Otherworld Bone Dragon Operation Guide
Chapter 8 Hiding
Chapter 8 Hiding
“When you first arrived, I conducted seventeen investigations. Apart from the fact that you are exceptionally powerful in magical elements, there is nothing special about you except for your skin color and eye color, which are somewhat unusual.”
"No difference?" Su Ming was surprised. Could it be that the human populations on Earth and in another world share the same origin?
“I watched you travel here from the moment the dimensional teleportation array was activated. But what will the Templars think? The success of the dimensional teleportation itself is just a pipe dream.”
Su Ming sat down on the ground in frustration. "I understand. Forget about how to gain their trust; no one will have the patience to listen to the explanations of us heretics."
“Yes, I’ve thought of everything I can,” White Bone said. “I’ve resisted this pursuit for over a year, and now I’m still forced to accept my fate.”

on the earth.
As dawn broke, the familiar steel-structured factory came into Su Ming's view.
He has begun to adapt to his clairvoyance. It's a bit like looking at a film negative; at first, it's completely bewildering, but after looking at it many times, you can recognize some things on the negative.
He manipulated the troublemaker to go around to the back door of the machine shop and climb in through a blind spot of the surveillance cameras. Then he climbed up the outer wall to the second floor and squeezed into the dormitory through an open window in the corridor.
He came up with the name "Little Troublemaker" when he was bored on the road.
This skeleton is slender and tall, with the strength of an adult but weighing less than a fifth of that, making it perfectly suited for climbing, vaulting, and squeezing through windows. Furthermore, its bones are quite resilient, making a leap of faith possible.
The troublemaker quickly arrived on the third floor. Su Ming took out the hidden key from the window crack, opened the door, and entered his room.
The factory has been struggling lately, and there are few staff. Su Ming, who is also a team leader, is temporarily living alone in a room.
But the troublemaker can't hide here. Since Su Ming went missing, whether it's searching for clues or cleaning up his belongings, people from the factory will definitely come to the dormitory to check on him.
Su Ming first changed the little troublemaker's clothes, then took out his old, discarded phone, packed the items he thought he might need in his backpack, went out, and went to the storage room on the fourth floor.
This room was unused. Su Ming manipulated the little rascal to open the door and go inside, then blocked the door with something.
First goal achieved!
Overwhelmed by exhaustion, Su Ming realized he hadn't slept for almost 24 hours. He shoved the little troublemaker into a pile of junk, hiding it completely, then disconnected the connection and went straight to sleep.
Just as he was sound asleep, a burst of music mixed with a buzzing sound woke him up. Su Ming opened his eyes and found it was his phone alarm.
Today is a workday, and he set the time for 7:30. It's only been two hours, and Su Ming hasn't had enough sleep at all.
"It sounds nice, what is this?" The skeleton's mind was simultaneously established.
"Alarm clock."
Su Ming wanted to play a song for her, but as soon as he picked up his phone, he saw the battery warning light and then the screen went black.
"Is such a short sleep enough for you?" White Bone asked.
"Of course not." Su Ming explained that he had forgotten to change the alarm settings, which is why he was woken up.
"Then I won't disturb you, you can go back to sleep."
"No, once I'm woken up, it's hard for me to fall back asleep, and the more I try to sleep, the more anxious I become."
"Is that so? Would you like to come to the top of the tower? The view is quite nice," the skeleton invited.
"Didn't they say there was danger last night?"
"They're afraid I'll escape at night, so they'll throw out a few spells every now and then to check on me; during the day it's fine, basically nothing happens," White Bone explained.
“Okay then,” Su Ming agreed.
He began searching the hall for stairs or a way to climb, but the ceiling above him opened, and a bone cage was lowered down.
"I thought I'd have to climb, but there's an elevator," Su Ming complained as he stepped inside. Although the power source was unclear and the structures were quite different, the effect was the same. Su Ming quickly pulled himself to the top of the tower, at a speed that was almost too fast for him to handle.
He stepped out of the cage and was greeted by a vast mountain landscape. In the distance stretched a military camp, with many people, horses, and unidentified creatures vaguely visible. The hills behind him were not high, but quite beautiful.
On the other side was the ocean, with several ships with long masts moored a few miles from the shore, seemingly powered by sails.
He walked to the bone wall and looked down. He found himself in a cylindrical tower, which he estimated to be seventy or eighty meters tall, and his entire body was composed of bones that looked like white jade.
The sun was shining brightly, and a gentle breeze was blowing. Su Ming suddenly thought that if he brought up a recliner, he could take a nap.
"Back off!" the skeleton cried urgently.
Su Ming quickly retreated, and a circle of bone shields grew from the floor, surrounding him in the middle.
Then a barrage of arrows rained down, clattering and clanging as they turned the surrounding area into a hedgehog.
Several enormous fireballs roared in and slammed into the parapet at the top of the tower. A pale blue light barrier appeared, blocking some of the fireballs from hitting Su Ming, but the heat still spread out, carrying a foul, acrid smell.
"I did say there's basically nothing to worry about, but that doesn't mean we can be so careless!" White Bone said angrily. "Do you people from other worlds treat war like a game?!"
Su Ming stared blankly at the arrows and embers scattered on the ground, at a loss for what to do.
The skeleton wanted to say something more, but seeing his appearance, it quietly led him away to a room full of books.
A moment later, a skeleton brought over a glass of water.
"Are you feeling better?" White Bone asked.
Su Ming held his water glass in both hands. "Sorry, this is my first time experiencing a battlefield." He paused. "To me, it feels like I'm eating popcorn and watching a gory movie, and then the next second someone in the movie rushes out and slashes me with a knife."
"Is there no war in your world?" the skeleton asked.
"It's not that it doesn't happen, but most people won't encounter it, and I'm one of them."
"You're so happy! I'm so envious!"
Su Ming drank half a glass of water and looked at the skeleton. Its bones were pure white, more solid than the tower's material, and shimmered with light.
"Is this your true form, Miss White Bone?"
“No, they are just servants I summoned to do chores,” the skeleton replied. “Here’s a riddle for you: you have actually already seen me.”
"Oh?" Su Ming gave a polite reply, without even thinking about it, because he had other things to ask. "Could you teach me some advanced spells? I'll try to see if I can use them on Earth."
"With pleasure!" The white bone was clearly intrigued; a large book floated off the shelf and slammed down in front of Su Ming with a thud.
Su Ming took a closer look and saw that the book was titled "Detailed Explanation of Necromancer Summoning Technique." He reached out and flipped through it; the print was small and the paper thin, yet the content was extremely comprehensive.
Do you know the basic form of this spell?
The newly appointed necromancer activated the incantation for summoning the undead, which unfolded in the air. There were forty-two runes in total, a bit challenging for him, but he managed it.
