Guards and Doom Warriors had basic protection.

"Rest assured, Primarch, we will return victorious!" The Shield Guard captain raised his halberd and turned to walk towards the transport plane: "Chieftain, board!"

Doom was also ready, and with the help of the machine, he put on his flight pack.

"Brothers, board the ship! We'll win victory for the Father of Genetics!"

Doom remained silent, clenching his fists as he watched the genetic offspring depart, saying in the telepathic link, "May you return safely."

This landing and boarding operation was a thousand times more dangerous than a normal boarding operation.

The Imperial Guard and the Doomsday Warriors were heading to a steel planet teeming with terrifying Randan aliens.

They were to advance to a third of the depth of the battle moon and then detonate the demonic weapon.

Only the Imperial Guard and the Destruction Warriors could withstand the mental pollution emitted by the aliens in the Randan's lair.

The former is the ultimate life form created by the emperor, while the latter is his own genetic offspring.

Their task is arduous.

The progress of destroying the battle moons must be synchronized, and in unconnected battles, the error in detonating weapons must not exceed one minute.

If the progress of the two sides falls too far apart, the moon will likely escape into subspace during the later stages of the battle.

The boarding party split into two groups and left on two transport ships.

They will board the reconnaissance ship and, taking advantage of the warship's stealth capabilities, approach the Randan combat moon; this process could take several days.

In order to avoid being detected, the reconnaissance ship must shut down its propulsion engines when it reaches a certain distance, allowing the ship to drift forward in the void.

(I had to go out in the evening, three.)
(Author's Note)

At the end of the Third Randanian War, Horus was crowned warlord.

Therefore, the author made a bit of an original choice regarding Ran Dan's ending. After all, in the original work, only nine Primarchs were present at Ulano's coronation.

In the Randan War, let's also create the fate of a lost son based on the original clues.
