God's imitator
Chapter 336 Selectable Games
Chapter 336 'Choose Your Own Game'
"Di-"
A sharp buzzing sound rang out, and Lin Sizhi looked around and found herself in a very spacious hall.
The front features a large screen, which will likely be used to explain the game's rules.
Around the hall are six different glass rooms, each with a small screen at the entrance, and the furnishings inside are all different.
Clearly, these are the six different game units currently in the lobby.
There were a total of 20 players in the hall, standing neatly in 4 rows of 5 people each, with Lin Sizhi in the last row.
Each player has a standing control panel with different community numbers ranging from 1 to 20.
Lin Sizhi knew very well that the main function of this control panel was to allow players to auction off items they acquired from the game.
However, in this game, players do not wear identification badges on their chests, so their community or specific name will not be indicated.
A moment later, the corresponding rules began to be displayed on the big screen.
Good morning, everyone. Welcome to 'Select Your Own Game'.
The total game time is 3 hours; there is no second stage.
As you can see, there are 6 different 'game rooms' in the game lobby, each with its own set of rules.
[For the next 3 hours, your task is simple: aim to earn as much visa time as possible and freely choose a room to play games.]
The specific rules are as follows:
【I. Room Revenue】
[1. Before entering each game room, players can collect or exchange visa time for a certain number of chips according to the room rules.]
2. Chips are not interchangeable between different rooms.
3. Players can only use chips designated for that specific room to play the game within that room.
4. Each room has a varying amount of 'room bonus,' defaulting to 3 to 15 visa time, which may increase due to additional bonuses from copycats. The more times a player plays in the room, the higher the 'room bonus' amount will be.
Every 30 minutes, players holding chips in this room can choose to spend their chips to receive "room dividends." The specific amount of visa time that can be redeemed is calculated as "chips held / total chips in the room × currently available room dividends."
5. Some game rooms may have additional reward rules; please check the notice board at the room entrance for details.
II. Player Selection Rules
[1. At the end of the game, all players will automatically suffer an instant death penalty.]
[2. For every 1 minutes of visa time earned in the game, players will automatically receive a "20% chance of being immune to death" card.]
There are 5 "Immunity Cards" in total, appearing as "Equipment Cards": Helmet, Chest Armor, Armguards, Leg Armor, and Boots.
Each card has a 20% chance of granting immunity to death. Collecting five different cards guarantees 100% immunity. Duplicate cards do not increase the chance.
[3. If the number of dead players exceeds 30% after the instant-death penalty, no further penalty will be imposed; if the number of dead players is less than 30%, players who have earned less visa time in the game will be selected to make up the 30%, and an additional instant-death penalty will be imposed.]
III. Trading Rules
[1. In the game lobby, each player will be assigned an 'auction terminal' by default.]
[2. Players can freely trade 'Immunity Cards,' 'Chips,' or 'Visa Time' through the auction terminal. See the auction terminal rules for details.]
[3. Special Note: Each game room has different 'rake' and 'transaction tax'.]
[When playing the game in the corresponding room, 'rake' will be automatically deducted according to the room rules.]
When items for a specific room are sold through the auction terminal, a transaction tax will be automatically deducted according to the room's rules.
[Please explore the specific rules of each room on your own.]
Violence and other illegal activities are strictly prohibited in this game; violators will be subject to immediate death.
[The game is now starting, good luck!]
……
The game rules were explained on the big screen, and the players erupted in an uproar.
Clearly, not every community can obtain prior information from copycats.
Many players are still completely unaware of this game, and they panicked instantly when they heard the rules say that "this game has a guaranteed 30% mortality rate".
Seeing that the entire lobby was full of strangers from other communities, with no players from their own community, made their situation even worse.
However, for players who had some prior knowledge, especially copycats who knew the basic rules, there was a crucial piece of information hidden in the game rules: copycats also face a death penalty.
This is only natural. If this information were also given to players, their behavior might be influenced by a "revenge on copycats" mentality.
It's possible for a game to be perfectly designed, but players might perceive the copycat as a huge threat and deliberately avoid playing it.
Therefore, by omitting this information in the rules, the fairness of the competition among imitators can be guaranteed to a certain extent.
Of course, whether players who know the truth will spread this information is another matter.
The game rules had been explained, but none of the players in the hall made any rash moves. They looked at each other, briefly studied the 'auction terminal' in front of them, and finally, cautiously dispersed to check the game names and specific rules of each room.
The scenario of "copycats rushing into the game room" did not occur.
In other words, even if there were copycats among the 20 players in this hall, they were all quite intelligent, and none of them made such basic mistakes.
Like the other players, Lin Sizhi stopped in front of each of the six game rooms to check out the different game rules.
Each game room's notice board displays three main pieces of information: "Simple Rules Introduction," "Rake Rate," and "Transaction Tax Rate," followed by the specific rules and details of the room.
Lin Sizhi first read through all the main information of the six game rooms.

Among them were game rooms designed by Lin Sizhi himself, but he did not choose to enter immediately. Instead, he walked around for a while and then stopped at the door of the "Minesweeper at Sea" room.
Then carefully review the specific rules of the game.
