Chapter 122 Determination
Chapter 122 Determination (Part Two)
Only then did Lu Lin come to his senses from the explosion. He thought of Yehena and Ibrahim, wondering how badly they were injured.
And those familiar faces in the staff headquarters—he was somewhat relieved that he hadn't clearly seen who was lying on the ground, otherwise he would have had a hard time concentrating now.
"Major General, can you really remember the name of every street in this city?" The platoon leader's voice came from the roof of the vehicle.
Lu Lin: "While you were training and maintaining weapons and equipment, I was memorizing maps. That's what you call doing your job."
"If you ask me, we should equip you with a tank; one infantry fighting vehicle alone is not enough," the driver said with some regret.
The driver added, "And the tank has an antenna, so the radio range is much wider!"
Lu Lin clicked his tongue, it didn't seem wrong at all!
At this moment, the radio broadcast gradually became clearer, and as he expected, the Zionians began to broadcast the message "Amir is dead" in Arabic on public channels, hoping to demoralize the city's defenders.
Lu Lin said to the communications soldier, "Set the channel to public as well."
Signalman: "Huh? Won't the other side hear us too? Is that okay?"
"I just wanted the other side to hear it."
Lu Lin then obtained the tuned radio and spoke into the microphone: "This is Amir. I regret to inform you that I am still alive. To all Zion soldiers who hear this message, I will personally send you to hell. That's all."
After hearing the major general's words, the platoon leader on the roof of the vehicle repeated them to the soldiers, and everyone burst into laughter.

Zion, 210th Division.
Upon hearing the voice coming from the radio, Lieutenant General Laden seemed thoughtful. He turned to his adjutant and asked, "Do you think this is true?"
"You mean Amir is still alive?" The adjutant thought for a moment. "According to the intelligence that has been sent back, there was indeed no direct eyewitness to the killing of the enemy commander, but this could also be a tactic by Shuangzhi to stabilize morale."
Lieutenant General Laden pondered for a moment: "In any case, we now have an overwhelming advantage in troop strength. As long as we continue to advance, it's only a matter of time before we capture this city."
“That’s right.” The adjutant nodded.
At this moment, the communications soldier in charge of radio signal monitoring came to report: "Sir, we have just cracked the internal communication frequency band of Shuangzhi!"
Upon hearing this good news, Lieutenant General Laden immediately became interested: "Tell me more details."
"We used RAF technology for radio jamming. Although the other side quickly switched to a lower frequency band, we still managed to capture them very quickly."
The communications officer quickly explained and tuned the idle radios in the headquarters to the same frequency, and soon the voice of the commander on the other end came through.
Less than two minutes later, Lieutenant General Laden's brow furrowed even more deeply.
He stared intently at the tactical map, and with the instructions over the radio, the entire urban battle situation clearly appeared in his mind.
The other party's instructions were extremely precise and complete; such detailed command ability is beyond what talent can describe.
"Lieutenant General, should we use a high-powered jammer to completely disrupt their channel?" the communications officer suggested.
Lieutenant General Laden listened to the instructions continuing to come over the radio, and remained silent for a long time: "No, Shuangzhi must have prepared other communication channels. Doing this will only alert them."
He then asked, "Can you pinpoint the signal's location?"
“Theoretically feasible.” The communications soldier demonstrated his professional radio technical skills: “We can deploy an antenna and use triangulation to roughly pinpoint the range of signal transmission, although the error may be relatively large.”
Zion used this tactic to locate the radio station of the 5th Infantry Division command post in Surria, and then successfully carried out a decapitation strike.
"About how long will it take?"
"Uh, if all goes well, half an hour."
Lieutenant General Laden looked at the communications soldier's shoulder insignia and suddenly said, "Your rank is soldier!"
The communications soldier saluted and stood at attention: "Reporting! Second Lieutenant Noam Berg, 848th Signal Battalion, Zion!"
"Very good, you've now been promoted to captain!" Lieutenant General Ladan declared, patting Captain Noam on the shoulder. "Quickly lay out the antenna, pinpoint the enemy's radio location, and then report back to me immediately!"
"Yes, sir!" Noam Berg stood ramrod straight, then quickly left the command post. Lieutenant General Ladan then turned to his adjutant: "Contact the artillery. Once Amir's location is pinpointed, unleash saturation fire!"
The adjutant nodded and began to contact the artillery positions outside the city via radio.
By this time, Zion had come to regard all the civilians in the city as guerrillas.
As Lieutenant General Laden listened to the constant stream of instructions over the radio, he finally understood why his superiors valued this young man so highly.
Any adversary that threatens Zion should be nipped in the bud.

Lu Lin was still closely monitoring the situation on the battlefield, and at the same time, he received some good news:
The war in the north has finally come to an end. The Kurds and Zion forces have been completely exhausted. Only a small number of troops were left to clear out the remaining enemies, while the rest will be transferred to the main battlefield.
Now we're finally not caught in a pincer movement.
He shifted his eagle-like perspective to directly in front of him, right in front of Major Tariq's camouflaged vehicle crew. At the same time, he also saw a Zion vehicle crew moving forward a block away, both in each other's blind spots.
He ordered: "1001, at the 11 o'clock position ahead of you, 200 meters away, there are two enemy armored vehicle crews moving south along Deli Street. Set up an ambush immediately. Over."
"1001 received."
Lu Lin reacted immediately upon seeing Major Tarik's Chieftain, turning the turret and pre-aiming.
But then something unexpected happened to Lu Lin: the Zion Chieftain stopped, and the infantry began to stand guard and ambush!
Ok?
Lu Lin suddenly sensed something unusual, the kind of alertness one would have when using cheat codes.
The next second, he heard a chilling shriek coming from the sky.
Lu Lin immediately got goosebumps on the back of his neck.
"Air raid! Take cover!"
Upon hearing the warning, the driver floored the accelerator and sped off, crashing the vehicle into a nearby building. The platoon leader and infantry squad on the roof jumped out and rolled to avoid the impact.
Lu Lin gripped the handrail tightly, feeling the car body tremble violently from the impact, with shattered bricks and stones raining down on the vehicle.
"Take the major general into the building and hide!" the platoon leader shouted.
But his words were quickly swallowed up by the dense explosions of artillery shells, and Lu Lin also quickly got out of the car.
Then came a barrage of bombing.
He only had time to assume a bomb-proof posture, similar to doing a plank on the ground.
About an hour later, the bombing finally stopped.
The entire block seemed to have been plowed through. Lu Lin stood up unsteadily, feeling as if his ears were about to explode from the overpressure.
Not right.
From the enemy squad's advance warning to this precise artillery barrage, Lu Lin was now certain that his radio communications had most likely been intercepted, and that the enemy had somehow pinpointed his approximate location.
"1001, please reply upon receipt"
He was just about to radio Major Tariq's 1001 crew to come and provide cover, but there was no response on the radio.
Lu Lin switched to the eagle's perspective, where Major Tarik's chieftain remains were burning.
Meanwhile, the Zion squad that had previously avoided the bombing was now advancing again, and was only a wall away from them.
Seeing that his soldiers were still confused, Lu Lin kicked the platoon leader in the butt: "Prepare to engage the enemy."
The platoon leader instinctively shouted, "Contact the enemy!!"
His loud voice not only alerted his own soldiers but also allowed the enemy to pinpoint their location.
Before Lu Lin could even curse, the other side threw a grenade at him.
That's right, there will be another chapter later. We need to finish this story for today.
