"That 'Fairy Tail' is indeed difficult to deal with."

Back in his lavishly decorated home, Moen Darkning poured himself a glass of wine while pondering the matter of "Fairy Tail".

That mage guild was quite famous throughout Edolas, especially after they became the last survivors.

Nowadays, even ordinary soldiers of the Kingdom Army are familiar with the members of Fairy Tail, and they can even recognize their faces. This has further squeezed Fairy Tail's living space and made it increasingly dangerous for them to travel.

Even so, Erza Knightworth still failed to defeat Fairy Tail.

Moen Darkning knew that it wasn't that Erza Knightworth was weak, but rather that Fairy Tail was too resilient.

The reason he didn't take the job was certainly not because he had a good relationship with Erza Knightworth; in fact, their relationship was just so-so, and they were even somewhat competitive.

Logically, given this relationship, he should have taken over Erza Knightworth's task and done what she couldn't accomplish. But Moen Darkning didn't do that because he was worried he wouldn't be able to do it either. That would have been doing Erza Knightworth a favor and would have absolved her of her previous incompetence.

"That's good. The longer Fairy Tail drags things out, the better. They can't really cause any trouble anyway; they can only annoy the King and Erza Knightworth. Fairy Tail's existence is actually advantageous to me."

Taking a sip of his wine and settling into a comfortable sofa, Moen Daknin laughed as he considered even more options.

For example, he could wait until Erza Knightworth had exhausted Fairy Tail before taking the peach.

"Hahahahaha!"

Thinking of this, and of Erza Knightworth's expression back then, Moen Darkning couldn't help but burst into loud laughter, the wild laughter echoing through the now spacious living room.

"What happened? Why are you so happy?"

A voice rang out, interrupting Moen Darkning's laughter; the words sounded so jarring amidst the echoing laughter.

For a moment, Moen Daknin was in a daze, because the voice of those words sounded as if he himself had spoken them.

In fact, the reason why Moen was immediately drawn to the conversation between Bairo and Moen Daknin was because their voices were extremely similar, almost identical.

Of course, the two people have some differences in their way of speaking, word choice, tone of voice, etc., which makes their voices not exactly the same. However, if they deliberately imitate each other, their voices will be almost identical.

Moen was deliberately imitating that last sentence.

Looking at "Edrasmoun" who seemed stunned for a moment, as if wondering if he had misheard, Moun then asked another question:
"I'm asking you, why aren't you saying anything?"

Now, Moen Darkning was finally certain that this wasn't a hallucination, but that someone was actually speaking in his voice.

"Who is this? Playing tricks."

Moen Daknin's face darkened instantly. He stood up from the comfortable sofa chair and pressed his hand to his chest.

"Buzz!"

A surge of magic power appeared beneath Morne Darkning's feet.

Magic surged into the sky, obscuring Morne Darkning's body. Almost instantly, a suit of armor covered his body—an exquisitely crafted silver suit of armor.

“This magic looks familiar.” Standing on the second floor of the villa, watching the scene unfold before him, Moen’s expression was strange. He was all too familiar with the magic used by “Edras Moen” – it was “Star Magic”!
"Who are you? Why are you impersonating me?"

Moen Daknin's gaze finally locked onto Moen. His face darkened, and he gritted his teeth as he asked the question. He saw Moen's face; it was almost identical to his own.

This strange phenomenon did not frighten Moen Darkning; he immediately thought it was probably some kind of disguise magic item.

What surprised Moen Daknin the most was that this guy had somehow made it to the second floor without him noticing, and was now standing at the corner of the stairs between the first and second floors, looking at him with a mocking expression.

This is indeed terrifying, because if the other party hadn't been hiding on the second floor from the beginning, but had instead reached up right in front of him, it would have been no different from a death sentence for him.

In this situation, the other party could kill him at will, so there was no need for him to struggle; struggling would only make his death more painful.

"Imitating your face?"

Upon hearing the words "Edras Moen," Moen couldn't hold back for a moment. People who weren't that old might not understand these words, but he had just seen the advertisement, so he naturally found it a bit hard to keep his composure.

Is it possible that you are the imitator?

Moen spoke, and his words made the face of the "high-ranking and powerful" "Edras Moen" darken even more.

"Playing tricks and spouting nonsense!"

Moen Darkning was a little annoyed. Was this strange guy here to make fun of him? He couldn't be bothered to waste any more words with him. Since this guy dared to come looking for death, he would grant the strange guy's wish!

"Buzz!"

Clad in silver armor, Moen Darkning surged with magic. He flashed forward, drawing the greatsword from his back.

"Out of control."

Moen didn't move, he just shook his head.

This incredibly arrogant attitude, which treated him almost like he wasn't human, naturally made Moen Darkning even angrier. He charged even more fiercely, even leaping into the air and delivering a powerful slash to Moen, who was on the second floor of the stairs.

"Qiang!"

"boom!"

This powerful leaping strike landed in front of Moen, hitting the invisible wall, and then a tremendous force rebounded back.

Moen Darkning felt a numbness in his hand, and his whole body was thrown backward, tumbling several times in the air before crashing to the ground.

'What kind of ability is this?!'
Moen Darkning was shocked and couldn't understand what had just happened. Enduring the pain, he struggled to get up.

But before the bewildered Moen Darkning could stand up, he was kicked hard in the chest again, almost losing his breath. He flew backward, crashing through a lot of furniture before finally slamming into the wall.

'We underestimated them.'
Now, Moen Daknin finally realized that even though he had been vigilant enough, he had still underestimated his opponent. He should have used his full strength instead of worrying about damaging the house.
