Chapter 260 Be a Civilized Person
Chapter 260 Be a Civilized Person
The number of passengers gradually dwindled, and the atmosphere became quiet and secluded.
As Zhou Yi approached the penultimate carriage, he noticed that it had been completely emptied, leaving only the bare floor and anti-slip rubber.
On the left, two men in casual clothes were talking face to face, their voices low, seemingly not wanting to disturb the guests behind them.
Although none of them wore identification badges, the bulges around their waists indicated that they were not ordinary citizens.
"Remember to close the door." Zhou Yi said to Katelyl, then walked over with a normal expression.
Soon, the younger man raised an eyebrow.
"Stop, don't move!"
He raised his voice in warning, his right hand instinctively touching his coat.
Zhou Yi's expression was somewhat impatient.
He waved his hand, then quickened his pace, seemingly intending to push the door open and enter.
That Asian face, coupled with such an arrogant attitude, left the two of them momentarily stunned.
But it was precisely that moment of hesitation that became a huge flaw.
The next second, Zhou Yi moved without warning.
He sank his feet, and a short blade slid out from under his clothes. He shifted his weight forward and pressed himself against the man's body in an instant.
The blade sliced along the side of the neck, not deep, but enough to be fatal.
The man's pupils dilated, and he instinctively waved his hands, but even his shouts were muffled by blood and foam.
At the same time, the other man finally drew his pistol.
Unfortunately, the angle was off, and my view was blocked by my companion in front of me.
Zhou Yi twisted his shoulder, turned and stepped to the side, raised his knee and slammed the man into the wall, the tip of the knife penetrating two inches below his ribs.
His lung was punctured, and the man gasped for breath as if he were drowning.
He tried his best to fight back, but was hit in the cheekbone by an elbow strike and lost consciousness completely.
In less than four seconds, the two died, and blood spread rapidly.
Katelyl stood five meters away, still maintaining her previous posture.
Witnessing a highly efficient killing almost made her forget to breathe.
Fortunately, a heavy curtain hung over the glass, enough to cover everything that was happening here.
Zhou Yi wiped the still-bleeding knife on the curtain, stuffed it back into his pocket, and then bent down to pick up the corpse by the collar.
Then, after gathering his strength, he kicked the door lock.
"Boom--!"
With a loud bang, the passengers in the last carriage almost simultaneously looked up in bewilderment.
Immediately afterwards, two bodies were thrown in one after the other, landing in the center of the carpet.
puff.
puff.
The heavy body fell to the ground, leaving irregular deep red patterns on the wool.
Kishida's eyelids twitched involuntarily.
That wasn't ordinary bleeding.
That's the blood of the dead.
The warmth was gone, yet it felt both familiar and distant, penetrating the nasal cavity with such clarity.
He didn't move. Nobody moved.
"Put your hands up," a female voice said in German.
Zhou Yi stared at the various expressions on the faces of the people in front of him and scratched his chin.
One of the men, who appeared to be in his early thirties, may have been driven mad by the bloodshed, or he may have genuinely believed he had found an opportunity.
His eyes darted around, as if waiting for some kind of "window".
Finally, taking advantage of the moment when Ketterel lowered his right hand, he suddenly leaped and desperately lunged towards the door.
Unfortunately, to no avail.
Zhou Yi kicked the man to the ground with his right foot.
What followed was a piercing scream that never stopped.
"Shh, be quiet."
Zhou Yi pressed one knee against his back, then grabbed his hair, forcing him to lift his head.
The screams grew increasingly piercing.
The man writhed wildly in his hands, trying to break free of his restraints.
"Don't make a sound," Zhou Yi said in a low voice, drawing a pistol from his waist and pressing it against the back of the other person's head.
"Be a civilized person." *Bang!*
The flesh exploded, and brains splattered, like a ripe fruit being crushed by a wheel.
The man immediately stopped moving, collapsing to the ground like a rag doll.
The carriage fell into a deathly silence.
Two seconds later, Zhou Yi spoke.
"The nearest armed men are five carriages away."
"That is to say——"
He tilted his head and glanced at Katelyl.
"We have about three minutes left."
"Now, translate for them."
“Each person has fifteen seconds,” Katelyl said immediately upon receiving the signal.
"Tell us who you are, where you come from, where you are going, and what you are going to do."
"If you don't speak clearly, or too slowly—"
She paused, then pointed to the corpse at her feet. "That's the consequence."
"Let's start with you."
As Katelyl spoke, she pointed to the oldest man in the grey suit directly opposite her.
The man froze, his face turned deathly pale, his Adam's apple bobbed incessantly, and large beads of sweat slid down his temples.
One second, two seconds.
"boom!"
"It's your turn."
Zhou Yi nodded slightly to the person sitting to his left, and then turned the gun in his hand.
The other party was still in shock from the carnage and was staring blankly at the corpses scattered on the ground.
"boom!"
The bullet pierced through the eye socket and exploded from behind, creating a fist-sized hole.
Someone on the right suddenly stood up, roaring something, and reached into their robes.
Zhou Yi fired again without hesitation.
The man staggered two steps, knocked over the glass coffee table at his feet, and instantly lost his life.
The next one was a thin, middle-aged man.
What he saw before him was like a living hell, with corpses scattered everywhere and bloodstains still warm, making it almost impossible for him to think clearly.
"Your name." Zhou Yi's tone was completely flat.
The man felt tears streaming down his face.
He opened his lips tremblingly, struggling to move them a few times, but couldn't utter a single word.
"boom!"
His head tilted to one side, and his body fell to the ground with a thud.
Before it was anyone else's turn, a man in a black suit in the corner of the private room completely broke down.
"Don't kill me!" he shouted in English, slamming his forehead against the ground. "I'll talk! I'll tell you everything!"
"My name is Makoto Kishida, from the Trade Commission under the Ministry of International Trade. I've come to discuss the supply and allocation of resources for the Greater East Asia region!"
"Whatever your purpose is, please... please don't shoot!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the man looked up in despair, his breath ragged and sweat pouring down his face, desperately seeking a glimmer of hope.
Unexpectedly, everyone's attention seemed to be drawn to the new sound.
Disorganized footsteps and commands could be heard outside.
The security personnel on the train were completely alarmed by the gunfire, but dared not rush in because they could not ascertain the situation inside.
Ketterle carefully considered the situation for a few seconds, then quickly whispered to Zhou Yi in Russian:
"They are worried about the safety of their diplomats, so they are still hesitant about whether to take action."
“A reasonable hesitation.” Zhou Yi nodded.
He stepped forward, grabbed Kishida by the collar, pulled him up from the ground, and dragged him to the carriage door.
“Tell them—” Zhou Yi pressed the muzzle of the gun against his chin.
"Tell them the whole train is full of TNT, and if they don't want to die, they should get out of there at least ten meters away."
Kishida trembled violently, barely able to stand, and was shoved shut by the carved wooden door, screaming in fright.
"Stop!! Don't move!! There are explosives in the carriage!! We'll all die!! Back up—!!"
