Chapter 77 Jealous

Chapter 77 Jealous

Su Ruoyun had never seen such a narcissistic man, who used his appearance as a source of pride, and was not ashamed at all when he was called a "pervert," but rather proud of it.

Seeing her puffed-up expression, Huo Jingcheng curled his lips and lazily lifted his right leg, placing it on a low table to the side.

Because of Huo Jingcheng's sudden movement, Su Ruoyun slid down from his knees to his waist and hips, crashing into his hard body. Her delicate figure entwined with Huo Jingcheng like vines, intimately pressed together, their most sensitive spots touching.

Because of the close proximity, she suddenly noticed something unusual, and her eyes widened instantly like a deer's, filled with surprise and helplessness.

I'm already in my mid-twenties, and I've never even eaten pork, but I've certainly seen a pig run.

Huo Jingcheng, on the other hand, remained calm and composed, seemingly unaware of the awkwardness of being noticed. Instead, he naturally put his arm around her slender waist and gently pressed her down.

The vital point is getting closer and closer.

Su Ruoyun felt his movement in disbelief, and looked at the man in front of her with panicked eyes, like a frightened bird, no longer daring to stay on his lap for even a second longer.

She swallowed nervously, then hurriedly braced herself against his shoulders with both hands, trying to get up.

As she leaned forward, a few stray strands of hair mischievously slipped out, falling from her shoulders and inadvertently brushing against Huo Jingcheng's face. A faint, cool fragrance of gardenias wafted into his nostrils.

Huo Jingcheng didn't stop her and let her do as she pleased.

Everything around seemed to have been silenced, and a silent play was being performed in the lounge, with only Su Ruoyun as the actor.

Just as Su Ruoyun finally managed to get up and was about to leave Huo Jingcheng's embrace, Huo Jingcheng stretched out his long arm and pulled her back into his arms, making her sit on his lap. His large hand landed on her waist through her clothes, his palm slightly tightening, carrying an irresistible force.

"You pervert, let go!"

Su Ruoyun pounded on Huo Jingcheng's shoulders with both hands, making muffled thuds, and twisted her body, trying to break free of his restraints, but the man was too strong, and she could only passively sit between his legs.

After hitting her for a while, until her hands ached, Su Ruoyun still didn't let go. She was deflated, like a bird whose bones had been removed. All her strength to struggle vanished instantly, and she could only huddle there listlessly, without any energy.

Seeing that she had calmed down obediently, Huo Jingcheng raised his hand and gently brushed a stray strand of hair from her cheek, twirling it between his fingers and playing with it slowly. "Have you been busy lately? You're never here when I go to the teahouse."

"Yes, I've been busy with Grandpa's birthday banquet lately." Su Ruoyun was extremely uneasy. Even though Huo Jingcheng hadn't done anything out of line, she was still afraid that she would be devoured by a certain snow wolf.

His warm breath sprayed onto her neck, tickling her yet carrying an indescribable sense of pressure, as if it were alive, roaming freely over her skin.

It seems... Huo Jingcheng is looking for a good place to enter.

Ultimately, when it comes to sheer strength, Su Ruoyun is no match for Huo Jingcheng.

As the saying goes, "When you're in someone's palm, you have no choice but to bow your head."

"Could you...could you let go first?" Su Ruoyun said gently.

Huo Jingcheng leaned down and inhaled her fragrance several times, relieving the inexplicable itch in his throat. Then, he casually leaned back in the sofa and put his arm around her, his deep eyes slightly narrowed, his gaze unfathomable, without answering her question. "Was the wine good tonight?" His voice was deep, and if you listened carefully, you could detect a hint of dissatisfaction.

He was sitting at the head table tonight, watching up close as a group of men kept toasting Su Ruoyun, and he felt very uncomfortable.

The topic suddenly changed, and Su Ruoyun didn't think of anything else. She thought the man was going to nitpick about the taste of the wine, so she immediately said, "It's delicious. My second uncle brought these wines back from abroad not long ago."

A while ago, Su Zhanyu was expanding his business abroad. There happened to be a world-renowned winery there, and he brought back a batch of wines with him when he returned to China.

Seeing her completely oblivious and bewildered expression, Huo Jingcheng was furious inside, but he had to pretend to be nonchalant and asked in a low voice, "Is that so?"

“Yes,” Su Ruoyun said as if she wanted to prove it herself. After all, Huo Jingcheng was a guest who came to celebrate her birthday, so she couldn’t let him find fault with her. She added, “I drank quite a lot tonight.”

Upon hearing this, Huo Jingcheng felt an inexplicable anger surge up in his heart, and he pressed his tongue against his palate, grinding his teeth.

Tonight is a birthday banquet, and with so many people around, leaving marks on the neck would be too conspicuous, and leaving marks on the mouth would be even more obvious...

His eyes seemed to be pondering where to strike first. Su Ruoyun felt a sense of danger, like thorns in her back. Her body reacted faster than her mind, and she unconsciously dodged backward.

Huo Jingcheng saw her movement, raised his eyebrows, suddenly reached out, grabbed her arm, and swiftly and decisively brought it to his mouth.

Immediately afterwards, he leaned over and, without hesitation, lowered his head and took a hard bite into the soft skin between her elbows and arms.

Su Ruoyun felt a sharp pain; the sudden, intense pain made her gasp, "Hiss..."

She quickly snatched the "food" from his mouth, pulling her arm out from between his teeth, and without hesitation cursed, "Are you crazy?"

Huo Jingcheng was pushed by her and leaned back against the backrest. He looked at her silently for a few seconds, then raised his hand and gently traced the teeth marks he had left on her arm with his fingertips. His voice was low and husky as he asked, "You really don't remember me?"

Su Ruoyun clicked her tongue impatiently and moved her arm away to avoid his fingers that he wanted to touch.

She raised her right hand, her fingertips gently stroking the 'wound,' not even bothering to look at him, her tone somewhat nonchalant: "What should I remember about you?"

As she spoke, she lowered her head and gently breathed on the bite marks on her arm.

Huo Jingcheng's bite was quite forceful, leaving a clear oval bite mark on his fair arm, like an indelible brand. The edges of the bite mark were sunken and tinged with a light red.

She blew on it for a while, and the surroundings were so quiet that she could only hear her own breathing before she realized that Huo Jingcheng had stopped talking.

Su Ruoyun lifted her eyelids and tentatively glanced at him, only to see the man staring at her without blinking, his deep eyes filled with a meaning she couldn't understand.

When their eyes met, she frowned in confusion.

A flash of inspiration struck, and from the cracks deep in my memory, I could vaguely glimpse the scene from back then.
