Chapter 230 Deception
Mia never expected to hear about the truck from Brian. It was clearly one of her family's biggest secrets. How did Brian know about it?
“What truck?” Mia shook off Brian’s hand with annoyance. “I don’t know what you’re talking about!”

"Mia, stop playing dumb!" Brian said urgently. "You know what your brother and the others are doing, right? Aren't they going to rob a truck?"

Brian has exposed himself.

Mia looked at him incredulously. "Brian, what are you talking about?"

"Take my advice and tell your brother and his gang to stop right now! Otherwise, their lives will be in danger!"

Brian was at a loss. On one side was Old Pigeon, whom he absolutely could not let down, and on the other side was Mia, whom he did not want to see go to their deaths.

How can we find a balance between these two?

Brian believed that as long as Torreto and the others let go, Old Pigeon wouldn't make things too difficult for them.

"What life-threatening danger? What nonsense are you spouting?" Mia questioned Brian with an unfriendly expression.

"Tell me first? Did Toretto and his gang rob a truck?" Brian asked anxiously. "Old Pigeon is the president of the truck drivers' union. He's been investigating those robbers. If he finds out that Toretto stole his stuff, he definitely won't let you off the hook!"

Mia's pupils contracted sharply. The president of the truck drivers' union?
That young man is actually the president?

"So you already knew he was coming to see Toreto?"

“We don’t know, Old Pigeon is just investigating! He won’t wrong any innocent person, nor will he let any thief go free!” Brian said helplessly. “I know Old Pigeon’s methods better than you do, Mia, you can’t beat Old Pigeon!”

"Brian, you've been lying to me all along? You came to our store just to investigate this?"

"Did I do anything wrong?!"

Brian questioned, "You stole Old Pigeon's truck, wasn't that your fault to begin with? Was Old Pigeon wrong to protect those truck drivers and cargo?"

Mia's eyes struggled for a moment. She knew Brian was right; she could accept it rationally, but not emotionally.

"Let me go! You liar!"

"What did I lie to you about? I swear to God, my feelings for you are real!"

Brian glanced at the time. "Mia, we're out of time! Old Pigeon has already arranged everything. If Torretto and the others go there now, they'll be walking into a trap! If you want them to come back safe and sound, you'd better come with me now and take me to find them!"

Mia looked at Brian with a complicated expression. Brian's voice softened. "Mia, you are the only one who can help Torreto and the others right now. Please, we have to stop them from committing further crimes. Please, trust me one more time. I absolutely have no intention of harming them."

Mia sighed, thinking of her brother's safety, and finally agreed to Brian's request.

"boarding."

"Sir, Torreto and the others have quietly left the competition venue."

Jack watched the cars drive away on the highway, then took out his walkie-talkie and reported to Vincent, "I secretly placed trackers on their cars, and now I can see their location."

"Well done! Jack, you passed your training day!"

Vincent thought to himself that a fish had taken the bait, and immediately arranged for the Los Angeles Police Department to investigate the situation.

"By the way, what about Luca? Did he leave too?" Vincent asked again.

"I saw him get into the RV with a beautiful woman, and they haven't come out yet."

"."

Vincent was speechless. He had been working so hard on this investigation, and Luca was just enjoying himself.
The interior of the RV was a complete mess.

Giselle, now a puddle of water, lay limply on the bed, her shapely body on full display, undeniably alluring.

"Luca, how long will you stay in Los Angeles?" Giselle turned to the side, gazing tenderly at the man lying beside her.

How long do you want me to stay?

“Can’t you be a little more proactive?” Giselle said. “Do you expect me to come to New York to find you? I’m too busy with work here to get away.”

"What's your job?"

"You work in finance at a Mexican company, what about you?"

"I own a club in New York."

"A sports car club?"

“No, a private club.” Luca briefly explained the club’s situation and mentioned its name.

Giselle thought to herself, "No wonder this guy seems to have plenty of money. Is he the club owner?"

"Why don't you consider opening one in Los Angeles too?"

"You're coming to be my accountant?" Giselle chuckled. Once she entered this line of work, leaving the organization wasn't so easy.
Having learned too many of Braga's secrets, he would never let him leave.

“Our company has a very strict confidentiality agreement, so leaving isn’t that easy,” Giselle said with a smile. “But if you have the opportunity to leave the company in the future, remember your invitation today.”

[Bond: Friends]

[Unlocking the "Temptation of Beauty"]

Luca thought to himself, "It shouldn't be too long. Once I take down Braga, the club will have another rare card."

Just then, a phone call came.

Lyon: "Toreto and the police have both started taking action."

Luca: "Wait for me to come."

"I can't get through on the phone."

On the way to find Toretto, Mia took out her phone and repeatedly called Toretto, but it was always switched off. "Their phones were always switched off when they were on the move."

Brian was extremely anxious. If he had connections with the government before, he could have located the suspect through the FBI's communication channels, but that was no longer possible.

Brian: "Do you know where they went?"

Mia, holding the map, said, "They hid the car behind a boiler factory and set off from there in the early morning."

Brian nodded and drove toward his destination, just then, the last thing he wanted to see, a phone call came in.

It's an old pigeon.

"Hey, old pigeon."

"Where are you? I don't see you. Where are Toreto and the others?"

“Old Pigeon, Toretto and his men have started their operation,” Brian said truthfully. “But I’m not sure exactly what they’re up to. I’m planning to go check it out now. Wait for my news.”

"Tell me the address, I'll come and take a look too."

"."

Brian's gone numb. He's not an old pigeon; does he really need to handle such a trivial matter personally?
The moment you appear, Toreto and his crew are definitely doomed.

"Old Pigeon, the situation is still uncertain."

"The address. I'll have Lyon go over there to assist you; otherwise, you can't handle the entire biker gang by yourself."

Brian was completely stunned; the security supervisor was too formidable.
"Okay, the address is..."

Under Mia's complicated gaze, Brian revealed the address.

After hanging up the phone, Mia asked anxiously, "Was it your boss? You told him everything?"

“Well, nothing can be hidden from Old Pigeon.” Brian sighed. “It’s best to be honest with him. I don’t want to deceive Old Pigeon either, but don’t worry, with me here, I won’t let Dom and the others get into trouble, as long as they stop in time.”

Mia covered her face in anguish. "I really don't know if what I'm doing is right or wrong. Can I still trust you? If something happens to Dom and the others, I'll feel guilty for the rest of my life."

“I know what kind of person Old Pigeon is. Since he didn’t take action against Dom immediately, but instead cooperated with him in business, it means that there is still a chance for things to turn around.”

Brian sighed, "Old Pigeon hates those who steal his truck. Maybe we can cooperate. Dom should know a lot about these motorcycle thieves in the Los Angeles underworld. If he's willing to help us catch those robbers, Old Pigeon will definitely let him go. Maybe we can even become friends."

This is the only way Brian can think of to resolve the conflict between Old Pigeon and Dom. He believes Old Pigeon will not refuse, but now it depends on whether Dom and the others agree.

Meanwhile, Luca had already driven away from the competition venue with Lyon.

“Brian, he finally softened up, but that’s more like him, isn’t it?” Luca shrugged, looking at Leon beside him. “If Brian wasn’t like this, we wouldn’t have become such good friends.”

Lyon recalled his time with the blond-haired guy over the past few years and nodded. "When he was in New York, he never cared about any woman like this, Old Pigeon. So what are you planning to do now? Take out Dom and the others?"

"No need, I'm not some kind of devil."

Luca shook his head. That's an immortal family. As long as Torreto is alive, they'll be hard to kill.

Now that I've made Dom, who's going to give me the invincibility buff?

“The police have also taken action,” Luca said. “We’re not here to kill him, we’re here to save them.”

Perhaps the fate of the racing family will be completely rewritten from this point onward.
