Chapter 81 I Will Create a Brand New Order! (Please read on!)

Zeus gently shook his head, a smile returning to his face: "Justice cannot be desecrated, and order cannot be violated."

"Forcing the noble goddess of justice and order to go against her will is not something any deity should do."

"I have come to visit you today not to involve you in this war, but simply to discuss with you the future order of the universe."

"You should also be able to see that the current order of the god-king Cronus has become so corrupt that it can no longer conceal its stench."

"Therefore, it is imperative and urgent to establish a new order, a better order, an order that can maintain the peaceful coexistence of all gods and living beings in the universe."

"Of course you shouldn't betray the order, but when I establish a new order that truly conforms to the principles of justice in the future, can you defend that new order for me?"

The alluring Themis smiled gently and countered, "Are you so confident that you will definitely achieve final victory?"

Zeus smiled confidently, his eyes gleaming with unwavering resolve: "For I firmly believe that justice and free will will ultimately triumph! And corruption, greed, and cruelty will be utterly destroyed!"

"What I want to create is a truly fair and just order! An order that allows all living beings to live harmoniously in this world!"

"I will not allow any living being to harm this world at will. I will treat all conflicts in the universe fairly and justly, and I will forever defend fairness and justice! I will establish a completely new, truly sacred and just order!"

"I will represent the will of the gods, so that all gods and all living beings in the universe may enjoy peace and tranquility, and fully enjoy all the good things the world brings in this beautiful world!"

Themis gazed silently into Zeus's firm and confident eyes, her heart deeply moved.

However, her flawless face remained impassive. The goddess of justice knew that justice was done, not spoken.

The final outcome will depend on Zeus's future actions!

Even so, her attitude towards Zeus became noticeably more polite.

The flawless Themis asked earnestly, "Honorable Zeus, what kind of new order do you wish to establish?"

Zeus replied slowly and earnestly, “The great mother goddess Gaia created all living things; the great father god Uranus bestowed upon all things spirituality. When the high heavens separated from the earth, all things thus gained free will.”

"Free will should belong to all living beings, but unrestricted freedom will only lead to indulgence, ultimately resulting in destruction and endless struggle."

True freedom is not about doing whatever you want, but about having the ability to refuse to do what you don't want to do, and having the right to say 'no'!

Therefore, my new order will follow these three core principles:

"First, neither the gods nor all spirits should wantonly destroy the world. The world is the embodiment of the great Mother Goddess, and we should build the world and make it a better place, rather than harm our Mother Goddess."

"Neither the gods nor all spirits are allowed to act arbitrarily, nor are they allowed to harm, destroy, or coerce other living beings at will. Even the gods must not overstep this limit."

"Second, each god enjoys his own honor, which other gods may not seize by force; the authority of the gods is sacred and inviolable." "Third, the gods are allowed to freely conceive new laws and enjoy corresponding honor in the world. However, this is only allowed within the scope of their own authority, or where it does not conflict with or relate to the authority of other gods."

"I will never allow any deity to destroy or devour other laws, nor will I allow the laws of other deities to be eroded in any form, and all gods must resolutely fulfill the obligations corresponding to their respective powers."

"If a dispute arises among the gods, they will jointly adjudicate it to ensure fairness."

After Zeus finished reciting these three principles, he looked at Themis seriously and continued, "These are my three principles, and everyone, including myself, must strictly abide by them. I have come to visit you today to sincerely invite you to join Olympus in the future."

"Not now, but in the future after the new order is established."

"In the future, Olympus will become the center of order in the universe. All conflicts in the universe will be under my supervision, witnessed by your embodiment of order, and judged by the gods, who will give just rewards and punishments. We will gradually improve all order and make it perfect."

"Revered Order, Immaculate Justice, you are an indispensable and great being in the universe. I sincerely invite you to protect the world and uphold justice."

"I ask that you assist me in governing the universe and maintaining its stability in the future. I also ask that you supervise all my actions at all times so that I may always adhere to the laws of justice and not go astray."

Themis listened quietly, her heart filled with a deep longing for the grand blueprint of the future universe that Zeus had described.

However, her flawless face remained calm and composed, revealing not a trace of emotion.

It wasn't until Zeus spoke those last words that she was deeply shaken and couldn't help but ask, "Are you telling the truth?"

Zeus nodded emphatically and said decisively, "It comes from the bottom of my heart, it is absolutely true, and there is no falsehood in it."

The beautiful Themis couldn't help but frown slightly, and said with a hint of inquiry, "Do you know how much power you've given me with these words? Do you know how much power you've relinquished as the king of the gods?"

Upon hearing this, Zeus burst into laughter: "Beautiful goddess Themis, I am the son of the king of the gods, the son of Rhea. How could you doubt whether I understand the true meaning of power?"

"It is precisely because I understand the nature of power so well that I make this request to you so solemnly."

Zeus's expression turned serious again: "Uranus, the father of the gods, and Cronus, the king of the gods, one possesses infinite power, and the other possesses almost infinite power."

"But precisely because of this, holy Themis, look at what they ultimately became after possessing this unlimited power?"

"If power is not checked and limited, then no matter how heroic or benevolent a god-king may have been, he will inevitably fall and become the most terrible disaster for all living beings in the universe."

“Holy Themis, please allow me to speak my most sincere words: even I cannot guarantee that if I possessed unlimited power, I would not ultimately repeat the mistakes of the two ancient god-kings.”

“I know all too well that power is a poison; while it poisons others, it also corrodes the container that holds it.”

"Therefore, from the very beginning, I decided to relinquish that unlimited power!"
