I've suddenly felt old lately because many people said they read my book "The Great Thief" when they were in junior high school.

I just realized that The Great Thief was a book written ten years ago.

Ten years have passed in a flash.

Those spirited young people have long since faded into the distance in the river of time…

I'm grateful to some friends who have been with me for ten years, and I'm also grateful to the constant influx of new friends who support me.

This is probably the author's last book on Chinese entertainment.

If one day I suddenly feel restless and want to write a novel with a 95-year-old or even a 00-year-old actress as the female lead, it's not impossible for that idea to be revived.

Based on some lessons learned from the previous book.

This book returns to my usual writing style.

I wanted to capture the feeling of 95, and to depict the hardships of a grassroots person's rebirth and their struggle to move forward against the tide.

However, how difficult can it be for a character to be a "hanging wall" (a character who has been reborn) and a "hanging wall" to be reborn?

His so-called hardships are nothing compared to the suffering we endure in reality.

I can only try my best to write something that will evoke memories for everyone.

I dislike unrestrained plagiarism; who could remember so many works after being reborn?

So they gave the protagonist a "cow bit," forcing him to work hard to copy what he wanted.

As we get older, we unconsciously start to feel self-critical, always thinking that this or that is unreasonable.

I once vowed to learn how to show off and slap people in the face.

I want to write something really "enjoyable".

However, as those who read my book know, I have been both trying and giving up.

People are always maturing and growing.

When an author's growth cannot keep up with the growth of their readers, they are destined to be abandoned.

Those who leave me behind and stride forward, it's not that I've changed, it's that you've grown up, and it's that I haven't kept up with you.

I have been writing books for over ten years.

Therefore, I am always anxious and worried that what I write may be outdated.

Fortunately, I still have some brothers who support me.

It allows me to continue this writing profession that both torments and delights me.

Many people have asked me questions about the female lead.

I thought for a long time about how to answer.

Those who know me well know that I don't use outlines. Even if I do write one, I'll most likely discard it at some point and continue to write freely. So, I actually don't know who the female lead is.

I can only tell you what I think today—what I think tomorrow is a matter for tomorrow.

I wasn't planning on writing a story with only one female lead, Lao Liu.

I have already written three books. Although I have tried very hard to portray different faces at different ages, a person is still a person, and their core remains unchanged.

If we don't write about Lao Liu as the sole female lead, I don't know who else can carry the role of a single female lead.

I just can't figure it out, no matter how hard I try.

So I want to try writing a story with two female protagonists.

Three female leads wouldn't be a problem, but I probably couldn't handle more than that.

The authors I admire most are Geng Su and Wu Zei.

They are all very good at portraying female characters.

Unfortunately, I've never been able to grasp the essence of it; two or three is probably my limit.
