Chapter 170 Weird things

Chapter 170 Weird things
Since Andrews knew the legend of the Ravenclaw tiara, Severus's story became much easier to explain.

"The ghost we're looking for definitely knows the whereabouts of that crown! That's why we want to find him in this forest and get information about the crown from him."

Severus's claims were reasonable and well-founded, and he was not lying; he was only telling part of the truth. Even if you gave him a truth serum and asked him if what he had just said was true, he would nod and say yes.

After listening to Severus's account, Andrews began to frown and recall.

"I've traveled in Albania for a long time, and I've explored almost all the large forests in the country. As for ghosts... I have indeed encountered a few, but they were either banshee ghosts obsessed with their own lair, or local Albanian sorcerer ghosts. I've never seen a ghost claim to be from England, or that behaved strangely."

Severus understood perfectly well that Voldemort could not appear in his true ghost form.

Even in his current state, it's questionable whether he can even simulate a phantom human form. According to Severus's memory of the original story, at this point in time, Voldemort can only survive by possessing small animals and cannot live independently!

"From what I understand, that ghost is very unusual."

Severus explained to Andrews.

"He usually doesn't appear in a phantom spirit form, but rather attaches himself to living things!"

"A living being? Ordinary ghosts don't have this ability. Is he a special kind of spirit?"

"Yes! You graduated from Hogwarts, so you should know about Peeves. After he died, he became a spirit similar to Peeves."

Andrews stroked his chin; his thick beard hadn't been groomed in a long time.

"If that's the case, finding him in the forest would be like finding a needle in a haystack. He can attach himself to animals, so how can we determine which animal is hiding there?"

Severus was clearly prepared for this.

He spoke.

“First, we can rule out magical creatures. Given his personality, he wouldn’t hide in an animal that’s associated with magical creatures in order to stay out of sight, because those animals would be under the supervision of the Albanian Ministry of Magic, and he would be afraid of being discovered by such a wizard.”

"You know him very well?" Andrews looked at Severus with a puzzled expression.

“There was a ghost at Hogwarts who had a close relationship with him in life, and I learned a lot from the ghost at Hogwarts,” Severus said calmly.

Andrews didn't think much of it; he was just asking casually. But even so, he didn't think Severus had much of a chance of finding the ghost he was looking for.

"Even excluding magical creatures, there are countless ordinary animals in the forest, so this is still a difficult task."

“I understand the difficulty, but this is an adventure, isn’t it?” Severus smiled. “It’s precisely because it’s so challenging that we’ll be even more surprised when we actually reap the rewards!”

Andrews was convinced by Severus's words, and his expression brightened.

"You're right! It's precisely because the road ahead is full of unknowns that someone needs to be the first to step out and become the first brave person to find a way out. That's the spirit of adventure!"

“My work here is also coming to an end, and I can set aside some time each day to provide you with the help you need.”

Upon hearing his agreement, Severus did not hesitate and took the initiative to ask.

"You've traveled extensively in the forests of Albania. Have you ever encountered any strange, ordinary animals, especially in areas where magical creatures don't live?" Andrews' expression became noticeably excited as he said this.

"If you ask me about the strange things I've encountered, I have a lot to say!"

Seeing his strong desire to express himself, Severus had to remind him.

"Ideally, it should be something strange related to animals or spirits."

"Of course, for example, some of the animals in this forest that we are in now, which Muggles call Logara National Park, are rather strange."

"Have you seen the eagle fighting the fire dragon?"

Almost every adventurer has a great way with words; they are quite good at telling stories, and with just one sentence, they can capture the attention of Lupin, Harry, and Draco.

"A fire dragon?" Draco exclaimed in surprise.

"An eagle?" Harry asked skeptically.

"Correct!"

Andrews described it vividly.

“I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes! Just across this valley, heading southeast, it takes about three or four days to reach the Dragon Nature Reserve jointly established by the Albanian and Greek Ministries of Magic, where about a dozen dragons live.”

"A year ago, not long after I started my research on the tribe that Lulu and the others lived in, I approached the protected area to get some Ella grass. There was a lot of this grass in that area, and the dragon's droppings were very nutritious for them."

"Besides me, I also have a giant with me. I named it Anderson. It's one of the more intelligent ones in this tribe. It likes to follow me when I go out and protect my safety."

"I was looking for the right Ella grass when I suddenly heard a huge roar, which terrified Anderson. I'd never seen him so scared before!"

"This is a troll! You all know what level of magical creature a troll is, right?"

Andrews suddenly looked at Harry and Draco, who were listening intently, and asked.

The two boys, neither of whom had ever attended school, instinctively shook their heads like rattles.

"Level xxxx!" Andrews emphasized loudly, "Although they are not as powerful as giants, they are the masters of the land in most cases. But at that time, Anderson was scared like a little mouse with nowhere to run!"

"I looked up at the sky, in the direction from which the roar came, but as soon as I raised my head, a small mountain blocked out the sky!"

Andrews stared wide-eyed at the boys.

"Guess what kind of dragon that is?"

Harry and Draco continued to shake their heads, goosebumps rising all over his body, completely absorbed in Andrews' story.

"That's a Ukrainian dragon! It's the world's largest fire dragon! It can weigh over 6 tons! When it flies in the sky, it looks like a floating mountain!"
