The soldier said he had already obtained the tinderbox and asked the old witch to pull him up.

The old witch then pulled hard, and the soldier, whose pockets, baggage, boots, and hat were all filled with gold coins, was pulled out of the tree hole.

In his hand was an old-fashioned tinderbox.

"Alright, give me the tinderbox, and you can take all the gold coins with you." The old witch reached out to take the tinderbox.
