Chapter 401 I Want to Pursue You

Cheng Jue entered the private room and then looked back at Su Miaoyi: "Aren't you coming in?"

"I don't really want to go in," Su Miaoyi said, revealing her true feelings.

As soon as she said that, Cheng Jue took a long step back and left the private room.

Su Miaoyi: "?"

Cheng Jue looked at her.

Su Miaoyi: "I'm still your sister, would I ever harm you?"

"What do you mean you're still my sister?" Cheng Jue looked at her strangely. "Does that mean you're no longer my sister once you're in this private room?"

"Are you two coming in or not?" Xi Xian walked over and stood at the door. "What? Do you think I'm going to eat people? Do you think I can eat two people in one bite?"

Cheng Jue suddenly heard Su Miaoyi's voice ringing out in the private room again.

Su Miaoyi was clearly standing in front of him, but her voice came from behind him. He turned around abruptly and saw Xi Xian standing in the doorway.

Cheng Jue looked completely bewildered. He glanced at Xi Xian for a few seconds, then turned to look at Su Miaoyi.

He glanced at Su Miaoyi and then at Xi Xian.

After looking at Xi Xian, he turned to Su Miaoyi.

Su Miaoyi: "."

Xi Xian coughed lightly: "Alright, alright, it's been over a year since I last saw you, I don't even recognize your sister anymore."

"What, what's going on?" Cheng Jue looked at Su Miaoyi. "You can't just find someone who looks like my sister to comfort me, can you?"

Su Miaoyi looked at Xi Xian.

Xi Xian nodded and smiled, then stood on tiptoe, grabbed Cheng Jue by the collar, and pulled him into the private room.

The moment Cheng Jue was pulled inside, he grabbed Su Miaoyi's arm and dragged her into the private room as well.

Su Miaoyi pushed the door open and closed it.

The three of them stopped, and Su Miaoyi patted Cheng Jue on the shoulder: "I wouldn't do something like that just to comfort you. She is Su Miaoyi, she is your sister."

Cheng Jue looked at Xi Xian.

Xi Xian leaned closer to him and looked at him: "Take a good look at me, am I more beautiful than I was a year ago?"

Cheng Jue then looked at Su Miaoyi.

Xi Xian straightened up and frowned: "What? She's the older sister now, right? You listen to her but not me."

Su Miaoyi said, "Anyway, you can think of it as Su Miaoyi being reborn. Her name is Xixian now."

Cheng Jue didn't understand.

Su Miaoyi and Xi Xian began to explain to Cheng Jue, one sentence at a time.

The three of them talked from the door of the private room to the sofa inside.

After speaking, Su Miaoyi and Xi Xian drank a glass of water together.

"My throat is burning." Xi Xian leaned back on the sofa.

Su Miaoyi looked at Cheng Jue.

Hearing what the two of them said, Cheng Jue was completely stunned and sat motionless on the sofa.

Xi Xian turned his head, bypassing Cheng Jue and completely ignoring him, and looked at Su Miaoyi: "What do you want to eat?"

"Let's take a look at the menu," Su Miaoyi said.

"I saw online that their steak is cooked in a very special way and it tastes amazing," Xi Xian said.

“Point,” Su Miaoyi said.

“His family also has a huge blue lobster,” Xi Xian said.

“Point,” Su Miaoyi said.

"And another thing..." Before Xi Xian could finish speaking, Cheng Jue suddenly burst into tears.

Su Miaoyi watched as Cheng Jue covered his face.

Xi Xian sat up straight immediately. Oh no, it's starting!
She quickly looked for tissues.

Su Miaoyi pushed the tissue box off the table, stood up, and ran away.

Xi Xian watched her dash out of the private room, as if she were afraid of being left behind if she lingered even a second longer: "You..."

"Sister!" Cheng Jue cried out, covering his face.

Xi Xian looked at him, took out a few tissues and stuffed them into his hand: "Don't cry, don't cry."

"Sister, I thought I'd never see you again." Cheng Jue sobbed uncontrollably. "But we've met again, don't cry." Xi Xian seemed a little helpless. "Don't cry."

Cheng Jue sobbed.

Xi Xian gestured wildly in the air before finally patting his back: "It's okay to cry for a while, don't keep crying. Actually, it's good to have Qin Leyan as your older sister, she's a very nice person and takes better care of people than I do."

Cheng Jue cried even harder.

Xi Xian quickly shut up, afraid that he would cry even harder.

Half an hour passed, and Cheng Jue still showed no sign of stopping.

Xi Xian looked at him, paused, and said, "Will I still be able to eat a super-sized blue lobster today?"

Cheng Jue sobbed twice and looked at her: "Do we have to eat it today?"

"I kind of want to eat it," Xi Xian said.

Cheng Jue wiped away his tears and sobbed twice more: "Then you can cry after you finish eating."

Xi Xian: "??? You dare?"

Cheng Jue paused for a moment before asking, "When are you going back to see your parents?"

"After you finish eating," Xi Xian said, "you can go back and have another cry."

"Oh."

"Stop crying." Xi Xian looked at Cheng Jue. "How old are you? Still crying like a child."

“I was crying very quietly just now,” Cheng Jue said.

"You're quite proud of yourself, aren't you?"

"Mm." Cheng Jue nodded.

Xi Xian nudged him from behind the head.

Su Miaoyi was chatting with Di Jia in the lounge area.

There's a lounge area on this floor where people can have drinks and some parents are playing with their children.

Su Miaoyi came out of the private room and sat down here to order a drink. Not long after, Di Jia arrived.

The two chatted for a while.

“Jinghai is indeed a nice place, and I’m planning to settle here,” Di Jia said.

“Jiangcheng is also very good, it’s developing very quickly,” Su Miaoyi said.

Dijia looked at her: "Then would you be willing to live there long-term?"

"Me?" Su Miaoyi said, "I don't think I'll be transferred to any new job."

After she finished speaking, she looked at him and asked, "What do you mean? Why are you asking me these questions?"

Di Jia smiled gently: "My brother said you don't have a boyfriend, so I'd like to try pursuing you."

Su Miaoyi was surprised: "This is only the third time we've met, right? You don't even know me, yet you want to pursue me?"

“I trust my first impression,” Di Jia said.

Su Miaoyi looked at him, paused, and said, "I'm sorry, I have no plans to be in a relationship."

“No need to be embarrassed, we can get to know each other first,” Di Jia said.

"No need. I'm not just making excuses to be polite; I really have no plans to be in a relationship." Su Miaoyi thought for a moment and said, "What I mean is that if you spend your time on me, it's a waste of your time, and it's not worth it."

Di Jia's phone rang.

Su Miaoyi stood up: "My family is still waiting for me. I'm going back to the private room."

Di Jia also got up, intending to catch up with her, but then her phone rang. She took it out and went to a quieter place to answer the call.

Su Miaoyi heard something fall to the ground and turned her head to look.

I saw a car key on the ground.

She glanced at Di Jia's retreating figure again, then walked over and picked up the car keys.

She had just stood up straight with her car keys in her hand when she suddenly saw a scene.

A man handed the car keys to Dijia.

Say to Dijia, "Thanks to your car today."

Di Jia smiled politely, and opened his mouth as if to speak, but the scene froze there.

Su Miaoyi didn't hear what Di Jia said before she looked away from the screen.
