Chapter 277 Concert Magic

Necromancer's position.

Bowers took a deep breath, his gaze sweeping over the crowd, and asked in a deep voice, "Gentlemen, do you still remember why we are fighting?"

"Fight for freedom! Live to the death!" the crowd shouted in unison.

"Do you still remember our new name?" he shouted suddenly, raising his arms.

"The Last Bone Frenzied Weapon—!"

Below, at the Divine Grace Sea, the ancient walls suddenly burst forth with dazzling light.

The griffin and kodo beast statues carved on the wall seem to have been brought to life. Amidst the flying stone chips, these enormous creatures break free from the wall and crash to the ground, stirring up clouds of dust.

The knights, well-trained, leaped onto the backs of these alchemical war beasts.

This is the design of the Divine Grace Sea, which integrates offense and defense. Once activated, these stone statues will become powerful alchemical war beasts, which, together with the Divine Grace Knights, will be invincible!
Two hundred alchemical beasts—this was precisely the source of Captain Strick's confidence in leading his team to provide support!
"All forces, attack!"

Strrick pointed his longsword straight ahead and shouted a stern command.

A hundred Kodo beasts surged forth like a torrent, their heavy footsteps shaking the earth; a hundred griffins simultaneously flapped their wings and soared into the sky, swooping down on the Bone-Beast Fiend position on the hillside.

“Click! Click!”

Five bone-type self-propelled cannons were lined up in neat rows. These were meticulously crafted by Newman using bear-man skeletons collected during the last battle, and all of them were equipped with 100mm cannons.

Under the necromancer's precise control, the dark cannon muzzle slowly rose, locking onto the flock of alchemical griffins in the air.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Deafening cannon fire rang out in succession, several griffins exploded in mid-air, and alchemical parts rained down. Some knights were cut in half at the waist, their blood blooming into eerie flowers in the air; others escaped by chance and jumped from the sky.

"Ha, the quantity is impressive, but the quality is not so good." Newman sneered disdainfully.

"The Temple of Light has really gone all out to put together this force." Bowers narrowed his eyes, looking at the knights still charging down the mountain, his tone somewhat solemn.

The Divine Grace Knights, as expected of battle-hardened elites, charged forward fearlessly even after being dealt a heavy blow.

The kodo beast carried the knights up the steep hillside at breakneck speed. The priests behind them cast amplification spells in time, and the brilliant holy light enveloped the entire knight formation like a tide, draping them in a layer of divine glory.

Strick had never seen the strange instrument in Hanster's hands before, but he guessed it was some kind of bard's equipment. While boosting morale with song magic seemed out of place with the necromancer's somber style, it was nonetheless quite logical.

But he was confident—the priests of the Temple of Light had always been unparalleled in buff spells, far surpassing these lowly country bumpkins!
A smug smile curled at the corner of his mouth. This battle was a sure win!
****
Despite being uphill, the slope was gentle, and the alchemical beasts and knights charged at an astonishing speed. The bone-type self-propelled cannons, having run out of ammunition, had to retreat to reload; the zombie artillerymen quickly ejected their spent casings and loaded new shells.

Just then, Newman stomped his foot, instantly activating the amplification array on the ground, which was set up with expensive magic crystals. With a flick of his wrist, the bass emitted a bottomless low-frequency vibration, spreading out like the heartbeat of an ancient behemoth, causing the internal organs of everyone standing to tremble.

The runes on the Gospel statue lit up, golden light flowing across its metal surface, activating the long-range sonic projection spell originally used for proselytizing. The enemies who had already left the 'Island of Eternal Hope' shield shuddered, a chill running through them as if possessed by an evil spirit. Gospel's eyes flashed blue light, its four mechanical arms wielding steel bars and stones, smashing them against the specially crafted drum kit, instantly transforming into the core of a rhythmic storm. The remaining two mechanical arms frantically stomped on the hi-hat and bass drum, creating a continuous barrage of explosions, like thunderclaps, striking straight to the deepest recesses of the soul.

"God said, 'Sing a triumphant song!'"

Hanster clenched his right fist, thumb pressing down on his middle and ring fingers, while his index and little fingers were extended and raised high. "Get hyped—!"

All the necromancers made the same gesture, raising their arms in response, "Yeah—!"

Hansster put down his hands and strummed the strings, skipped the intro, and began to sing. His violent voice, as if from the depths of hell, immediately swept through the entire venue. His hoarse voice was as piercing as scratching glass, yet it was also filled with soaring pride.

The Pursuit of the Vikings

The warm sun shines again, and the first snow of winter has cleared.

Winter is about to lay bare its shackles, standing tall on the shores of the sea.
Giant waves rise and fall, the raging torrents call to our generation.
Set sail straight for destiny!
God of War, guide my ships

I carry the evil of weapons
Undeterred by the lash of storms and the cruelty of war

Let us work together!

……

The entire battlefield trembled, and many knights, caught off guard, instinctively covered their ears. Fortunately, they were controlling mindless alchemical beasts; otherwise, this single impact would have been enough to throw their formation into chaos.

The knights all enhanced their mental defenses, even resorting to silencing spells—even though this would severely impair their battlefield awareness, making them fight like deaf people.

Commander Strick never expected that the enemy bards would use sonic attacks, and not just any attacks, but special attacks that were a combination of physical and mental attacks.

After he cast a silencing spell on himself, he looked at the opposite side and saw that the bear-men had already stood up, panting heavily, their eyes burning with fierce fighting spirit.

"Destroy the enemy! Charge!" Hanster roared, weaving the command into the lyrics, his voice like the beating of war drums. Since opening the gates to the new world, he had been completely liberated by this free form of music; the magic of song was not bound by specific words—everything could be a song!
"Roar~! Determine to annihilate the enemy!" The bear-men glowed red as they swooped down the slope, crashing head-on into the alchemical beast.

Most of the alchemical beasts were smashed to pieces, metal parts flying everywhere. In just one exchange, nearly half of the kodo beasts on the ground were lost!
The bear-men also suffered heavy losses in this violent collision. Although there were not many deaths, the vast majority were seriously injured. Some even tumbled down the hillside while still holding their alchemical beasts, wrestling and fighting in the snow.

Following closely behind was the necromancers' long-prepared magical attack. Various corrosive spells and negative energy surged forth like a tide, and the black magical energy easily pierced through the knights' shields, like a hot knife through butter.

In a single encounter, seven or eight of these fully armed, fully buffed, and empowered Triple Knights fell to the ground!
"How could this be? Our individual strength is clearly superior!" Strike looked at the enemy in disbelief, cold sweat beading on his forehead.

He discovered that the necromancers were swaying and dancing wildly to the rhythm of the music, their raised hands not holding staffs, but holding a kind of glow stick they had never seen before—gold, white, and blue colors intermingling, making them particularly eye-catching on the gloomy battlefield.
