Chapter 51 The Online World

Chapter 51 The Online World
As soon as the other party finished speaking, the computer fortune teller had already generated today's dialing number: 1423221.

Seeing this, the others rushed to a nearby iron rod, grabbed it, and worked together to dial a number using the disc on the ceiling, just like dialing a phone.

"Wow, you can do that?" Zhang Wenda also ran over to help.

After the shaking was finished, everyone else scattered, but nothing changed in the surroundings.

Just when Zhang Wenda thought the Taoist priest was a fraud, he returned the way he came and immediately saw a scene that was beyond his expectations.

Compared to the old, dilapidated streets before him, what now appeared before Zhang Wenda was a chaotic yet spectacular scene.

Looking out, the sky was a chaotic mosaic, with all sorts of characters and codes floating in the air, and even some flying worms.

At this moment, there is no ground here, only an endless expanse of black "soil" composed of a dense torrent of binary code consisting of 0s and 1s.

Following the binary soil, Zhang Wenda saw a hill on the horizon that looked like a huge, bloated "recycle bin" icon, with broken icons and file fragments constantly falling out from its cracked surface.

"Wow!" Zhang Wenda was stunned. The oddities in the online world were no less than those in the adult world.

Fortunately, Zhang Wenda had seen it all before, so he wasn't as easily startled as he had been before. After calming down, he looked at his aunt standing to the side.

"Thank you, Auntie. I need to find something to enhance my strength. Where should I look? It can be anything, whether it's special abilities or qigong."

Upon hearing this, Auntie didn't immediately lead the way. Instead, she said seriously, "Kid, I can take you there, but first, there are some things you must abide by regarding the internet."

"You said."

"First of all, there are many hostile people here. Try to avoid contact with other people. If you approach us rashly, they might have ulterior motives."

"I understand. Didn't you already say that before? I've written down what you said. Now I just want to ask one question: if we die here, are we really dead?"

Upon hearing this, Auntie immediately became serious.

Upon seeing his aunt slowly nod, Zhang Wenda immediately became extremely alert. Sure enough, high returns come with high risks.

"Do you remember everything? Okay, let's go this way." Auntie walked towards the progress bars on the soil not far away.

As Zhang Wenda followed suit and grabbed the progress bar, the surrounding environment rushed past him as the progress bar moved rapidly, as if he were on a high-speed train.

"You can do that?!" Zhang Wenda exclaimed in surprise to his aunt, braving the strong wind.

The aunt, who had shielded Song Jianguo behind her, smugly snorted. "You underestimate me, don't you? Hmph, I've bled more blood than you've eaten rice."

This was completely unfamiliar territory. Zhang Wenda didn't care about anything else and quickly looked around, trying his best to adapt to the environment.

As the progress bar slides rapidly, various environments appear one after another, including cities, rivers, mountains, and even ruins.

As he approached the ruins, Zhang Wenda spotted a sign. In the fleeting moment it appeared, he managed to make out the inscription: "Site of ancient northerners hunting southerners."

"What the heck?" The sheer amount of information left Zhang Wenda somewhat bewildered.

Before he could even comprehend what was happening, Zhang Wenda saw a sign on a digitally rendered green grassland: "Welcome to the Republic of Arminos."

Meanwhile, the Taoist priest Tao, whom he had met once before, was standing on the plains of Aminos, wearing his hat askew and singing hip-hop rap.

"Oh, you're not even a QQ member, how can you compete with me..."

"What is all this?" Zhang Wenda was bewildered by the chaotic information.

But soon, he had to stop. There was just too much, too much chaos, and he couldn't possibly remember it all. Seeing this, his aunt couldn't help but chuckle along with Song Jianguo. "Kid," she said, "you can't watch everything online. Just focus on your own things, or you'll never be able to keep up."

"Why didn't you say so earlier?" Zhang Wenda shook his head, trying to get rid of as much useless knowledge as possible.

"I'll punish you for bullying Mimi."

"Where are we going now?" Zhang Wenda continued to ask.

"When you go to a city, there should be an information desk there where you can find what you're looking for!"

Before Zhang Wenda could speak, the progress bar under his feet suddenly came to an abrupt halt, and Zhang Wenda and the others were thrown out.

Upside down, he saw a huge neon sign that read, "MD Beauty City." He was certain he wasn't mistaken; it was indeed the beautiful beauty.

"What's going on?" Zhang Wenda had just struggled to get up when suddenly everything went dark. When he looked up, he immediately saw a "Mom" character taller than twice his height coming straight at him.

"Danger!" Zhang Wenda shoved his feet into the ground and lunged forward.

Just as he dodged the giant "Mom" character, the "Get" character followed closely behind and came crashing down.

After arriving behind a mosaic-covered bunker, Zhang Wenda cautiously peeked out and looked outside. What he saw made him realize that the entire city was in complete chaos.

All sorts of people opened their mouths and started cursing at each other, all the profanities they uttered turning into tangible words that rained down on the enemy.

Various highly explicit texts flew and collided everywhere in the sky and on the ground, completely smashing the once beautiful neon city into a mess, with towering buildings collapsing to the ground, turning the place into a fierce battlefield.

"Are you sure we're looking for this place?" Zhang Wenda asked in shock.

However, Aunt Flo was clearly very surprised at this moment, "It wasn't like this when Mimi and I had our periods before."

Hearing this, Zhang Wenda got angry, "Can't you be a little more reliable?!"

Aunt Flo immediately denied any involvement. "How was I supposed to know it would turn out like this? Is it my fault? I only had my period once."

"Watch out!" Song Jianguo pointed overhead, and two curses collided above their heads, their fragments raining down on them like a meteor shower.

The black cats quickly transformed into a large black umbrella, blocking the profanities and protecting the three people.

Peeking out from behind the large umbrella, Zhang Wenda breathed a sigh of relief upon discovering it was a false alarm. Too lazy to argue in this situation, he quickly determined his bearings and said to the other two, "Let's go, let's get out of this city first. It's too dangerous here!"

"Kid, I forgot to mention something: in the online world, some things can't be compared to the rules of the real world."

"Do you even need to tell me?! I'm not blind! I wouldn't be surprised if anything happened here!"

As soon as Zhang Wenda finished speaking, his foot slipped and he kicked a ceramic teacup at his feet. Accompanied by a puff of black smoke, a man dressed in a Zhongshan suit and wearing tortoiseshell glasses, who looked like an old leader, emerged from it.

The man who emerged from the ceramic teacup had mist rising from his lower body, while his upper body was also holding a white ceramic teacup in his hand.

Floating in the air, he looked down at the astonished Zhang Wenda, took a sip of tea, and solemnly said, "Young man, hello! I am the Genie!"

"Huh?! We actually ran into a genie here?!"

Zhang Wenda was stunned, but he was quickly overjoyed. It was the genie! He already knew what the genie was going to say next! He was going to grant him three wishes!

Under Zhang Wenda's expectant gaze, the genie spoke. "Young man, since you have released me, very well, so you need to grant me three wishes."
