Greece: I am Zeus!

Chapter 80 Goddess of Divine Justice and Order

Chapter 80 Goddess of Sacred Justice and Order (Fifth update, please continue reading~)

As the goddess of order, she has completely abandoned the old, corrupt order.

At this moment, she must also carefully examine and scrutinize this potentially emerging new order.

If even the new order is not worth defending, then she will have a real headache and not know what to do.

She sighed inwardly again: I hope that Cronus' son will not be like Cronus, and it would be best if the son was unlike his father!
To show her respect and regard for Zeus, she personally came out of the palace to greet him.

The goddess of divine justice, her flawless white robes swaying gently in the wind, her golden hair cascading down like a waterfall, shimmering with a soft glow under the divine light.

Her steps were dignified and precise, each step being perfectly equal in length, neither too fast nor too slow, neither too big nor too small.

Her voice was clear and elegant: "Noble son of Rhea, welcome. Please come into the hall for a talk."

When Zeus saw the goddess of justice dressed in flawless white, he was truly amazed!
He secretly admired her: No wonder Themis, the goddess of justice and order, is also known as "the alluring Themis".

If she didn't maintain a serious demeanor, her beauty and charm would make it difficult for people to feel her dignified and awe-inspiring presence as a righteous person.

She is so beautiful!

She is the embodiment of order and the embodiment of justice; every inch of her is so perfect and flawless, untouched by the dust of the world.

Because true justice must be pure and flawless!
Justice is inviolable, hence its sacredness and majesty; justice conforms to moral truth, hence its compassion and mercy; justice upholds fairness and impartiality, hence its warm and beautiful nature.

Every civilization that possesses order will inevitably pursue fairness and justice.

This was reflected on her pure and flawless maiden body, transforming into a captivating beauty.

Her face was beautiful and flawless, truly perfect, yet her beauty carried a subtle, almost imperceptible, charm and gentleness.

Yet, deep within those beautiful golden eyes, between her brows, lay a sharp and resolute gaze.

The two seemingly contradictory qualities are so naturally and harmoniously unified in her, forming a kind of inexplicable beauty of opposites and unity.

Simply because sacred justice is inherently beautiful!
Sacred justice must be unwavering!

Sacred justice is inherently inviolable!

Majesty and sanctity, gentleness and charm, never conflict in the embodiment of justice!

For Zeus, who aspired to rule over all and become the king of the gods, order held an almost infinite allure.

Because the essence of governance is to establish and maintain order.

Courage was the beginning of all His work, and wisdom was the foundation of His ultimate victory.

However, that beautiful and pure order, that sacred and awe-inspiring justice, is the foundation for His future rule over the universe!
This beautiful goddess of justice has brilliant golden hair similar to Zeus's, clear golden eyes just like His, and even the color of her lips has a light golden hue.

She always wore a flawless white dress, so pure that there wasn't a single blemish.

At this moment, to show respect to Zeus, she did not hold her divine weapons, the scales and sword that symbolize judgment and power.

Zeus followed her into the temple, and after they were seated, Themis, who was called "alluring," was not at all as delicate and soft as her appearance suggested.

The words that came from her golden lips were incredibly powerful and resolute.

The goddess of justice spoke frankly and directly to Zeus: "Son of the noble queen Rhea, I welcome you. However, if you expect me to help you join this war to overthrow Cronus, then I must refuse."

“I cannot violate sacred justice and the principles I uphold, nor can I betray the oath I made to the God-King and the existing order of the universe.”

"No order better than the current one has yet appeared. No matter how much I despise the current order, I cannot betray the existing one."

"No matter how bad the order, it is better than no order at all."

"As a guardian of order, I cannot betray it under any pretext!"

True justice always seeks the straight path, not the crooked one.

Hypocrisy, duplicity, and double-dealing are things that Themis could never do, even if she were to perish.

There are many things that she cannot prevent from happening, but she will never go along with them or get involved!
Justice may seem powerless in the face of absolute power, but it will never yield to it.

Justice that champions power is not justice at all!
Even more terrifying is that if justice uses its own name to do things that violate justice and order, that would be the most profound disaster in the world.

Even if it stems from a truly righteous action, justice should never betray its own principles because of it!

Themis truly practiced this.

She is currently uncertain about the kind of order Zeus will bring in the future, so she chooses to remain neutral and wait and see how things develop.

In this moment of chaos, the only thing she could do was to stop providing any assistance to the flawed order and steadfastly uphold her own sense of justice.

But she must never overthrow the order in the name of justice.

Faced with Themis's firm stance, Zeus's smile gradually faded, and his expression became solemn and serious.

Themis's approach may seem outdated, but it was actually entirely correct.

Justice that is too flexible is unlikely to be true justice.

He said in an extremely serious and solemn tone: "Honorable Lady Themis, I respect you as much as I respect the great Mother Goddess Gaia, the Lady of Night Nyx, and my Mother Goddess Rhea."

"I respect your justice and fairness, your unwavering commitment to your oaths and principles, and even more so, everything you have done to maintain cosmic order."

"Therefore, I would never ask you to do anything that violates order and justice."

"Here, in the name of Mother Goddess Rhea, and even more so in the name of you, Holy Goddess of Justice, I swear that I will never ask you to do anything unjust!"

"As the embodiment of order, you should be the one to uphold it!"

"No matter what kind of order it is, any god can overthrow it, but you alone cannot do such a thing!"

Upon hearing this, Themis breathed a sigh of relief, and her opinion of Zeus instantly rose several levels.

The son of Cronus seems quite different from Cronus!

A smile, unseen for a long time, appeared on her stunningly beautiful face, and in that instant, it seemed as if the whole world had gained extra brilliance because of it!
Her tone softened considerably: "Your magnanimity is admirable. Thank you for your understanding and respect."

"Here I also assure you that while I will not betray the old order, I will never defy true justice!"
