Chapter 55 Goddess of the Night
The goddess of the night before me was still shrouded in a thin veil of darkness, except for the removal of the veil covering her head.

The goddess has jet-black hair and deep black eyes, and her lips are a seductive black-red like blood. She herself is the embodiment of the pitch-black night.

Zeus laughed and said, “Honorable Lady of the Night, a feast is being held in the temple. The gods would be honored if they knew of your arrival. I sincerely invite you to join us in the feast and celebrate this grand occasion. It would be the greatest glory for Olympus.”

Nyx smiled slightly, a smile like a night-blooming cereus in the darkness, and said softly, "Thank you for your kindness. There will be an opportunity to feast with the gods in your temple in the future. I look forward to that day, which will surely be a glorious celebration of the new order."

She changed the subject, "But today is probably not the time. The ancient god-king is unaware that we have become acquainted, and this secret connection may be more advantageous for us at the moment."

Zeus nodded in understanding: "Your Majesty the Night, you are right. That is precisely why I did not dare to visit you, lest I cause any unnecessary trouble."

He paused, his tone becoming even more solemn, and nodded, saying, "I wonder what important matter brings you here today?"

Nyx's smile faded slightly, and she spoke softly, her tone like a gentle breeze in a quiet garden: "Your Excellency, the future God-King, I have come today to inquire about the place of night in the cosmic order you envision for the future."

Zeus straightened his face, his expression becoming solemn and dignified.

He said solemnly, “Respected Lady of the Night, I will forever remember your help and will never forget it in the slightest.”

"In the new order of the future, darkness is an indispensable foundation of the universe, the cornerstone of balance. I sincerely invite you, Madam, to share the supreme honor of the universe with the gods and jointly evolve the glory of the new order of the future."

Nyx parted her lips slightly but did not reply. She spoke calmly to herself, "Back then, the Mother of All Things invited me to rebel against the Lord of the Sky. At that time, Cronus promised me that the gods would share the glory of the universe."

She curled her lips into a slight smile, a mocking glint that stood out starkly in the darkness: "He did indeed keep his promise, but only I, the sole god, can claim that honor, and that honor..."

Nyx smiled and asked, "It sounds much better than the current order of the gods. So, son of Cronus, what if conflicts arise among the gods? How should they be judged?"

Zeus responded solemnly: "We have Themis, the goddess of divine justice and order, whose fairness and impartiality are trusted and witnessed by all the gods."

"At that time, I will invite all the gods to work together to formulate laws that conform to their own will, ensuring that every rule is fair and reasonable and has the approval of all the gods."

"If there is any conflict among the gods, then let them decide together before me and the goddess of divine justice and order!"

Nyx nodded slightly and continued with a smile, "How wonderful it is that the gods can share the world."
